Chelsea is not the little angel everyone thinks she is. You all forget that when her dad was President a picture of her was in the paper of her coming out of a restaurant falling down drunk. I give her mom no credit.
They only drag her ugly face out when they want to get elected. They try to show what a loving family they are. What a joke... I repeat "Nothing but trailer trash"...

Finally figured out the Chelsea strategy. Chelsea has been sheltered and kept away from the press, the "fairy-tale" princess, above the fray for all these years. Now the Clown, oops Crown Princess is on the campaign trail, Those who form her target audience should therefore feel they are chosen and special because the Princess has deigned to meet with them and answer their questions, even though she still won't speak with the press. What do you think?

HRC's run for the presidency, gives me hope that a woman might, just break the ultimate glass ceiling. Mothers will be able to tell their daughters, "You can be anything, you want, even President of the United States," and it will be true. Talk about change! Everything changes, if a woman becomes President of the United States. Perhaps, it will help to reduce some of the gender bias, that exists in the U.S., and around the world.

She is so qualified for this position. She knows healthcare, inside and out. Her policy work with healthcare and education issues over the years gives her a deep insight and committment towards improving the lives of people. During her years as First Lady of Arkansas, she was the first wife of a governor, who held a job. And, yes, she received bad press and criticism for doing this, but she kept doing it, anyway. She was the first female law partner in the Rose law firm. This was a first, in Arkansas. While she was First Lady of Arkansas, she worked to improve the education programs, and these programs exist today, and have been implemented in other states. She also did policy work for improving healthcare for children. Along the way, she has made mistakes, which I believe she has learned from.

Foreign policy issues are not foreign to her. She has served on the Armed Services Committee in the Senate, and has experience with policy issues. During her years of First Lady, she worked on improving human rights issues, breast cancer awareness, HIV/AIDS research, which gave her the opportunity and experience of traveling to many different countries, and interacting with all levels of people.

Most of all, she is tough, and knows her own mind. The gender bias she has faced during this primary season has been mind boggling, but she keeps focused and working towards her goal.

People talk about her being divisive, but during her senate work, she has worked across party lines, and has earned the respect of her fellow senators. It is important to realize the good work she has done. She has demonstrated her competence many, many times.

This gives me inspiration and hope for change. She has been a change agent, her entire life.

Amazing, Hillary has the wool pulled over so many eyes. If only you had the unfortunate priviledge of actually meeting her

To TexasgakL Look who is talking about hating. I only hate the Clintons ...you seem to hate your race. SHAME ON YOU.... But you know what... The way you talk about Obama...you have made me change my mind ... I am voting Republican. Your the idiot... I hope some day you learn to like your own race.
I really wanted Colin Powell to run but I guess you would have a probem with him too as he is also a black man. Because I disagree with you - you think I am acting like a child. You sound like all of the other people that like Hillary ... If you disagree with her... you are totally wrong. The media has always given Hillary a free pass. They don't seem to mention that the black woman she just made head of her campaign was the same broad who broke into a office a number of years ago and stole papers for Hillary and Bill and then those papers misteriously disappeared. Look it up... You will see what I mean. There has always been . It seems you don't care if the media goes easy on HIllary...but boy let them say or do something good for her opponent and all hell breaks loose. Hillary uses Chelsea when it suits them. When you are running for an office or you are President, your whole family is fair game. You are old enough to remember JFK. They even made a comic record of his whole family. He never cried about it... took it with a grain of salt. Hillary "cires" about everythihg. What a leader she would make for our Military....But as I say thanks to you and everyone else who has talked agains Obama.... I am switching parties this time...which I have never done before. I will be voting for the Republican... I guess there are too many questions on Obama... and you know my feelings on Hilary. I will post no more comments, Texasgal... You are an idiot and I want nothing more to do with you.

Charleygirl seems llike you are voting agianst a view by someone else. We all are entitled to our opinions. I am a Hillary supporter. But i'm supporting her agenda which helps all of us Americans. I have visited other countries and they totally adore the Clintons. You need to vote on the issues and not let anyone dissuade you otherwise. if Clinton does not get in, Obama is going to have hard sell himself as to why I should let the democrats have full control. A present vote is not a decisive vote. If he cannot take a stand on issues that matter, than we are in trouble. How about our daughters, granddaughters rights? Hillary fights for everyone. I was a Obama supporter, but I truly believe he needs to grow up before stepping into the arena of the highest office in our country. Besides Michelle scares me. Look at a picture of them after one of the results. He is a sincere person, she on the other hand looks cold and calculating.

