Anyone heard from Bill lately? The Clinton's make it easy for the news media to appear to be pro Obama when they continue to try to disillusion us with their lies. Where there is smoke there is fire and there sure is a lot of smoke, and has been for years, around the Clinton front.

iT'S REAL NICE TO KNOW OBAMA IS GETTING SUPPORT FROM ACROSS THE RACE DIVIDE. RUMOURS MAKING THE ROUND SUGGESTS THAT THIS IS A SORT OF CARTHASIS FOR THE ATROCITIES OF SLAVERY AND THE SCARS IT LEAVES IN THE PSYCHE OF THE NATION, ALSO I BELIEVE IT IS AN ATTEMPT TO GIVE THIS COUNTRY BACK TO THE PEOPLE. I AM WATCHING TO SEE A COME-BACK TWIST IN THE TUESDAY VOTE. I AM BLACK BUT BELIEVE HILLARY WOULD MAKE A BETTER PRESIDENT BUT THE PEOPLE WILL DECIDE AND LIVE THE CHOICE NO MATTER THE CONSEQUENCES. WE LIVED WITH DUBYA I HOPE PARONIA DOES NOT RAISE A DISC - JOCKEY TO THE MOST EXALTED OFFICE ON EARTH FOR SOMETHING AS EPHEMERAL AS AS A HIGH - IN THIS CASE, A LOVE FOR THE GLITZ .
    GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES.

    Goodbye to:

???an era when parts of the populace feel so disaffected by politics that a comparative lack of knowledge, experience, and skill is actually seen as attractive, when celebrity-culture mania now infects our elections so that it???s ???cooler??? to glow with marquee charisma than to understand the vast global complexities of power on a nuclear, wounded planet.

    Goodbye to the double standard:

???She???s ???ambitious??? but he shows ???fire in the belly.??? (Ever had labor pains?)???When a sexist idiot screamed ???Iron my shirt!??? at Hillary, it was considered amusing; if a racist idiot shouted ???Shine my shoes!??? at Obama, it would???ve inspired hours of airtime and pages of newsprint analyzing our national dishonor.

support Hillary Rodham because she???s the best qualified of all candidates running in both parties. I support her because her progressive politics are as strong as her proven ability to withstand what will be a massive right-wing assault in the general election. I support her because she knows how to get us out of Iraq. I support her because she???s refreshingly thoughtful, and I???m bloodied from eight years of a jolly ???uniter??? with ejaculatory politics. I needn???t agree with her on every point. I agree with the 97 percent of her positions that are identical with Obama???s???and the few where hers are both more practical and to the left of his (like health care). I support her because she???s already smashed the first-lady stereotype and made history as a fine senator, because I believe she will continue to make history not only as the first US woman president, but as a great US president.

    As for the ???woman thing????

Me, I???m voting for Hillary not because she???s a woman???but because I am.

To all my Obama supporters, we all know that Obama is, and deserve to win this election. Everybody is taking all this inexperience non sense about Obama that just garage. Look at the facts Obama is raising millions of dollars, he as support from big name companies and countries. Clinton has all this so call experience and can even raise no money; she has to take loans to finance her negative campaigns. So what do you think so she going to do in the white office take loans and put America and American???s more into dept. Stop looking at the bias news and reading all this bias press. Obama is guaranteed to raise more money and is respected by more foreign governments then Clinton. Obama knows what he is running for and has the consistency of message and clarity of vision (yes we Can) that Hillary has never had (more loans and negative campaigns please). Obama bring hope to all American not just blacks??? or Hispanics??? but to all Americans. Obama has wisdom and a vision Clinton just has empty speeches.

    Obama for president.

We have seen this movie before from the "Anti Hillary" media like MSNBC, and Newsweek. We heard all about how Hillary was over after Iowa and then again after SC....and guess what, they were wrong twice, and were humiliated by Hillary. Now we have more of the same, you would think Newsweek would have learned their lesson by now. I hate to break it to Newsweek and Ms. Flores, but they don't decide elections....the voters do. Hillary is ahead in TX, OH and PA, and when she wins all three, what is Newsweek going to say. I can only hope that when Hillary and the voters, once again trounce Obama and his media "buddies"...that Newsweek and Ms Flores have the integrity and guts to admit that they screwed the pooch...yet again.

