If you vote you need to thank Hillary Clinton that it will be counted. Senators Clinton and Boxer(CA) and Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones unveiled a major election reform bill in Feb. 2005. The Count Every Vote Act of 2005 makes certain that every voter that shows up to vote can cast their vote and it will be counted. Hillary cares about Americans and works toward solution. Give Hillary your support and cast your ballot for her.

What I want to know is how, with alllllll this important experience she has staked as most important, did she not have a plan for after Super Tuesday, especially with the surprise of Iowa? If she can seriously underestimate her current opponent, can anybody afford to have her underestimate the considerable opponents she's sure to run into as Madame President? I don't think so. Good night, Mrs. Clinton, you're a remarkablew woman but not the right person for these times.

I am a black American who was born in Jamaica, WI. I have been a citizen of this great United States of America for over 30 years and love this country (wouldn't live anywhere else). The first and last time I voted was for former Bill Clinton. I am voting again for Obama because he brings excitement to the political arena and yes he brings us Hope. I have never been so excited about politics before. It's not because Obama is black, it's because he is enthusiastic, he generates energy and I can't help but suddenly feel Alive and Well in America. I believe Obama will use his oratory to fight wars not guns and hatred for others who look different or have different views.

It's too bad you didn't cite a SINGLE policy issue of Obama's on which you agree. The problem with America is that there are too many people voting on FEELING instead of thinking issues through.

I will not vote for anyone that doesn't think that we are the greatest country in the world and we can deport all of the ILLEGAL immigrants, that cost this nation workers billions in lowered wages and welfare handouts.

All i can do is laugh at all these Obama haters. Sounds like there are alot of bitter people on this board. Thank goodness you are in the minority with your petty rants and character attacks. Soon, this country will move forward with a new majority of progressive Americans with or without you. This election is about the past vs. the future! Keep it up Obama, you have my support 100%!

I like Obama as a person, but that doesn't mean he's qualified to be President. All I've heard is a lot of cute little sound bites and no real policy statements. In any case, anyone who wants to grow government and take more of MY money and give it to more OTHER PEOPLE doesn't have my vote.

We may have one of the following presidents in the upcoming general elections:
1- the oldest ever candidate to be a president of USA
2- the 1st ever woman president of USA
3- the 1st ever African American and the 3rd youngest president of USA (after JFK, and Teddy Roosevelt)

    3-

    .

    - all three of them are patriots...
    - all 3

I think republicans are salivating at the prospect of Obama over Clinton, but are holding their cards close to the vest. Bashing Hillary serves two purposes: weakening her and diverting attention from the issue of Barak???s lack of experience and gravitas that McCain will exploit. I laugh at republicans on TV saying they will be energized against Hillary, as if we have not seen over a year apathy and dejection over the prospect. I visualize McCain holding his breath, fearing people will catch on that Obama is his best hope of winning. But, of course now is not the optimal time to reveal just how Barak will be diminished and made to look less than presidential. McCain would love democrats to get rid of the strongest candidate! Without Clinton universal health care as an issue will be minimal, she trounces McCain on economic issues and Hillary will not be tagged as weak and naive on international affairs and terrorism.
If health care is not mandated the legislation will fail. Republicans will argue a cost cutting alternative knowing partisan politics and compromise will gut any plan once the principle of universality is relinquished. Clinton is the only one who can drive it through.
Who is going to be swayed across party lines if UHC looks DOA, Obama is challenged on the economy and McCain takes the commander in chief mantle.

As a young voter I may not be as well versed in the political field as others; however, when looking for a canidate to vote for I seek inspiration. I find neither inspiration nor any aspect of dramatic reform in Hillary Clinton. I believe that is why she is so behind Obama in the race for young voters. Many people have had a lot of experience in politics like Bush however many would say that he has not fared well as president. At this point i think the voters care more about a promise of change and if the person is believable or not how many years they have been a senator.

HIllary has experience being a liar and cheat

  • Posted By: ronhelf @ 02/13/2008 5:28:32 PM

Let's see now what is Hillary experienced at? Oh yes voting to allow Bush to go to war in Iraq. Now gee that's the kind of experience I want from a middle of the road, fence sitting, old style politician...Please, can I have some more? Give me that old time Democrat Hillary Clinton rhetoric about doing something for the poor which hides a track record of doing little for the poor and a lot for corporate wealthfare takers. Amen.

the only reason she voted for the war is because like the rest of them MISINFORMATION BY THE BUSH administation, her constituancy wanted it after all she represents the people of new york and like everyone else at that time politics of FEAR

I too have voted democratic my whole life, but should Obama get the party nomination I will vote republican for the first time ever. Obama is flowery and poetic but I don't see him as our leader.

Hillary still hasn't found her sticking grounding voice. Obama has (change). Clintons changes as the election changes. Now back to the attacks. People keep saying all he has is hope. NOT TRUE. He has outlined his plans just as every one else. One difference.. He hopes to be able to bring about a coalitionof people to effect change and that is the key. All the plans in the world won't work if you can't bring about the coalition to effect change. It's a new day and new time. Let's all work togethet for the improvement.. Thanks for this forum to express.

We again have an awful set of candidates. My choice right now is McCain with a Democratic controlled congress to keep him in check. That scenario is likely to result in the least amount of damage over the next 4 years.

The biggest concern about "Bareback" Obama is that he's never held a job. He's practiced a little law for some wealthy friends and filed some civil rights related lawsuits but that's about all. If he's elected he's sure to try to raise taxes and implement a huge healthcare infrastructure that will cost the taxpayers dearly for years to come. If he wins then we need to elect a GOP controlled congress to keep him in check otherwise it will be just like the Bush years - an incompetent coddled kid with a rubber stamp congress doing serious damage to the nation.

Barack Obama is the best candidate for this country, Both party should rally around Obama and work together to make this promise land as a model heaven for the world to follow, I know he will bring the world together peacefully, War should be the very last resort, Time to get rid of the old victorian way of living, We are going forward in peace and love.

    • Posted By: osteoguy @ 02/13/2008 5:45:05 PM

War SHOULD be a last resort. Obama said he'd attack Pakistan.

Wow, I guess there's going to be a full moon tonight the nuts are out in full force! First of all you morons, Barack Obama is not a muslim, his father was a non-practicing muslim who didn't even raise him. He was raised by his white mother and white grandparents. His mother was a non-practicing Christian, Barack is a practicing Christian. Whatever issues you have with his name is something beyond his control. He didn't choose that name, he was named after his father. Do you think he came out of the womb shouting give me a muslim name? There are many people who have names that may or maynot reflect who they are and how they live their lives. His mother was named Stanley Ann Dunham, because her father wanted a son so bad he decided to name his daughter after himself. Do you think she liked that name? Most people called her Ann instead. Do your research instead of making yourselves look like ignorant a**holes and speaking on things you know nothing about. And one idiot made a comment about Barack not being able to relate to people of other races. Again, another asinine statement. His mother's other child is half indonesian, he went to school in Indonesia and Hawaii, his mother was white!!! His grandparents are white!! He had more multicultural experienc growing up than most, you retards.

Thank you! Well said! But dont be surprised if most of these less enlightened (and less informed) ones dont understand or listen. They are operating on an emotional spin that is out of control and like oil in water, prejudice and fear rises to the top.

I agree with camcali, I also voted for Hillary and feel that Obama seems like a nice man, but not sure if he can accomplish what Hillary can. If Hillary goes up against Mc Cain Democrats have a chance, if Obama does Democrats will lose once again. I hope I am wrong... but I don???t think so.
