Joe Miller is a CORPORATE PUPPET!

    CHECK THIS FACT:

Joe Miller writes for factcheck.org, a project coordinated by the Annenberg Public Policy Center which is funded by a grant from the Flora Family Foundation. The Flora Family Foundation was established by the co-founder of Hewlett-Packard and his wife, William and Flora Hewlett. Both are staunch Republicans and supporters of the McCain campaign.

David Packard, HPs other co-founder, was appointed U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense by Richard Nixon and served until 1971, solidifying the companys relationship with the Republican Party.

In 2004, lobbyists for HP succeeded in charming Congress into drafting and subsequently passing legislation to ease taxation enough for the company to reach its profits goal for the year of over $14 billion.

John Hassell, director of government affairs at Hewlett-Packard at that time, said, We're trying to take advantage of the fact that Republicans control the House, the Senate and the White House.

Joe Miller is after Ron Paul because Paul is a threat to the McCain campaign!
Joe Millers employer is financed by Hewlett-Packard and their Republican cronies!
Joe Miller, you are a fraud!
Joe Miller, keep your biased mouth shut!

Do you know why Newsweek is having financial problems and losing readership? I do.

This Joe Miller article is yet another example of why Newsweek is losing credibility and losing readership. Here are some facts:
    - Newsweek has had to reduce circulation by 500,000
    - Newsweek parent company losing money because of Newsweek
    - Newsweek revenue fell 18%
    - Newsweek 13% decline in advertising because of fewer viewers, fewer ads and lower rates.

Joe Miller's telling lies under the auspices of "factcheck" is just another lie to perpetuate more lies.

Check out this chronicle Joe Miller's lies about Ron Paul.

When Newsweek turns to writers like Joe Miller, Newsweek gets what it deserves which includes fewer readers and declining revenues.

Wow, a libelous hit piece extrraordinare!
A total loss of credibility Joe, for you, factcheck.org., AND Newsweek!

This is why I don't subscribe to your magazine. Politically motivated garbage. Paul didn't even make those claims, so how can you be fact checking them? Hire somebody to check the facts of what the claims are before you hire somebody to fact check their truth.

This article is politically motivated garbage. Paul didn't even say what is quoted. Hire a fact checker.

You said, 'The problem with Paul's claim is that there are no plans to build a NAFTA Superhighway. Or a North American Union, for that matter.'; Well, I guess somebody better tel Vicente Fox that W is lying again.

I think the news story here should be: "How is it that a candidate with fantastic funding and tons of support keeps getting cheated by a fraudulent electoral system?"

Glad to see that lying to the public is the mainstream media's new job. For anyone wanting to verify that Newsweek is spouting dishonest propaganda here is a link to an article in The Nation which actually contains truth, not corporo-fascist spin: http://www.thenation.com/doc/20070827/hayes

I think it's been said plenty below Joe. Anyone that has researched these things knows Ron Paul is correct. Sure, you can cite sources that refute his claims but that is easy in the Internet age. Any truth has an, "Anti-truth" and it only takes an article by someone who, "Sounds" credible to dis-credit. This has been especially true since 911. I think it would have been much more thoughtful to cite sources for and against these claims and let people come to their own conclusion. By the way, who are you voting for this year?

hmmm. After reading these comments , its seems to be unanimous. You need to find a new job Joe. I have an idea Joe spend some time in Iraq or Afghanistan then maybe if you get back in one piece for we know that mentally you are handicapped with delusional tendencies but you had that before you went over so no collecting for you. ITS CALLED research. Give it a try. Newsweek what ever happened to your standard of journalism. I think we all know what happened..

You people need to wake up! If NEWS WEAK DOESN'T REPORT IT, IT'S NOT TRUE!!!

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1332372560383930800&hl=en

Here's the link to a video of the folks in Walker County attending a "fake" meeting with "fake" state officials opposing the "fake" Trans-Texas Corridor or the "fake" NAFTA Superhighway. Of course, these people in Walker are simply delusional from breathing all that fresh air we have in Texas.

...and Joe Miller, please come to Texas, we REALLY want to see you in person...

It's just been reported that the Trans-Texas Cooridor was put on hiatus by the Texas legislature because it got nervous that they were about to approve a toll road that was to be operated by a Spanish owned consortium for the next 50 years. I suppose Newsweek does not consider this to be a foreign funded superhighway running from Mexico to Canada that will be payed off by charging tolls to U.S. citizens. So I suppose we should just have every large global conglomerate buy all our highways and start charging fees? That way the government can say it never raised taxes and never mispent any of our tax money so it can't afford to finance this country's infrastructure. But I suppose there's nothing nefarious about foreign companies owning our roads if all they want to do is make money. It's capitalism, right? But wait - I forgot. Silly me. There's nothing to worry about. According to Newsweek this is just a myth.

Why are you guys so keen on hiding the truth? Ron Paul supporters are tired of manipulation of votes by special interest groups and the prejudice of corporate media against leaders who believe in the constitution of United States. The news reported by the mainstream media is nothing but distortion of reality. We will no longer be fooled by falsified reporting.
