Its interesting that almost every racist and intolerant remark made about Senator Obama concludes with a "Vote for Hillary" plea. Are these the kind of people supporting Hillary? If so, no wonder Obama is sweeping the floor with her! Hillary can't even congratulate the man after he wins or publicly thank or acknowledge her supporters and volunteers that worked so hard for her in the states she lost. Its becoming more and more apparent that Hillary is just power hungry. Apparently some of her supporters are feeding off their candidate's lack of class. Thankfully, Obama has raised the bar in terms of class and mutual respect in this election which is exactly what this country needs.

THE CARPET BAGGER'S PLAN FOR THE PRESIDENCY
Step 1 Establish residency in upscale, democratic, hand picked district of New York
Step 2 Run for senate in state you haven't lived in but gives you best shot at winning.
Step 3 Win senate seat on husband's coat tails WHILE STILL LIVING IN D.C.
Setp4 Wait for the right time to run for the real prize.
Step 5 Announce that "certain states don't really matter when running for the real prize".
Step 6 Make everyone believe that 24 years since someone other than Bush or Clinton occupied the white house is change.

I' guessed i missed something along the way. Maybe the people on here can help. What is Obama's religion? Does he believe in Jesus Christ our savior? Does he like or dislike egypt? I think this would help the lower income white women out here. Because we not only look at the political issue we look at the religious issue .We are not prejudice as one of you commented were just not informed . I also would like to point out he is black and white . God Bless

to worryvoter: So you think Barack is all talk - well you need to do your homework especially if you will change from a democrat to a republican now that scares me. Barack has always fought for what was right and unless you fall into the rich category than maybe you are a hard core republican who cares nothing about the low and middle class. I am middle class and what is going on in our country today is devasting. If Hillary wins the nomination MaCain will beat her. Barack is about change and I will go with him all the way. Don't worry Hillary will continue to work with him and she will be great as a New York Senator.

"Bareback" Obama has never had a job...that's what's really scary about him. He's practiced law from some wealthy friends and filed some civil rights related lawsuits, but that's about it. McCain is awful, but I'd take him over Bareback so long as there's a Democrap controlled congress to keep him in check.

And the fun continues. . I'm no math wiz, but the #'s overwhelmingly support the fact that without the African-American voters, Obama would not even be in this race.

Why will I not for for Obama?

    1. Where is his experience?
    2. I don't want a preacher in office. His cadence is that of a Sunday sermon-giver, and that does not speak to the entire populace.
    3. We are in so many messes.. how can this 1 hit wonder help us now, immediately?
    4. I'm not a star-F***er.. celebrity dazzle doesn't inspire me.

    WAKE UP PEOPLE

    • Posted By: calif4ever @ 02/13/2008 5:52:56 PM

I totally agree with you on the Sunday morning sermon comment. That is one thing I couldn't shake in watching him. I want someone that I know will listen to us and our concerns. I want someone that has the experience and knowledge that bring this country together and turn the government around and I believe Hillary will do that.

    • Posted By: Ponzi @ 02/13/2008 1:02:13 PM

That is as silly an argument as saying Hillary wouldn't be in the race if it were not for female voters. It is also inaccurate, unless you consider Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, and Minnesota new strongholds for black voters. Obama won each of these handily, including a 5-1 margin in Idaho and 2-1 margins in Colorado, Kansas, and Minnesota.

      • Posted By: krock @ 02/13/2008 1:18:27 PM

Interesting how people can only jump on the RACE comment. Where is the hard data? His policies? His actual PLAN? His EXPERIENCE?

I am so sick of this racial bias. And I am a proud woman with a racially diverse background, who breaks the $100k threshold. By the media calculations, I should be an O-supporter.

LOL. Just because you see black folks voting you ignorant people are in shock and running for the hills. Excuses, excuses. Obama is the right person for the White House whether he's black or blue. Keep falling into Hillary's propaganda of using race and other retarded excuses on why she keeps losing the primaries and caucases.