      • Posted By: RetiredMarine @ 02/15/2008 10:39:15 AM

her agenda is to make you a government slave under the UN.... and you like this?

  • Posted By: charleymcgee @ 02/15/2008 8:04:28 AM

Remember this...it takes someone who has a very high IQ to become a really good crook and get away with it ...for a while anyway. Although I do not believe Hillary is that smart...just a good liar. That only takes a good memory which is what I believe she has. The one I kind of feel sorry for although I think he is a big crook too...is Mr. Clinton. She will beat the crap out of him if she does not win. I guess when I look at HIllary I can understand why he cheats on her......Also, when a family becomes the First Family they owe it to the country to at least try to bring some class into the White House. Both in their personal lives and their public lives. At least for the 4 or 8 years they are in the office. No one wants to hear that their President is in the Oval Office having sex with a girl young enough to be his daughter. If you don't care about something like that then you must be doing the same thing in your private life. For a woman to find out that her husband has cheated on so many occasions...she is not foregiving just stupid...But that being said... Hillary keeps saying she is the most qualitied. Please someone tell me what she has done.? What bills has written and passed in the Senate? She is a loser just like her husband....Trailer trash.... Remember the Carters? No difference...

Name calling does you know good. However I do agree that it appears the media is too easy on obama. What some fail to recognize(or ignore) is that obama has detailed his missgiving in a book.He is far from perfect and has admited as such.I think this is why so many people like him because he can admit a mistake unlike mrs clinton?

FOR ONCE THE COUNTRY HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO ELECT A WOMAN NOT ONLY WITH HIGH INTELLECTUAL ABILITIES, BUT WITH GENUINE COMMON SENCE. SHE HAS A UNIQUE UNDERSTANDING OF PROBLEMS FACING OUR COUNTRY ALONG WITH SOLID SOLUTIONS. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT MEDIA PUNDITS INVENT SITUATIONS TO BRING ADVERSE CRITICISM ABOUT INSIGNIFICENT SITUATIONS AND TAKE CHEAP SHOTS AT HER AND HER FAMILY. THEY HAVE REDUCED A FORMER SUCCESSFUL PRESIDENT TO A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN STATUS BY OVER CRITICIZING HIM AND TWISTING HIS WORDS WHEN HE EXERCIZES HIS RIGHT TO HELP HIS SPOUSE IN HER CAMPAIGN JUST AS HER OPPONENT 'S SPOUSE DOES FOR HER HUSBAND IN HIS CAMPAIGN . OBAMA'S MINISTERIAL APPROACH TO HIS AUDIENCES WHILE INSPIRATIONAL ENDS THERE UNLIKE HILLARY HE OFFERS PROMISES WITH NO DEPTH OR SOLUTIONS TO OUR PROBLEMS. COMPARED TO HILLARY THIS MEDIA GENERATED CELEBERTY IS A JOHNNY COME LATELY WHEN IT COMES TO SOLVING OUR MANY SERIOUS PROBLEMS. SHE HAS THE EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM AND ABILITY TO MASTER THE MANY TASKS OUR COUNTRY HAS BEFORE IT. ANY PRESIDENT WILL HAVE A HORRIBLE TASK CORRECTING THE EIGHT YEARS OF BUSH'S ENEPT REIGN. IT WILL NOT BE A MATTER OF WAVING A WAND AND HOPE WE WILL SOLVE ALL PROBLEMS , 'BRING BOTH PARTIES TOGETHER ,'BRING PEACE , BRING OUR TROUPS HOME ,TAKE CARE OF OUR DEVALUATING DOLLAR, INFLATION, RISING COST OF ALL UTILITIES, DEPRESSED ECONOMY, REGAINING THE RESPECT OF OTHER NATIONS.HILLARY'S HEALTH CARE IS THE BEST. IT IS A SIN FOR THE GREATEST NATION IN THE WORLD HAS NO UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE. IT DESTROYS LIVES EACH AND EVERY DAY .WHEN HARD WORKING PEOPLE LOSE EVERYTHING THEY HAVE TO PAY FOR A LOVED ONE'S HEALTH CARE. ALL THESE THINGS HILLARY KNOWS THE ROPES AS TO HOW TO IMPLEMENT THEM. PERHAPS OBAMA WILL MAKE A GOOD CANDIDATE IN ANOTHER EIGHT YEARS, BUT NOT YET COMPARED TO HILLARY.

