Live in Texas ,Now,a second avenue you will use:Immigration reform,Meaning big part of Nafta Superhighway,The Texas Corridor,or what ever name being used this day.The group has all bases covered, with your thirst to get the public the correct information, this same group makes you a scribe.

Wow... this is the second go-round Newsweek has taken on Paul. In fact, if I remember correctly, half of this this has been recycled from an older hit-piece.
Question: why did you ask all of the government agencies whether or not they were building a super-highway? You left out the people who live, own businesses, you know HAVE LIVES there. And all of the reporting Lou Dobbs has substanitated on CNN? Why did the SPP offices SHUT DOWN in December if they were not up to something?

Oh, and about former Mexican Pres. Vicente Fox (who was a former exec at Pepsi Co.): What about how he has publically stated the Amero will be the new standardized currency for the US, Canada, and Mexico, just as the Euro has become for the EU? Did you mealy-mouthed toads at Newsweek read his book?

The idiot who wrote this is a low-level opportunist who was given an assignment by a superior to write a piece specifically to discredit Paul. It WREAKS of bias, you don't see articles like this intentionally slamming and trying at length to discredit a political candidate... ever.

Whether you support Paul or not, think he's crazy or not, this is sound proof that you NEVER take what the media says as truth.

    Does that tell you something?

Whether you support Paul or not, this is sound

Check your own facts Newsweek. Dr. Paul has never said there is a "secret conspiracy" to create the NAU. He has stated the opposite.

Why not read his own words:
    http://www.house.gov/paul/tst/tst2006/tst082806.htm
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=wbyebk-V-Hs

Newsweek, your transparent shilling for war and interventionism and your obvious lack of journalistic integrity will be your downfall.

Can you now do articles in this same vein on McCain, Huckabee, Obama and Clinton?

This artilcle is laughable ... the Texas Trans Corridor (aka NAFTA Superhighway) absolutely exists .. just google Texas Trans Corridor and learn the truth. The TTC was shut down thought due to protesting af a whole bunch of patriotic Texans. Hardly anyone knows about that though (just google it) because the mainstream media would like you to think that the NAFTA Superhighway is some "conspiracy theory" and therefore they never reported on the protests. You mainstream media puppets ought to be brought up on treason and terror charges.

Newsweek, don't think that just because you your ilk can dig up some garbage an write an inane hit piece that you have dissuaded anyone from the philosophies of Dr. Paul, which are the philosophies of freedom and liberty. The philosophy of freedom was not invented by Dr. Paul, but he has made it popular again. Your attempt to sully the reputation of a truly remarkable, nay revolutionary, political figure, will ultimately fail. You will not be able to maintain your stranglehold on media forever. The American public is waking up and it may not be too long before new, alternative media outlets elipse you and your kind.

Wow... this is the second go-round Newsweek has taken at Ron Paul. Re-cycled from an earlier article, and you can pull the plug on the majority of it's claims. No NAFTA super-highway? Why did you only talk to government offices about that one? Anyone watch CNN? Thousands of people have been contacting their local representatives about this and guess what: THE SPP SHUT IT'S OFFICES DOWN IN DECEMBER.

If they weren't up to something why would they have done that?

Former Mexican President V. Fox has publically spoken about the amero, and said it will be in circulation.

To everybody reading this, whether you support Paul or not: never, ever, EVER take what the media ESPECIALLY Newsweek (they're one of the worst) as truth. The idiot who wrote this was given an assignment to discredit Paul from some higher up, and is just trying to kiss a$$ and work his way up the ladder. I know, I worked in the national media for almost a decade.

Oh, and by the way... to whomever wrote this (I didn't care to look at your name): F*#$% YOU, too!

I am a "Paultard" for life. Not necessarily in support of the man, who is human and therefore fallable, but of the message. I have always believed in limited government, sound money and peace. It just took a candidate with Ron Paul's courage and unblemished track record to bring us all together and expose the insanity that has become media driven politics in America. Long live the REVOLUTION!

Live in Texas and the plan for a superhighway is easy to see..Get statred with the Congressional Districts.Yes, Redistricting in Texas, all illegal by your law,The Voters Right Act,You have The Supreme Court making judgements how the law may be broken in this case. When the districts are studied,a big change has taken place from Laredo thru Austin, right down the I-35 ..kid ,there is no such a thing as coincidence

How completely laughable this article is. You've been on another planet if you aren't privy to the fact that the Texas Trans Corridor (aka Nafta Superhighway) does not exist. Oh, that's right though ... mainstream media never reported on the TTC when it got shut down due to protesting Texans ... a whole bunch of them. So is that why it does not exist ... because mainstream media didn't report it? You mainstream media puppets out to all be brought up on treason and terror charges.

I just wanted to thank all of you for your comments and struggling for the cause of liberty in the face off all of this propaganda and subversion. You are the light that guided the greatness that founded this country. With all of my being I thank you for standing up to all of the tyranny, subversion, and anti-constitutional treasonous activity being aimed at we the people of this once free republic. Please recall the press conference Rumsfeld held the day before 9/11/01 wherein he proclaimed that the then recently discovered "missing $2.3 trillion in the pentagon's budget" was a "serious threat...in fact, it could be called a matter of life and death".

Please also note that there are many 'intelligence' agencies that operate largely on black budgets. Very large ones. Where that money is funneled from is anyone's guess, but American's wallets are the ultimate source.

Please also note that the supplemental war funding for the 'wars' in Iraq and Afghanistan are NOT included in Bush's proposed budgets, and will exceed $200 billion in 2008.

Congressman Paul, M.D. has repeatedly said that we could save "hundreds of billions of dollars". He has said as much in every debate, had you even watched any of them and took notes.

I can see why Ron Paul doesn't have a chance at winning the Republican nomination. Thanks to our wonderful Mainstream Media. I just hope everyone boycotts you as#$ho#!. I'm sick of watching TV because it's all lies lies lies

When the mainstream media tries to characterize Dr. Ron Paul with the title, "Wrong Paul, Fantasy, fallacy and factual fumbles from the Republican insurgent," you know that the Ron Paul presidential campaign is on to something big. This is not the first time the word "insurgent" has been used to describe Dr. Paul. Although accurate in its meaning as revolting against the policies of the GOP, the author is well aware of the recent vernacular meaning of being an enemy of the US forces in Iraq. I consider this blatant attempt by Newsweek at mischaracterizing Dr. Paul's views as a point in his favor.