Hillary will win the nomination, the newsweek/Flores "crying and thumbsucking" will soon begin all over:)

The media has done everything possible to sling mud at the Clintons while making Obama shine like a new penny. Whenever something unpleasant comes up it simply disappears. While he does have a dream of a changed America the truth is that one man alone cannot change our government unless they overthrow it and begin a new one. We need someone who has the right idea while still able to play the political game. That person is not Obama at his time. Maybe in another 8 years, but not now. The media is infamous for leaning Republican-they are setting up Obama to be steamrolled by McCain-Bush's wannabe.

HIllary also deserves a little respect in that she has been hit with everything-from her husband's past behavior (not unlike most other presidents before him-we are now just more in the loop of what's going on thanks to the cable tv and the fact that we now have tv's in every room) to fighting the stigmata that a woman cannot do a man's job to the fact she loaned her campaign $5M-and she still holds her head up and continues fighting. That is the kind of president I want representing me. She has the best interests in this country at heart. She's believe's in our future and our children that are our future. She has worked hard for their cause and ours for a very, very long time. I don't know what Obama was doing 35 years ago.

Even if Senator Obama wins more pledged delegates (so far he does), wins more states (so far he does), and gets more of the popular vote (so far he does), Clinton campaign will stomach a win through the votes of "super delegates" and will also try to change the rule after the game is over, trying to legitimize Florida and Michigan voting, where Senator Obama did not campaign. How similar to how George W. Bush won the 2000 Presidential Election. Legitimate? Seems to be. Pathetic? You bet. Senator Clinton had claimed that she "embodies the change". Would you believe her after this?

why wouldn't you? to say that you couldn't would mean ANY canidate running would not accept a positive outcome due to something like that. I didn't Blame Bush for winning witht he help of Florida, I pretty much deemed the public as idiotic.

Please be more careful to whom you speak to. Keep um guessing. It works ever time. Don't settle for second best. For she will win. in the end.

Republicans campaigning for Obama won't actually vote for him. They are just running against Clinton and trying to affect the election.
After attending the democrat caucus in WA. State I think primaries, not a caucus, best serve the process and will have to rethink my favor of it being open to the general electorate (republicans). Confusion was the order of the day (I was appointed caucus chair) and there was no chance for real debate. Primaries allow more people to vote with less pressure to alter what should be a private decision. Contrary to what Clinton said stumping in Seattle; you do not have to be a registered democrat here, merely a registered voter to caucus. This allows for some less than honorable practices. I heard some bragging about angering republicans in 2000 by attending their caucus to oppose and weaken Bush. After hearing that, I looked for republicans in the room. I can not prove anything, but I did notice some things, especially among those claiming to be uncommitted, that suggested payback. I may be off base to have questioned (in my mind) why a truly undecided would caucus, but these in my caucus only wanted to hear/talk negatives about both candidates, avoided me like the plague and every one went for Obama.

I believe this. I know from a Republican who told me last year that they were gathering their base to vote for Obama because they wanted him on thwe ticket not Hillary. They were going to register as Democrats or Independents just so they could vote for Obama, only to vote for the Republican candidate in November. Please people wake up and smell the coffee!!!!! The Republicans are outsmarting the Democrats again!!!!

TWO QUESTIONS. HOW MUCH MONEY ARE WE OWED BY FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS? WILL THE AMOUNT BE ENOUGH TO COVER HEALTH CARE, BUSINESS STIMULAS, AND FREE CABLE? LETS GET PAID(BACK), BEFORE WE START NEW COSTLY VENTURES. WHICH CANDIDATE CAN HANDLE THAT DAY-ONE IS MY CONCERN. P.S. WHO'S MORE TRUTHFULL? OBAMA(U R CORRECT SIR) DANCER

I think it is very interesting that Hillary has accepted the fact that she is not favored among highly educated people, so she concentrates her efforts on those who have experienced so little education in our country that they don't even speak our language !!!! Are the Hispanics all thinking they are going to get free health care if they vote for her?