I think this is what the taught you in college, writing in capitals letters. However capital letters are used at the beginning of a sentence and the beginning of proper names and some abbreviations.

Its too bad that this democratic nomination is about race and gender. Yes I said it. I don't how anyone else feels but if Obama is elected and goes on to win the presidency, how many of you are rich and if in the sub prime fiasco can afford to wait another four years for the economy to possibly change? Inexperience is what Obama supporters are voting for. Looking back at history when Bill Clinton got into office, the republicans reclaimed the house and the senate and whole lot more. Come on people we are getting not only a smart woman and MOTHER but she has support and experience to help her not to mention connections. The Clintons are not hated as much as America's greatest failure whom is posted on a Belfast wall. Egypt adored Clinton.

WHAT A LOT OF CRAP. I'M NOT PROUD OF POOR CITIZENSHIP' I'M SURPRISED ANY ONE RUNS FOR PUBLIC OFFICE.

Holy crap Texasgal and charleymcgee make me ashamed to be a Democrat. Here's the deal - Hillary and Barack are almost identical policy-wise, and are both decent human beings. Campaigns get rough, but if you don't support Obama as the nominee, Texasgal, or if you don't support Clinton charleymcgee, we are handing the presidency, the country, to the Republicans for 4-8 more years. This country and the world can't take that. So get over yourselves, get over this divisive politics of personality, and vote in the general election for a set of policies that would improve your lives and the state of our union. The alternative is to stand on 'principle' by electing a Republican who will continue to make the rich richer at the expense of the suffering middle class, and who will support a foreign policy that is ruinous of America's standing in the world. Grow up.

Evenmontgomery---If you read my comment--I said I like HIllary and would vote for her--not Barack Hussein Obama--and if he does run, yes I will change for I know what this man will do and I am ashamed to say I am Black for not only will he and high class Blacks run this country, but so will his so called friends--read up on him and his dealings with the gas companies and other things --he is not the right one now for our country--he is for the rich and rich only and God help the poor Blacks and other races---I have read most of the comments in here and do not understand why --no one reads up on what he has not done for us--yes he has a personnality, but he is not experienced enough to run our country and if he does get in --all the foreign countries will really hate us--I know I have been overseas and am glad to be back in America--so wise up---we need a woman in for the Democrats ---but vote for whom you want--me I vote for Hillary --if she runs

      • Posted By: robinc55 @ 02/13/2008 3:08:01 AM

Texasgal, I think you must be employed by the Clinton Campaign. If you read back through your preachings, your theme is not following through. NICE TRY???????

        • Posted By: Texasgal @ 02/13/2008 3:32:02 AM

Robin---I am not campaning for anyone, just stating facts I know to be true--you may vote for whomever you want, but do not say I no not what I speak of---you want our country to be like Bush or even worse then vote for Obama, You must be for Obama and so be it, but again--I am what I am and I know from experience as I am a 70 old woman and not a young child like you sound--I have seen many presidents and would rather have Hillary in office than him--so do me a favor---got to a web sight and read up on Obama and his past and I mean all of his past--not what the media wants you to read---and by the way read what his mother said----About time a Black got to be President and get the whites out--shame on you

          • Posted By: EvanMontgomery @ 02/13/2008 4:41:10 PM

Obama's mother is dead. She died a long time ago, in the 1980s. So was she talking about Jesse Jackson, or what? A lot of what you've read about Obama is Republican propaganda, the same type of stuff they've done to Hillary over the years. It's all crap.

  • Posted By: atgnwt @ 02/13/2008 10:19:16 AM

"But the average college student can't relate to her, because she seems so intellectual."

I think that is the saddest statement I've read and what a commentary on our educational system. I know I talk to college students and am amazed at their lack of basic knowledge and skills. Their ignorance is frightening. What in the world are they paying for at college today?

