My vote goes to Barack Obama he is fresh and I believe he wants to make a difference. He knows he will be held accountable. Look at our country today folks it's not good. We need to stand up for CHANGE right now. As I do admire what Clinton feels she can bring to the table. I don't want the risk I will vote for change and that's Obama. We have a lot to lose here. If Hillary won the repubicians will eat her up. Look at the polls it is clear that if Obama wins the nomination he will defeat McCain. Let's unite as brother's and sister's and rally behind him, if not we will pay the consquences when McCain wins the white house.

Here's a woman that really cares about America. She has not and will not give up! All of the women haters out there need to realize we are stronger than you think! I wish women would get more credit, but because of religious believes or just plain prejudice beliefs we are always going to pass judgement. It's very sad when in my in my opinion, we are not much different than countries that don't respect women. All of you men out there need to realize that it took a women to bring you into this world and have a little respect- even if you're mother was a ***- She had a right to to be, because you're a son of a-

And what do you think a person with the name like Barrack Hussien Obama have for the agenda of US citizens or for whites or asians or hispanics, for that matter? Obama's only agenda is to have control of the US so that terrorist can have easy access to the United States.

What does his name have to do with anything? He was named after his father, he didn't choose the name you moron. And his mother is white, his half-sister's is half indonesian, he's lived in Hawaii and Indonesia, he has been exposed and raised in a more multicultural environment than any politician I know of. Educate yourself before you speak on things you know nothing about.

I dont need him to prove it if he becomes president. if he even can. we dont need to take that chance! thats why obama will not get my vote and theres nothing he can do to change that. I want someone in the white house that CAN and WILL! make a change for today and tomorrow. We need hillary!!!

What I want to know is how, with allllll the experience that's supposed to mean so much, could she underestimate her opponent's obvious possibilities past Super Tuesday, after the surprise upset in Iowa. Nobody can afford for her to underestimate the opponents she'll run into in the next four years. Mrs. Clinton, you are a remarkable woman, but not the right woman to be first in the White House or the right person for this job in these times.

Barack Obama is not a muslim. Go and re-read snopes you idiot. Obama is a Christian. Where are your Christian ethics? You are a false witness.

Bill Clinton at this time is getting all his millionare buddies together to put an independent campaign together to skirt the $2300 dollar limit. They do not know how to be honest its not in their heart. We need a candidate that can stand on his own two feet. Ive seen Billary gate-the two headed monster long enough!! Say good by Billary!!!

  • Posted By: DBDimes @ 02/13/2008 5:18:49 PM

Is it "I" or "WE"? Clinton use the word "I" over and over again; Obama uses the word "WE". Clinton considers the government hers while Obama seems to be ready to share government with the people. Clinton has had seven plus years to introduce her "many great ideas and opportunities for America", why has she not done so?

if it is possible, i would vote for both

Issues and ideas have taken a back seat to the horse-race! No one is talking about what they want just who.

Obama has equated Hillary's plan with "bridging back to the 20th century", if he was talking about the early 1900s then I would worry. He's actually talking about the mid to late 90s and I do remember those being great years. It wasn't until around 2000-2001 when the economy crumbled and if that iw what the 21st century is all about, I would rather go back to the 20th century. Obviously the good things that have come out of this first decade of the 21st century are not gonna revert, but if last century's politics and policy-making are what we go back to, then we'll be better off. Bill Clinton was not just popular for his words (as Obama is now), but for what he did with this country and foreign policy.... I went to Europe in 2004, nobody was the least thrilled to talk to American tourists, thanks to W. Bush... Hillary NOW, Obama later!

And the sheep continue to line up behind Obama. You idiots who vote the race ticket for a brotha in the White House are going to be sorely surprised when Mr. "Hope for Change" abandons you all for the special interest groups that have been funding his campaign all along. The Republican candidate will tear him to pieces if he is the Democartic nominee. Hope you enjoy four more years of Republican rule!

    • Posted By: HolyRoller @ 02/13/2008 3:49:27 PM

As a Repub/, I am astonished at the support for Hussein Obama. Do the idiots supporting him not understand the GOP's glee at his popularity? While I am certainly not a Hillary supporter, I do believe that she loves our country. I for one don't look forward to the nastiness that is coming if Hussein gets the nomination. The GOP will not worry about political correctness. NO TO MOHAMMED!!!

      • Posted By: cruise15 @ 02/13/2008 4:09:52 PM

If the best you can do is call him names, I hope this isn't a true representation of the Republican party. Wow!

        • Posted By: luznuts @ 02/13/2008 5:18:06 PM

has the republican party fallen off the heels of America or what? Is this the best they can muster, lowering themselves to the likes of name calling and........the best yet......the terrorist names......For God's Sake you would think were still in the sixties.......You're a communist!

Look folks.......change is a matter of opinion and what is in the heart. That is where it starts. Experience is great....but the tendency leads to past practice, and playing it safe. Playing it safe is a conservative reaction to change, most people are afraid of change and would never step outside their circle of comfort, for fear of retribution and embarrassment. Change means education and prowess.