The Political System is broken. If you want to see how this all realy boils down, start asking you congressmen and congresswomen about 9-11 and the building 7, stop paying taxes and ask to see the law that requires you to do so. Stop fiddling with your I-Pod and drinking Coke and realize that the rate of juvenile cancer has shot through the roof since the introduction of non-stick cookery and that they still teach our children that Washington discovered America.

Obama and Clinton. It's a choice between two evils because they are part of a system that rewards money and power and playing by a set of very different rules. I will vote Obama because Che is dead and Ron Paul can't win. Emotion aside, I will hold my president accountable for his actions. If Obama doesn't do something worth my vote I will excuse myself from a broken system and move to Europe.

P.S. - Christianity is lie to control scared people.

I wish it was possible for people of this country not to judge others by their race alone. Only the Native Americans were born here. The News media doesn't help by trying to breakdown how people vote and who is voting when they aren't behind the closed booth. I'm a survivor of the Civil Rights Movement of the 60's, but there are too many racist in this country to ever be a nation of FREE peoples. If Bush could be President for eight years, my five-year old great-grandson could do the job as well!

    • Posted By: bgsosebee @ 02/13/2008 5:41:46 PM

You're right on that but, tell me does he believe in Jesus Christ our savior? That would help me vote. I don't care about color and don't think most of white does either. I think its because we really don't know much about his religion. I've heard he doesn't like the holy land true or false. Thanks for any help you can give the white people you call prejudice.

      • Posted By: radagast_23 @ 02/13/2008 5:52:39 PM

Yes, Obama is a member of the largest congregation in the United Church of Christ, and in his own words, a committed Christian. That does not mean a CONSERVATIVE Christian of course, belief in Christ does not equal being conservative -- let us not forget that there are, even today, about an equal number of liberals that profess Christ as there are conservatives, despite the media hype. He is Christian however.

African American Males were allowed to Vote BEFORE White Women! there is a good chance that we might Have a African American President before we have a Woman President!

Hi MaxinMaryland- I am so proud of your comments: You say you are a republican who will vote for Obama this is exactly what we need more republicans to stand up and say enough is enough just look at our economy and the loss of jobs, the college tuitions, the home foreclosers. I can keep going. For the most part I understand that most republicans might be wealthy and all but to continue to get rich off the backs of working middle class is low. We need change and fast. Please help spread the word we can make a difference NOW.

  • Posted By: READY FOR CHANGE @ 02/13/2008 5:52:18 PM

I DONT UNDERSTAND SOME OF YOU PEOPLE YOU SAY HILLARY CLINTON IS THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR CHANGE BUT HOW IS THAT WHEN WE ALREADY HAD ONE CLINTON IN OFFICE WHO WAS IMPEACHED. BUSH CLINTON BUSH CLINTON WHERE IS THE CHANGE. WHY PUT SOMEONE IN OFFICE WHO FLIP FLOPS HER AWNSERS JUST TO GET THE VOTE. IF YOU REMEBER WHEN SHE WAS ASKED IF SHE WAS FOR DRIVER LICSENSE FOR IMIGRANTS SHE SAID NO BUT THEN WHEN SHE VISITS A LATINO ESTABLISHMENT SOMEONE YELLED OUT MY WIFE IS ILLEGAL SHE SAYS THERE ARE NO ILLEGAL PEOPLE THERE R JUST PEOPLE. OR WHAT ABOUT HER BAD JUDGEMENT ON THE WAR IN IRAQ WHICH SHE STILL CANNOT ADMIT THAT SHE WAS WRONG FOR. LOOK UP HER AND PETER MOORE AND SEE THE KIND OF CROOK SHE IS AND SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY DO SHE HAVE TO HAVE SET QUESTIONS (QUESTIONS THAT WERE SETUP TO ASK) TO MAKE HERSELF LOOK GOOD. IM READY FOR CHANGE BUT IM AM NOT READY TO LIVE IN THE PAST CAUSE THAT IS WHAT WE ALL HAVE BEEN DOING I CANT EVEN REMEMBER THE LAST TIME THERE WAS NOT A BUSH OR A CLINTON WHO WAS IN OFFICE OR TRYING TO GET IN OFFICE AND AMERICA OR SOME OF AMERICA ARE ALRIGHT WITH THAT. PEOPLE R DYING IN A WAR THAT HAD NO REASON TO BE STARTED AND SOME OF YOU RATHER VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO VOTE HELPED IT GET STARTED PEOPLE WAKE THE HELL UP THE TIME IS NOW WHO KNOWS WHEN A PURE CANINDATE WILL COME AROUND AGAIN.

