What president does have experience. Let's be real, you guys are just not ready for a black president! When I listen to Barack Obama speak I don't hear JFK or Martin Luther King. I hear Barack and when he speaks of change he means let's try another administration and see how they can impact our country. Yes I agree Bill Clinton was a great president, but his time is over. The Bush's and the Clinton's are passing the white house around like a joint. This is ridiculous. YES WE CAN!

Senator Obama, who voted for billions of dollars to be allocated for the war in Iraq, keeps on saying: "I'll make mistakes", his wife said: "He'll make mistakes". If he becomes president, he' ll say: "Well, I told you I'd make mistakes"... I am extremely concerned about this. Young voters are empowered which is great. But, they would vote for a young, cool looking guy, instead of someone who reminds them of their mother. The psychology of this, does not compute with what's at stake. I actually happen to like Obama and his speaking abilities. Unfortunately, I know deep inside that he is NOT READY. That has worked for him too, because there is nothing to "scrutinize". I would actually like to vote for Obama in 8 years from November. Now every Hillary supporter has been giving contributions with "44" in them, from $10.44 to $2,299.44.
Meanwhile McCain is already targeting Obama's lack of experience, his cockiness and obnoxious ways. What is he going to have to say, when 35 years of experience, the right policies, CHANGE with experience and a heart, come to hit him, his old, worn out ways, his bad temper and constant outbursts of anger comes November?
Keep on blogging and telling people to donate to Hillary's campaign. Thank you!

I'm a young Black woman who voted for Hillary and it was based on everthing important: policy and experience. Obama is a great guy, and yes, he'd make a better President than Bush (how low our standards are these days), but there's something about Hillary. She's a wonk and I appreciate that. I don't want to gamble on the next 4 to 8 years. I want a sure thing. Obama would make a perfect VP, but not a President.

Charisma, good speaches, and an almost spotless political background will only get you so far with me. I prefer my Presidents just a lil dirty, like they've been through the wringer and are still fighting. I like that I can see through Hillary and Bill. I'm not impressed with Obama's jedi mind tricks; he promises you the world, but can he really deliver? Its never been proven.

I'll vote for Obama if he makes it to the general election. Not because he's a Democrat (don't feel those punk @sses 80% of the time), but because he'd make a better president than McCain. But I'll only vote for Obama when Hillary is completely out of the picture.

'Cause Hillary is gansta, the epitomy of "Ain't Never Skird!" and I like her all the better for it!

I read one supposed Democrat state that if Obama gets the nod that it will force him/her to vote for McCain. Come on, the Republicans haven't had a fresh idea in decades. Listening to the staid and plain McCain spout the usual Republican mantra of small government and tax cuts is sickening. When was the last time a Republican shrank the size of government or the deficit for that matter. The only thing the Republicans have mastered is shrinking the tax burden of the wealthy, and let's us not forget countless witch hunts of Democratic Presidents. So, I am willing to take a calculated risk on Obama and side with his intellect over his limited experience. Please join me in doing so.

I remember Germany... A man can out of nowhere, led a wave of people, grabbbed a nation.People were falling all over themselves..He wanted change.. His Name was Adolph Hilter...least we forget we are domed to repeat.

Its one thing for people to think you are an idiot but its another when you open your mouth, it removes all doubt. Its 2008, Nazism, and Communism don't scare us anymore. Ignorance does! Get an education.

You are correct, we aren't frightened by communists, Nazis, etc.... We have become too complacent. We accept socialistic philosophys which lead down the path of servitude. Sounds like you never paid attention in History class. Take your own advice and "get an education" These people who remember living in times, that you have only read about, have learned through experience in addition to formal education. Think before you criticize those who know

We do not need another Clinton in the White House. As the leader of the Free World, we need to demonstrate "democracy" in our choice for president. 12 years of Bush, anoter 12 years of Clinton! That is absurd! I must admit Hillary is as qualified as Obama, must when she claimed she is tested, did she past those tests? She only has a couple of years more than Obama as Senator, she was the wife of a president not the president. Yes she is older, that does not mean more experienced. Same was said about J. Kennedy when he was running for office. Obama is what America needs now! Someone to unitfy the country, to turn things around and most importantly someone to beat J. McCain. Hillary will never beat McCain, she and Bill have too many skeletons in their closet. They still refuse to release their income tax record - Don't you wonder why? They have a lot to hide, unlike Obama. So the best chance for the Democrats to elect a democrat president is to go with Obama. Should Hilary gets it, I will either stay home or vote for McCain.