I'm an Independent with both left and right views....... I liked Bill clinton, however I did not support his answer of defining sexual relations? And i would of supported Hillary for dumping her beau for cheating on her. I think she would of been more natural if she came in this election more surreal, wiht the normal bumbs in life and not this nostalgic that those in power are living white picket fence fairytales. I want a canidate that has some real life scars...that is more middle America, not from the top elite. Give me life and liberty from the people that make this country whom it is.....and i will support those that are genuine to the core....not those that portary the utopian lifestyle!

      • Posted By: Opinionated_1 @ 02/13/2008 5:15:22 PM

First of all Barack Obama is not a muslim. Educate yourself before you speak and make an a** of yourself but speaking foolishness as if it is the truth. His father was a non-practicing muslim who wasn't even around to raise him. He was raised by his white non-practicing christian mother, but he is a practicing christian. And if you don't know anything about what his policies are go to his website and read up on it, don't expect to be spoon fed as a grown man. You are truly ignorance personified.

Stella Oliveros, that's the problem, the Hillary people think the Obama supporters are dumb and they are the smart ones. Obama economic and health plan are as good as Hillary. Take off your blinders!

    • Posted By: Afro Goddess @ 02/13/2008 5:17:26 PM

The problem with Obama's healthcare plan is that it isn't mandatory. America needs mandatory healthcare! Its not "universal healthcare" if you just lower the cost but don't make it mandatory. What's the difference between our current healthcare plan right now and Obama's other than lower costs? Gosh, other countries have put this into place already and yet we'd rather put someone in office because they want to "stick it to the ol' lady" than to look at what Obama is really bringing to the table.

Mc Cain will make mince meat during debates with Obama, .He is arrogant and self serving.
He doesn't want more debates with Clinton because he knows this is is weak area. HE CLAIMS THIS ISN'T ABOUT RACE. Give me a break, he started off his campaign behind
Oprah's skirts to support "the BROTHER". If he was attacked by the media lke Clinton has been from day one, you can be sure the NAACP would be hollering foul because he is Black.
By the way he gloats about the millions of contributions he receives compared to her. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out he has the wealthy contributers, she has the hard working slob trying to keep their heads above water and struggle to back her with what they can afford after they pay their bills and put food on the table. By the way what happened to her win in New Mexico?

It's unBELIEvable how IGNORANT these comments are! But I guess politics and religion, the divisive catalysts that they are, brings that out in people immersed in their own ego and narrow minded thinking! At the end of the day, we will all see what happens regardless of ridiculous theories on race, gender and age. Much less the fear of terrorism because Obama carries an African name (give me a BREAK).....it reminds me of the Boondocks eposide where they imagined what the world would be like and how it would have reacted if MLK, after being shot, only went into a coma for 35 years and did NOT die. Great and controversial writing in that it took the assumption of many of these comments on this board about race, gender and "theatre" (which by the way is a part of politics). They showed the youth blowing MLK off and the adults heavy on criticism and negativity, that the way of peace was "old school" and not relevant, etc. I find for a society that has so much, actually has so little in that which has value, vision, compassion and intergity. The people have always rejected the great ones while they lived in their era or time (i.e., Jesus, Van Gogh, MLK..) and only in looking back receive any respect.......there always seems to be more haters when change is about to come...but when it does and it is good....there still will be haters who will remain in their comfortable ignorance to their graves. I believe evolution come through our children........

Has everyone forgetten the scandel after scandel the Clinton's were involved with during the "Clinton years"?
If that is what is in our future, forget it. I'd rather take a chance with someone else than to ever vote for the
Clinton machine again, I made that mistake before. She promised healthcare reform during the Clinton administration, and guess what, she was not able to deliver. She would like to allow embryonic stem cell research when adult stem cell research could do the same thing and save the lives of the innocent unborn. Yea Hillary, lets add those dead among the already millions aborted each year. Who cares if she is a woman, she is the wrong woman for the job. She still promotes a culture of death and that is not a person we want in the Whitehouse.

Let's just be real here. You guys are just not ready for a black president. When I listen to Obama speak I don't hear JFK or Martin Luther King. I hear Barack. When Barack talks about change he means let's get a new administration in and see what value they can add to the country. Yes Bill Clinton was great, but they had their time. The Clinton's and the Bush's are passing the white house around like a joint. This is ridiculous! Yes We Can! I voted Obama in Illinois and I will continue to support him.............

Hillary has been a part of the Washington bunch for over 15 yeas; the same bunch that has almost destroyed our quality of life, our economy, and our good name throughout the world. We do not need her kind of experience sitting in the White House. Obama has been in Washington long enough to know and understand the ways of Washington but not long enough to have become a part of the long established Washington circus! Clinton has had 7+ years to introduce her ???many good ideas and opportunities for America???; why has she not already done so? She has been trying for 15 years to get health plan passed but has not been able to get democratic or republican support for it!