Comment: Will someone please tell me what experience Hillary Clinton has?? Just because she was married to the president it gives her experience??!! My wife is married to a welder, does that give her welding experience? She didn't do a thing when her husband cheated on her and then lied about it, so I guess it's okay?! What has Clinton shown , please you say she can do the job, but where is the facts to back this up. And don't even start on the deficit, Bill's account did some fancy figuring and creative math to balance the budget, supposedly. Then 1 month later Bush has a trillion dollar deficit. Hardly. Granted Bush has been mediocre at his best. Do you really think another Clinton is best for this country? Think about this, The same 2 families have been trying to run this country since 1988. That is 20 years in case your math is bad. Enough of both families, get some new blood in there. Plus if you really want to fix things?, let's start by getting rid of some of the congresspersons!! Charles40a

I've studied JFK's first 2 years as a president and it was a disaster! I know everyone likes to "feel good" about who we vote for, but that is how Bush got relected in 2004 with the largest vote count in 20+ years. Let's stop the feel good voting and count on Hillary to be able to get things fixed quick. I can't afford to pay for Obama's learning curve. I want things cleaned up now!

    • Posted By: myphlegma @ 02/13/2008 5:51:11 PM

Good point...it was JFK who got us into Viet Nam, however LBJ was worse. "Great Society" was just another name for "Welfare State".

It's interesting that the 2 worst presidents in recent history were from Texas (Bush and LBJ)

I have been reading everyone???s comment and completely disagree that experience is the key. How can you truly prepare to be president after the mess that Bush has done. I don???t think that even the most experienced person can fix the mess that the ???president??? has done. I believe that MOTIVATION is the key. If you have the will and the fight to take on the challenge then why not. No one can do a worse of a job then Bush!!!. Experience what does that really mean. Clinton has so called has experience??? Did her experience lead her to vote for the Iraq war? What experience does she really have? Being the wife of the president does not give you experience. Obama has done more legislative time then Clinton. Look it up it is true! Both became Senators during the same time as well. I just can???t find this experience that everyone keeps referring too. Do you hire a person who has the ???experience??? but not the motivation or will to do the job right or do you hire a person who has the fight, will, and competence to make decisions that will help the world? If Clinton wins the nomination then John McCain will be president because they vote exactly the same and there is truly no difference between them. In fact I would rather see John McCain as president then Clinton any day. Just my opinion.

I think we should just pick someone that will get us out of the hole george W. bush has put us in. In my opinion, I don't think Hillary Clinton can get us out. I think that she will make the hole deeper.

  • Posted By: aymscorpio @ 02/13/2008 5:50:47 PM

scirll07, why do you thingk that Hillary has a better chance at winning than Obama? I think Obama has a great chance. He is going across gender and race lines to actually bring this country together as one. He is focusing on the next generation so that each generation doesn't clean up after the next. I think he qualifies. He has been in legislature longer than Hillary. Hillary wants to count her husband's years in office as her time in office.

We may have one of the following presidents in the upcoming general elections:
1- the oldest ever candidate to be a president of USA
2- the 1st ever woman president of USA
3- the 1st ever African American and the 3rd youngest president of USA (after JFK, and Teddy Roosevelt)

    3-

    .

    - all three of them are patriots...
    - all 3
