Comment: It amazes me how ignorant and uninfomred people can be about mormons and then turn around and try to make informed commetns about them. It's truly laughable. I am not a mormon but have nothing but great things to say about the faith.

Comment: Okay, dancing really doesn't have a lot of bearing on how people percieve others especially since this Zach guy is proud to "shatter the notion that Mormons can't dance and don't know how to have fun." Wouldn't it be better served, I dunno, shattering the notion that what they believe is on par with ridiculousness that is Scientology? See Cartoon Banned by Mormon Church on youtube.com and you'll see what I mean.

Comment: Darn aad135, I am an active and devout LDS and I could have sworn you were describing my life, except for the bitterness and lack of faith part. Even though I am LDS, I am still human and have made a number fo the mistakes you described; however, I have risen from those ashes and moved on and received forgiveness for the mistakes I made with the children from my first two marriages. Yep, we, as Mormons, live good lives; however, we make mistakes just like you asserted that clou did.. It is possible that clou is a disheartened and former LDS member, but you do us all a disfavor by branding and lashing out at people who are misinformed about who we are and what we believe. I have heard some fanciful yarns on here about "true" LDS beliefs and all they do is make me laugh. Remember, a little manure around the base of the tree only helps the tree to grow. And, we will do that in spite of what others may say about us or your lack of faith in those who have "been there" and returned. Let the gainsayers do what they will. AS the Lord said in the D&C, they may as well stand in the middle of the Missouri River and raise their arms to turn it from its decreed course for all the good it will do them. I was more offended by your remarks than his.

Comment: Wow aad135! Now there is a shining example of true Christian compassion. You do your religion proud! You do want to be called Christians now, right? I can't keep up with all the PR these days.

Comment: Interesting that its never pointed out what religion all the other people belong to, but as soon as someone finds out a contestant is from Utah or a member of the LDS faith its like a big deal. Who cares? So what if a Christian ends up on TV? Its not like people need to read an artical about it.

Comment: that is because none of the others belong to such a ignorant religion

Comment: Comment: Let me paint the picture that I see of you, Billy. You're in your late sixties, embittered because your sweet Mormon wife and family left you because they found out what a sever hypocrite that you were; probably had three or four affairs on her and are addicted to pornography. She understood that you were no longer worth her own heartache. She is now married to a valiant member of the church, who is now serving as a Mission President in some remote corner of the world, spreading this Gospel of hope and truth. Meanwhile, you sit in your disgusting tenement apartment building, on welfare and disability, probably connected to an oxygen tank, and can do nothing but persecute the only thing that once brought joy into your life - the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You are a bitter little man because you were and still are a weak-souled person who could not live up to the expectations that you had for yourself as a member of the church. Your children don't even contact you on your birthday, Christmas or Father's Day because they don't want to be reminded of the disappointment and sadness that you caused them in their life. Your grandchildren don't even know who you are. If you die tomorrow, you'd be nothing more than a slab of meat on the coroner's table with a tag on your shriveled toe that ends up being creamated because noone takes the time or effort to claim your mortal vessel for a dignified burial. I really feel quite sad for you, Billy. The only consolation that I and your family has it that there will be a day of reconing with the Lord, and you will know and stand accountable for your lack of faith, and the pain, humiliation, and degradation that you brought upon your family and the Lord will be amply rewarded...

Comment: Not according to Qis' bio on abc.com. He is too, check it out. Matter of fact, there are too many related coincidences here. They led America to believe they searched coast to coast selecting talent, randomly. Now that it's over, we learn how that Zach was once engaged to Julianne, one of the professional dancers on Dancing w/the Stars. She just happened to be in the audience, and Bruno's team won the following week.

Comment: Not according to Qis' bio on www.abc.com. Check it out. He's Latter Day Saints. It's certainly coincidental. Matter of fact, there are too many related coincidences. Like, Julianne and Zach. They were once engaged and broke up. Julianne is one of the professional dancers on Dancing with the Stars that won with Apolo. Zach was good, but they lead us all to believe they went coast to coast and selected randomly.
