John McCain is the one hope for America. Terrorism, Communism, and Socialism are rising up throughout America and even here within her borders. No, it's not time for on-the-job training. It's not time for liberalism at it's most extreme. It is not time for breaking new ground for the sake of breaking new ground and experimenting with change. We are not going to be a house built upon the sand, hoping that the waters stay calm.. The waters are about to rise up and rage out of control. We need a president who will be solid, grounded, face all fear with more determination than ever and protect all Americans within our borders. That man is John McCain. Who he picks as VP should believe in God, believe in morals and values that made America strong, and most of all, understands the struggles and structure of being a member of the U.S. military. That man can be none other than his closest friend, Sen. Lindsey Graham of SC.

It's a good sign that McCain isn't an ultra-conservative. He's someone who will compromise and bend. Someone who could become a very good president in his ability to not always conform to the party line. Unlike Obama, who always stays strictly democratic and is an extreme liberal. McCain is far better suited to do what is best for the country and not worry about party leaders whispering in his ear what to do.

Mccain 2000 isn't ultra conservative. Mccain 2008 is a mere puppet for the people who don't give a crap about you if you aren't in their agenda.

      Mccain has been called lame.
I think it's just his game.
He wants to win off POW fame.
But since 2000, he just ain't the same.

This idiot couldn't even beat Bush, the dumbest republican I've ever seen in my LIFE!
But, in Mccain's favor, he will be vetoing all beers if he's elected.

Such figures don't come much more "top" in either political party than retired four-star General Wes Clark, the former Supreme Allied Commander Europe for NATO during the Kosovo War

What Wesley Clark said about John McCain

"I know he's trying to get traction by seeking to play to what he thinks is his strong suit of national security," Clark said of McCain while speaking from his office in Little Rock, Arkansas. "The truth is that, in national security terms, he's largely untested and untried. He's never been responsible for policy formulation. He's never had leadership in a crisis, or in anything larger than his own element on an aircraft carrier or [in managing] his own congressional staff. it's not clear that this is going to be the strong suit that he thinks it is."

Resume aside, though, Clark also took issue with the Arizona Republican's instincts on national security. "McCain's weakness is that he's always been for the use of force, force and more force. In my experience, the only time to use force is as a last resort. ... When he talks about throwing Russia out of the G8 and makes ditties about bombing Iran, he betrays a disrespect for the office of the presidency"

What General Norman Schwartzkoph said about Wesley Clark. "He has an integrity problem".

Ted Sampley, who fought with US Special Forces in Vietnam and is now a leading campaigner for veterans??? rights, said: I have been following John McCain???s career for nearly 20 years. I know him personally. There is something wrong with this guy and let me tell you what it is ??? deceit.

"When he came home and saw that Carol was not the beauty he left behind, he started running around on her almost right away. Everybody around him knew it. Eventually he met Cindy and she was young and beautiful and very wealthy. At that point McCain just dumped Carol for something he thought was better."

John McCain is the classic opportunist. He's always reaching for attention and glory, he said. After he came home, Carol walked with a limp. So he threw her over for a poster girl with big money from Arizona. And the rest is history.

Ross Perot, a billionaire Texas businessman, and a former presidential candidate, who paid her medical bills all those years ago, now believes that both Carol McCain and the American people have been taken in by a man who is unusually slick and cruel -- even by the standards of modern politics.

McCain did not vote to "close a gun show loophole" as there is no gun show loophole to close, and wasn't one!
This is McCain helping the left wage a discrimination campaign against firearms owners in which there is something wrong with the gun owners' rights at all times, real or imagined! If not here, then certainly there. Making a false "threat" out of a person's rights is a discrimination campaign... the call to action is to remove the right.
McCain has done AS BADLY before on the firearms issue. His pro gun credencials are fairly new and VERY THIN! McCain has done WORSE on first amandment issues ,too!
McCain is all rudder and no keel! Unsafe at any speed!
    (a little Navy talk, there).
    Write in Romney!

This article is dated Feb.18 2008. Has anything changed?

    • Posted By: the-commish @ 06/11/2008 10:46:07 PM

      Not much has changed, Pia.

I do think the GOP will mostly unite behind John McCain. What choise do they have! Just as the Dems will mostly unite behind Obama.

Independents, as usual, will decide the election.

The fact about Senator McCain is he has been a fantastic teacher! He, himeslf, and all by his self, has taught conservitives to never, ever trust him on domestic issues! He worked very hard to teach this leason!
And for conservitives it was a VERY expensive course of instruction, and in the end... not worth much! It was also an unforgetable lesson!
McCain does not quite understand the lesson he taught, and with such enthusiasm! Or that HE is indeed the teacher!

Oh happy day!!!!!!!!!! Bad news for McGremlin.......

Today's Gallup - "Since Hillary Clinton decided to concede the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama last week, Obama has established a lead over Republican John McCain in general-election polling. Obama's gains have come more from women than men, though he has picked up among both groups in recent days.
Obama's lead among women has now expanded from five percentage points to 13."

    Wait guys, it gets better..........

"One of Clinton's core groups of supporters during the nomination phase of the campaign was older women. During the last few days of her active candidacy, Clinton led McCain by 51% to 41% among women aged 50 and older, while Obama trailed McCain among this group, 46% to 43%.