TerrieBari....Are you kidding? You sound like a campaign worker for Hillary. When it comes to communicating, Obama is well known to be a great communicator and consensus builder. This has been acknowledged by both Republicans and Democrats, which is exactly the type of person you want communicatinbg with leaders of the world as opposed to someone who is as polarizing as Mrs. Clinton. To a man or woman people either love her or hate her (ala George Bush) not the attributes you want in a the leader of the free world. Finally Obama never touted that he voted against the war! He has factually stated that he was publicly against the war from the beginning, big difference. Get your facts and opinions straight next time before you spout them like a Hillary robot.

Are you kidding me? Hillary and Bill did more for this country then any other president out there, you people need to learn to read before you critisize someone. First time in our countries history that our national deficit was 0 thanks to bill, how do you think so many people lived and business thrived! Look at the forclosure rates now, and when bill was in office, look at them when regan was in office, you idiots elected an idiot once, and im sure you will do it again!

Rezko...I Bring it up, not to suggest Obama did anything wrong but to prove...he is the same, not different. He is a politicitian, he takes favors, he gives favors...had Rezko not been busted, what role would he have played on Obama's team. Look at Chicago and Illinois politics, do a little research and you'll see what we have to put up with.
Obama boasts he is from Chicago...anyone running for national office coming from Chicago politics, you have to wonder about their past. Look at our last Govenor, he's in jail!! If you don't know Chicago politics, your looking through rose colored glasses!!
So again, Obama didn't do anything wrong, he didn't know Rezko was a shady guy...Hmmm you have to wonder then, bad judgement on Obamas part.
Also, will everyone change their tune when Obama's wife want's to run in 8 years if he were to be elected.
Bill Clinton is one of the best Presidents we ever had...not one president can please all the people all the time.
I look at Hillary as a student of his, I judge her on her own merit, I look at Bill as a potential adviser to her.
Obamas team even consists of ex Clinton teammates.
I keep hearing the word change...Is he suggesting that a black president is CHANGE but he can't say that. Well I'll say this, having a woman president is change, Forget the color of his skin, he is still a man, you want change, vote for Hillary!!!
Bill Clinton is the original Obama with his charm etc: but he had EXPERIENCE.
Someone earlier listed Obamas accomplishments...all they were was goals he set like, graduated Harvard, became a Senator, nothing about what he accomplished for the people. He accomplished everything for himself.
Don't vote against Hillary by voting for Obama, if you are going to do that, vote for McCain, but voting for an unproven candidate...that sounds like people voting for Bush because they're republican...look at the candidate people.
If you were holding their resume's in your hands...who would you vote for, the person with credentials or the one that say's 'I hope' on it.

I completely agree with Libraman. Bill Clinton was one of the best presidents we've ever had. Okay, so perhaps his moral judgment was a bit lacking, but that didn't stop him from doing a great job. The economy thrived under him. He almost got Bin Laden. He came much closer than Bush ever has. He funded programs that really needed funding--education, putting more police officers on the street. The truth of the matter is, Bill knew how to run this country. If Hillary runs into any problems in the White House, she's got somebody there to advise her. I sleep better at night knowing that. I really, really wish people would see that Obama is a bunch of catchy slogans and clever rhetoric. I've read over his issues and read them again. I don't see a solid plan. I see lots of ideas, but with no explanation as to how he's going to put that plan into action. I have lots of great ideas and I'm very inspring, but would you elect me president, being a lesbian woman? I doubt it. And seriously, what do you think will happen if Obama runs up against Bin Laden? Will he know what to do? My fear is that he'll run away like a scared child and then we'll really be in trouble. This country is in a lot of trouble right now because of the last 7 years. We can't afford to have someone in the White House who doesn't have the experience. Chicago politics is small potatoes compared to the issues facing the next president. If Obama got his feet wet a bit more in the senate and came back in 4 years to run again, I'd probably support him.

