It is FREE to register and vote for the next president, thus most people take it as a free lottery ticket where they randomly bubble in the numbers they want to pick based on "my lucky" number or whatever was closest to the pencil at that split second.
If voters actually took the time to study the candidates and vote based on an informed decision, Bush would not be in office, and the best candidate would be the next president.
If we actually took voting as carefully as selecting the next car will buying (while thinking "it better be a good one since I'll be paying for it during the next four years at least."), then we would elect who was really the best representative of our needs.
I'm not gonna close my eyes and hear how their words sound and see which one moves me more or make me feel "free". I'm not gonna listen and believe what they say because words flow better out of their mouth. If I was looking for a church then I would probably pick the one with the best orator... he/she who can transmit the message better. I'm not looking for an inspirational speaker either or one who is gonna promise me everything I need.
Instead we should do our own research and find out who's done what for this country while in office and who is more deserving of such great job in this country and for the world.
Before you start hating on Hillary for forgiving her husband's deceit, understand what her situation was. Before you write Obama off your choice because he won't pledge allegiance to the flag, find out what really happened.
For all the young voters, take the time to really understand what's at stake... do your homework! everyone!! and may the best man/woman win.