    • Posted By: vince.stewart @ 02/13/2008 2:03:43 PM

Yea, depends on who you talked to, in my undergraduate career I was guided by the saying 'you get out of it what you put into it' but many others were more concerned with skipping classes, cramming, partying, etc.. not that I didn't party or anything but you know what I mean.

  • Posted By: observer101 @ 02/10/2008 8:44:56 PM

The Clintons are no good, lying snakes with there own agenda....Some of the comments on here are true about the love em and leav'em theory. She could give a rats behind about the common folks. Her and her husband cant be trusted to run the country when they cant even run there own marriage. Honestly, Hillary had no clue about Monica running in and out of the oval office?..What does that say about whats was going on in our Whitehouse....And ppl want more of that crap going on? And they are "pimping" out there daughter they are despratly trying to put a goody goody family spin on everything....Its just sick.

    • Posted By: golfsis @ 02/12/2008 4:22:54 PM

I am trying to figure out what made Chelsea so available to public view after 27 years of protection by her family? Was it for a vote to get the "win" or have they decided that she is a grown woman? She was always off-limits to the public, but when the chips are down and things get tight, who do they bring out to the public? Their protected daughter. What else can you call it by "pimping?" The Clintons will do whatever just to say "i won!"

  • Posted By: FloridaandWorking @ 02/12/2008 9:51:46 PM

Why does Shuster get suspended when everyone else at MSNBC utter the most vile and degrading statements about Bush and any other Republican and their family members?

Why hasn't MSNBC "suspended" Oberman--want to talk about an complete and consistent ass hole.

Chelsea put herself out there and she is not a child. The comment was about Hillary putting her daughter out front to beg for votes.

MSNBC has taken up where Air American failed.

    • Posted By: robinc55 @ 02/13/2008 3:03:31 AM

Did the Clinton's say they were sorry when they tried to smear Monica? Said she was a liar and a lot of other terrible things. I didn't hear a public apology from the Clinton's when they tried to smear her, Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot it okay if the Clinton's do it to someone else

  • Posted By: merryxmasbaby @ 02/12/2008 3:31:34 PM

Will everybody, especially the media, PLEASE stop gushing all over Obama! He's a pretty cover, but when you open the book...there's really not that much...I would like to know....what CHANGE has he accomplished besides being a community activist and sponsoring that swiss cheese ethics reform bill? I don't mean to belittle his accomplishment, but when you compare it to Hillary's lifetime of work...there is no comparison. PEOPLE...be informed when you vote....read their resumes before you hire!

    • Posted By: Texasgal @ 02/13/2008 12:13:27 AM

I read your comment and I am with you 100%--I am a Dem for over 50 yrs, but if Obama gets in I will vote Republician--he is only for change for his people and after reading about his church there is no way I would vote for a man like him --he is arrogant and thinks he is God's gift to the people--like you said---they need to see what he has done for our country --I want someone who is older and wiser and not so sure of himself--

  • Posted By: charleymcgee @ 02/12/2008 11:48:49 PM

Hillary, Chelsea, Bill are ugly inside and out. Biggest liars ever... Hillary is the nearest to a communist that has ever run for President. God help us all if she wins. Who ever said the anit-christ was a male???

  • Posted By: Marie14 @ 02/12/2008 10:47:38 PM

@melville, great attempt at degrading Obama and his supporters. The student did not say that Hillary Clinton is intellectual, or that Obama is not intellectual! She made a comment about her perception of Chelsea only. I graduated from a top 10 school, love intellectuals and am voting for Obama, who incidentally, graduated #1 in his class from HARVARD.

  • Posted By: melville @ 02/12/2008 10:34:48 PM

The comment from the Stanford student is appalling. Stating that Chelsea Clinton is "too intellectual" for the average college student?.......WOW! That is too hard for me to understand. So Ms. Adamson chose to vote for the candidate that was not as intellectual? How did this smart child get into Stanford?

  • Posted By: MacXander @ 02/12/2008 10:30:36 PM

People get a clue, if Obama wins the Democratic nomination, McCain will be our next President. His eloquence and minor-leaque experience will be no match for a seasoned politician like McCain. I f the Democrats are serious about winning the White House anytime soon, they'd better get behind a serious candidate who can talk policies and issues and not about "change" and other vaporous nonsense.
