i think it's disgusting they way men are being compared to killer whales and elephants. it's like anti feminism but for men. I'm not a man, i am not sexually attracted to men either. i think it's sad they way the author of the book feels she need to resort to animal training tactics to keep her man in check. if he doesn't consider your feelings when he makes decisions, maybe it's because you are a nagging hag, and he doesn't love you as much as you think he does. i agree that all humans are animals, but if you compare you man to animals with lower mental capacities, isn't he nothing but your pet? i think it is a ridiculous book written by a woman who fell in love with the wrong man and had enough time to waste by comparing her man to an animal and listing the things one should do, should their 'pet' go out of bounds. it's ridiculous.

I dunno- this all seems kind of dishonest and demeaning to men. I don't need to lure my boyfriend away with chips. I merely say, " Please don't stand over me while I cook. It makes me feel like you don't trust me to make a good dinner." I think any couple should have the maturity to communicate in a straightforward fashion.

This book is truly appalling. If a man wrote a book, "How to tame your wife" or "How to manipulate your wife to get her to do what you want" women all over America would be saying how the author is a manipulative pig.

However, when the shoe is on the other foot, American society is supposed to just chuckle it off as something written by a crazy author. The only problem is, that many women will follow this advice.

Smarter men will catch on & will resent being manipulated. In some cases, it will be at the cost of the marriage.

Notice the book is written by a woman! This is absolutely ridiculous. The key to marital bliss is to train your husband like an animal? Marriage is about TWO people both making sacrifices in order to compliment each other, not training one person to make one happy. A successful AND happy marriage is one that both parties have an equal say in family matters. Are there men out there who won't piss you off at all? Maybe, but sometimes crap happens and people get mad. Are there men out there who won't act like a bunch of idiots and cause you more pain than happiness? Yes, there are, try looking around at places other than eHarmony and your local pub. Anyway, long story short, here is my comment: If you have to manipulate someone to get along with them, you probably should look elsewhere. If you have to manipulate most people to get what you want from them, check your own *** before you start throwing it at other people.
