Nominating trash like winehouse is a joke. I hope my daughter never gets the impression that if you sing, you can do drugs, defile yourself and be ungrateful and still win a Grammy. Its like there is no glamor in it any more. Just be sensationalized somehow, like being a drugged out, drunk, snaggletoothed , twit and you get one. Oh and dont forget if one wants a Grammy you also have to be booed off stage while being drunk and spit on your fans while exit stage left...What a loser.

She looks scary to me, like a Trans-sexual or something....

Hancock and Mitchell nostalgic winners? Humpf. Refreshing and innovative, galore.

The production was way over the top! I like Amy Winehouse and was glad that she gave a good performance. And sure she was surprised-she won 5 grammys! The gospel segment was great. Let It Be was beautifully done and very moving. We were waiting for John Fogerty and the rock tribute to Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis. Well worth the wait.
Next year, maybe they can take it down a notch. Whew!

I agree, I normally get through the first 15 minutes before I turn to something else but I watched the entire show because it was so good. I admit I took a break during the Kanye West performance however because he is one performer I can't stand. Happy for Vince Gill although I would have preferred it go to Brad Paisley. I was curious about Amy Winehouse but really din't think she was such great shakes she seemed pretty spaced.

I'm sorry, I can't get past Kanye's West's crying and complaining before when he didn't win. I wonder why he didn't rush the stage and try to grab the Grammy for Best Album while shouting "Give a black man a chance'"
Oh, maybe it was because Herbie Hancock won!

Happy that Amy won but know it was an empathy vote......How cool to see Keely Smith sing with Kid Rock!
...what a WOW! to see a jazz album win for Best...and Vince Gill's album deserved every accolade ...and his comments were the best made at the show.

I enjoyed the Grammys this year, much more than in the past. The tribute to those who past was truley touching. I enjoyed the meeting of the past with the new younger artist. The tribute to the Beatles will always be a winner, except for Ringo. All in all my daughter and enjoyed the show, I was not sure of Amy.

I felt the tribute song to those who have past was done beautifully, I also enjoyed the Beatles tribute except for Ringo, and what a pleasure it was to see the old with the new young artists. Good Show!

What wackos vote for these singers and songs? It appeared last night that pitch doesn't matter, nor is lyric writing a craft anymore. The only bright spots were Turner's performance and Herbie's win.