If Obama won the presidency and bombed on lack of experience in the 1st term it could be the only thing that would revive the evangelicals and or republican party after Bush. I can't understand this get behind a new idea that really isn't new.. the only real thing that he could do after all the Pie in the Sky is be a huge flop or deemed less than successful.

  • Posted By: iamjamie0303 @ 02/13/2008 7:48:23 PM

hey much2concern...your logic is so perfect!!!!!! what about president Bush ? he is not emotional at all but he *** up the U.S. for 10 years~ooh~~ good job!!!!

Hillary made the mistake of voting for the war in Iraq, experience or not. Obama didn't, which, in my humble opinion, speaks volumes.

    • Posted By: Wa Dem @ 02/13/2008 5:32:10 PM

Since Obama was not in fact a Senator when the war vote came up how is this relevant? This is just one of the oft repeated comments that frustrate me. People seem to think he voted no on the war but he wasn't a Senator until 05 well after the vote was taken.

      • Posted By: Afro Goddess @ 02/13/2008 7:47:24 PM

And Obama didn't vote against any requests from Bush for funding of this war, which in affect means he supported the war.

BTW, Obama voting "present" speaks volumes too!

This "Hillary was for the war" b.s. is typical Republican propoganda. And you falling it says so much more about how easily they can get your head than anything else.

I don't know what the U.S.A. is thinking!!! What is wrong with people, don't they know Hillary is the best for the job, Obama is muslin, and we don't need that, he would not even pledge our flag, or put his hand across his heart, who wants a person like that for president. Surely not me, Hillary all the way, wake up AMERICA!!!!!!!

  • Posted By: skylettew @ 02/13/2008 7:40:35 PM

I think that Obama is the answer that we as a people have been waiting for it's so funny how people are quick to bring up your past but never say great job for making something of you self Obama would be a great leader because he is able to get to the younger people i am 19 yrs old college student and i find that i like and agree with Obama and the type of change he is trying to bring to the USA I AM PRO OBAMA

    • Posted By: myphlegma @ 02/13/2008 7:45:12 PM

Get out in the world for awhile and you'll see how useless an Obama presidency would be; the guy has never had a job other than to do a little law practice for some rich friends and file some civil rights lawsuits. We'd need to vote in a GOP majority to keep him from taxing us out of existence. Once you're out of school working full-time you'll be increasingly disgusted with the amount of tax you pay for more bureaucracy. Bareback Obama has never been in a position of having to watch his cash, so he'll pursue useless social programs regardless of the cost to the taxpayers.

You people really need to learn how to read! Hillary and bill have been fighting there whole lives for america, how long has obama been doing it for? When the clintons were in office, business thrived, people made livings, look now at the forclosure rates and and look at it when clinton was in office, after he had to fix everything for bush and regan! you idiots elected one moron into office for 8 year you will do it again!!

Hillary 08' one clinton cleaned up after a bush we need another in office to do the same!

    • Posted By: Afro Goddess @ 02/13/2008 7:44:01 PM

The problem is that folks keep "potential" voting. Folks once upon a time supported Bush, a guy they could have a beer with (not really!), an airforce pilot (nice jumpsuit, but didn't you run from the fighting?), and a cowboy (richest cowboy I've ever seen).

Now they want to vote for Obama, the Great Black Hope, the rockstar, the 2nd coming of MLK/JFK! Obama somehow is going to save America from itself. He's going to magically end racism, bring change (doesn't life just do that naturally), and give us all hope.

I just think folks are so tired of the B.S. with this current administration that they want some savior, some Captain Save a Nation. Obama represents easy and Hillary represents hard. I can see why folks are convinced about Obama, I just don't think they are being realistic.