Since Clinton suspended her campaign, older women's vote preferences have shifted toward Obama, so that he now enjoys a six-point advantage over McCain."

Oh happy day!!!!!! The TRAITOR, CROOK, FRAUD, WOMANIZER is slowly dying!!!

I officially reported such a fraudulent abusive use of fake postings that I just viewed on this site today that affected me personally. This is what it said in which the blogger fraudulently used my name as the poster:

Comment: I agree. So why do so many Obama supporters make him out to be a Messiah?

I NEVER wrote the above comment or ANY mention of Obama being a Messiah. At this point I am ready to bring this abusive process that you are using on your site to FOX NEWS as I have done this before and they are very responsive. I have copied this report to send onto the media if I dont see a stop to the smearing of my name or others on this site moving forward!

Hillary Supporters beware and rememeber the wolf's clothing Republican!!!!

John MCCain and his dog pack Republican impreached BILL CLINTON out of Oval office, for Monica lewisky scandal,Even Republican party Knows John MCCain scandal during his Military serivce in Vietnam to and fro from his base doing his sinful Bigamy affairs being allowed with Military Blessing ???cheat his first Wife...Just because at that time his Father incharge and Admiral right????/Now You Republican nominate him as Candidate??? what a Hypocrites Bunch!!!!!!

If US has a PRESIDENT of this magnitude appeals WOW !!!!!!really AMAZING real Talented never in AMERICAN history before,Im really PROUD to be American Again,,he's Zionist, Muslim, Christian, Black, White,Buddist,Hindu,Bengali,African,Red-Indian,Chinese,Japanese,Hawaiian,..........WOW this all are an ASSETS smart Americans can be proud of,only the FOOL and STUPID can treats this as LIABILITY that look exactly like themselves.

Barack Obama would actually be much better for America security. There's no doubt to me McCain would be better than Bush, the Bush years being probably as much about fueling terrorism than fighting it. But McCain would still represent (but less) what can be seen as America's arrogance, something that makes USA so unpopular around the world. A black man with Hussein as a middle name would send a clear message in Middle East that America is about freedom, an important contrast with some form of imperialism. Combined with Obama intelligence about understanding dialogging with enemies, I humbly think this would affect directly terrorism recruiting. I may sound over-optimistic, but I think his image alone as a president could do more for democracy in Middle East than any war.

This Economy common sense!! yet many Americans have difficulties to understand the basic of their existence in first place.Check out the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18 and 19). Take a look at Romans 1:22-32. Pretty sobering reading - if you are not too self-important and arrogant to think you've already got it all figured out and don't need the input of the Ancient of Days. Don't guess they teach Proverbs 1:7 at those Ivy League school.

The reason the right is mad, and so's the left..Is that Mccain will sell anyone out for a few votes, or throw them under the bus for political convenience.

Some people call him a Maverick..most call him a flip-flopper.

  • Posted By: michaelf52 @ 03/31/2008 8:59:15 PM

Ann Coulter's endorsement is the kiss of death. The times are changing and the far right is going to be left far behind due to narrow minded thinking. The country, more than ever is a melting pot and this requires more open mindness than what people like Coulter and Limbaugh are capable of. They might have a loyal following but they are going to whine like victims all the way thru the election.

    • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 06/11/2008 12:29:43 AM

Coulter and Limbaugh have a loyal following of what a few hundred thousand people. Spread out around the country these people would do little to damage McCain's chances but the upside to McCain throwing Coulter and Limbaugh under the bus would be huge.

    • Posted By: Alvy @ 04/04/2008 4:30:19 PM

Question is: Who in their right mind would follow the supporters of the right mind?

  • Posted By: Nins @ 03/30/2008 12:41:11 AM

All I can say is, if the ultra right wing pundits hate McCain, that makes me like him more. However, it is possible that they are pretending to hate McCain in a effort to make him seem more palatable to mainstream voters (who fear the vociferous ignorance of the radical right), similar to how they are urging Republicans to vote for Clinton in primaries, to make it easier for McCain to win, since Clinton is a less substantial foe than Obama. It's all just a shell game.

I'm a Republican and even a rather conservative one, but the holier-than-thou "professional conservatives" (people who make money off of peddling ignorance and hate) make my blood boil. They make the GOP look like a bunch of KKK lunatics, and discourage lots of normal people from being Republicans.

    • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 06/11/2008 12:24:29 AM

Another thing we agree on. The extreme right don't like McCain, which is one of the reasons I'm supporting him.

I keep hearing from the Democrat about getting out of Iraq. Obama said he would have never been there in the first place. Saddam needed to be taken from power if not the United States than who. We get all upset about Michael Vick and his dog fights, the Japanese killing whales. How long would you have let Saddam kill humans and say it is none of are business. Go to google and type in [.saddam hussein mass graves] If we as Americans do not think this needed to be done then we should not feel the need to help any country.

    • Posted By: all you need is love @ 06/10/2008 11:06:04 PM

Why would we go into a stable situation like Iraaq when people are being killed in greater numbers in
darfur. is it race isit oil or both that made a wr in Iraq trump saving people in Darfur?
