    Wow. you fail at life.

Look at all these comments: we're all Ron Paul supporters.

Feel free to peddle all the lies you want, no one will believe you.

Leading sheep to the slaughter will get you nowhere.

The New World Order will fall. Believe that.

Let's all be honest with ourselves. the "Ron Paul Revolution" is going the was of "Punx 4 Dean." I'm so tired of legions of internet goobs acting like Ron Paul walks on water and talks to God. If he had good ideas, I'd vote for him, but the fact of the matter is, his platform is based on intellectual ideals that no longer make sense in modern society. If they did, it would translate to the polls. In a world that is increasingly interdependent we cannot afford to be a nation of isolationism. The media doesn't need to "spin" Ron Paul because anyone that has taken a class in simple macroeconomics will tell you that his ideas simply don't make sense. Nationalism and Liberterianism are beautiful ideals, just as Communism is a beautiful ideal. The problem with beautiful ideals is that they don't work.

The problem with Radical Islam is that it will destroy nations from the inside out (Europe -- if you need an example just look to the Archbishop of Canterbury's recent remarks on Sharia Law!) and from the outside in (Israel) and it will not be satisfied until they are dead, or the infidels (you and I if you're not muslim) are dead or converted. Given the current tenor and state of their communications and leadership, I doubt they will have the patience for "the people of the book" that the Ottoman Turks had. Ron Paul's platform would quickly turn us into a nation of sitting ducks, with no military strength, no economic strength and a government impotent to protect my rights to life, liberty or property. I choose to vote for a candidate who will fight to defend those rights, rather than one who wants to curl up and hide from the world instead of dealing with it.

What kind of leadership is that?

Thank you, Joe Miller, for standing for truth in the face of idiocy.

Here is a simple illustration to non-interventionalism:

Throw a punch. When your punch is fully extendend, you are vulnerable to be counter attacked.

Same as the United States today.

While we "flex" our muscles and continue to thow punches EVERYWHERE, we are vulnerable to be attacked at home. Eventually you get winded and end up on the ground..... getting KICKED.

I do not want to get kicked on the ground.

You may think we will WIN FOREVER, but you may want to close that book because it is a FAIRYTALE.

Your comment demonstrates the same ignorance that Joe Miller so eloquently portrayed in his article. You obviously don't understand economics (macro or micro) or foreign policy and you certainly do not understand Dr. Paul's position on foreign policy. He is not an isolationist, he is a non-interventionist, the same as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. He wants to befriend all nations, trade with all nations, but have "entangling alliances" with none. His policy to protect America with our military is the only policy that can keep America safe and financially stable Offensive war has never protected a country. Dr. Paul would defend America with the military. Why do you think he has received more donations from military personnel than all candidates, Republican or Democrat, combined? He is the military's best friend. He will protect the lives of our brave soldiers while at the same time protecting America. I recommend you study Rome, Greece, and other great civilizations and compare it with America. The similarities are striking and we are on the decline.

Further, all great civilizations have failed for financial reasons. If you understood economics and the fallacies of Keynes-the most bankruptcy economic thought available-you would understand that Dr. Paul is the only one who will instill correct prinicples that will save our economy and financial strength. Your reference to economics is truly frightening, because it demonstrates how little knowledge you actually have. Until you understand the fiat money system of American you will never realize just how precarious of a situation America is in today.

The ideals espoused by the Constitution remain as true today as they were in 1787. The Founders had to deal with terrorists (e.g., Barbary pirates), they had to deal with war, they had to deal with financial crises, etc. You, Ashley, need to study history and economics more.

Ron Paul is a Cato, McCain, Hillary, and Obama are Caesars, and you are one of the many millions of Roman citizens who stood idly by while their Republic disintegrated.

This is not a true Revolution. This is just taking back what is OURS.

    We own it all.

    We are a Republic!

Ron Paul has been doing a great job blocking funding for this "ghost higway project" Trans Texas Corridor. TX GOV Perry vetoed the bill that would have greatly restricted eminent domain this year. Wonder what MacCain offered Perry for his support?

I'm sure this artcle by Joe Miller was not actually put in print. Does factcheck.org actually check facts?

    Hey Joe Miller,
It seems you are not such a good fact checker. You are a liar. The following link reveals your lack of research about a North American Union and direct bias against Ron Paul. You shamed yourself.

so all they could dig up was NAFTA highway, which is still up for debate, the gov't can lie to you. Also, the budget dollar amount for this empire we have and what Ronald Reagan said 12 years ago. That's all you have? Wow. McCain said he wants to stay in Iraq for 100 years. He also said he was against torture, yet today he voted against a measure that would allow for specific tactics to be used by the military. The MSM is sad.

Newsweek and ALL OF YOU North American Unioners.

Deny, mock and outright lie all you dare to. Giggle about it even. Enjoy yourselves.

Every traitor will have hell itselt to pay.

These primaries are fixed and the New Hampshire primary exposed that beyond all reasonable doubt.

The inaction by ANY government agency is evidence enough that the government cares about its' own agenda over the Constitution and our civil rights and liberties.
Another good example is comparing the media network polls to the internet polls such as Yahoo! BUZZ

The Revolution is about the Constitution, Joe. You can make up all the crap you want about Ron Paul, but you won't stop the Revolution. We became the greatest nation in the history of mankind because of our strict adherence to the rule of law, and we will again be the greatest nation on Earth when we return to those values. No army in the world will force us to continue financially supporting the murder, rape and torture currently committed in our names. The libel you have printed here serves only to make your bias and propaganda Newsweek publishes more pronounced.

    Is that all you have?
1.Highway or not, he wants to secure our border. (What about McCain?)
    2. Trillion or not, half a trillion is a nice chunk of change plus savings from eliminating do nothing departments(edumacation) will add up. (McCain- keep it all going until we are the next collapsed empire)
    3. He ran libertarian at the time, maybe he wanted to run on his own platform (McCain- Is he republican? could have fooled me)
Why don't you make a list of McCain's faults. There is certainly more than three of them. My personal favorite: Returned hero dumps cripple wife for hot drug attic heiress- And that's no conspiracy, my friends

Wow, what the 'bleep' is Joe Miller doing in this profession? I thought journalists were supposed to be fact checkers. You know, 'investigative'. The earth ain't flat. Just because you say it is Joe, don't make it so.

I thought if you had an opinion about something it should at least be based in reality. Yes Joe, the earth is round. Quit saying it's flat. Just because you say it's flat, don't make it so.

"there are, in fact, plans for a Trans-Texas Corridor, a road that would be (in spots) several football fields wide. And the road would be financed by a private company (which is partially Spanish-owned) that would then charge tolls to recoup its investment. But the TTC was approved by the Texas Legislature and the governor of Texas. It is a state initiative"

Let me tell you something. You admit yourself that "Spanish" interests are building toll roads in Texas, but you think it's ok cause they "recoup their initial investment" ... Uhm, and then what after that? Oh yes, PROFIT. Are they going to give us control of these Tolls or stop charging? Uhm No. Foreign interests controlling our roads sounds perfectly normal to me.