on the comment of uglydawg7...... i disagree with u 100% What we do not need in this country is a female president. Women need to learn how to stay in their place and let men do the job that is meant for a man to do. I beleive that the reason why so many people in america are against Obama becoming president is because he has brought a challenge to this country since the beginning and that is a black man running for president. It's what america wants. Not that he is an actor or a little ironic... most of it has to do to the fact that he is black. I would be a FOOL if i voted for Clinton to be president. This country will go down if she becomes president and I pray to God that he does not allow this to happen. Women are very emotional when it comes to personal problems. How is a woman going to handle all the pressure of a country on her.....can't happen effectively!!

    Reality sucks ladies,
Listen to 5 Obama speaches and then 5 Hilary speaches over the radio, nobody likes to be reminded of their high pitched mother /or wife screaming in the backgound.

Actually the true reality: The most charismatic will be nominated, its just human nature....Obama has the height, voice, charm and the gab, etc, etc of any successful corporate manager out there.

Why was Obama the only one left out of the candidates to speak in 2002 publically against the war while everyone else gave Bush the greenlight? Was it the prudent and wise thing to do to further his political career? No, but he did it because he believed the war was fundamentally wrong. When the rest of congress was allowing Bush to run the show with his agenda of paranoia and fear, Obama had the foresight and judgement to stand against the overwhelming majority and is now vindicated.

So what does Experience count for? Isn't Experience suppose to be the guide to making the right decisions? With all of Hillary's experience she still made the wrong ones. Obama despite his lack of so called "experience" has made the right call whereas Hillary with her years of "experience" failed miserably. He has had the right Judgement from day one which in my book, beats out experience anyday. What does it matter how much experience you have if in the end you're still making the same mistakes?

The young voters should do some research before they vote They want to vote for Obama because he is black and we have never had a black person in the whitehouse. BUT read.....
Go to www.snopes.com and find out more about Barack HUSSEIN Obama. They will have something to think about.

I have always been a "registered" democrat. I am fully prepared to vote for McCain should Hillary Clinton not get the nomination of the democratic people. Somehow, I would not be surprised if Obama's surge was attributed to Republicans indirectly financing an Obama campaign, which Obama will not win because it will be known during debates with McCain of his vast lack of experience. Gee, if I were building a house, I would want an experienced carpenter. The apprentice can watch.

4 years of Bush senior, 8 years of Clinton (who lied to America and pardoned criminals he owed favors to. And then 8 years of the current Bush. We don't need 8 more of the Clinton's. That would be 28 years of the Clinton's & Bush's. Their generation is OVER. It's our time, and we like the fresh new message Obama brings. Bill & Hillary need to move on. There is a new sheriff in town.

Read it for yourself and make your own decision instead of letting your fear and insecurity lead you:

You can go here to get more information on what he is proposing: http://www.barackobama.com/issues

CLINTON v. OBAMA on LEGISLATIVE EXPERIENCE:
Senator Clinton, who has served only one full term (6yrs.), and another year campaigning, has managed to author and pass into law (20) twenty pieces of legislation in her first six years including the following:
    1. Establish the Kate Mullany National Historic Site.
    2. Support the goals and ideals of Better Hearing and Speech Month.
    3. Recognize the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
    4. Name courthouse after Thurgood Marshall.
    5. Name courthouse after James L. Watson.
    6. Name post office after Jonn A. O'Shea.
    7. Designate Aug. 7, 2003, as National Purple Heart Recognition Day.
    8. Support the goals and ideals of National Purple Heart Recognition Day.
    9. Honor the life and legacy of Alexander Hamilton on the bicentennial of his death.
    10. Congratulate the Syracuse Univ. Orange Men's Lacrosse Team on winning the championship .
These bills can be found on the website of the Library of Congress (www.thomas.loc.gov <http://www.thomas.loc.gov> ).
Now, I would post those of Obama's, but the list is too substantive, so I'll mainly categorize.
During the first (8) eight months of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced
    233 regarding healthcare reform,
125 on poverty and public assistance,
    112 crime fighting bills,
    97 economic bills,
60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,
    21 ethics reform bills,
    15 gun control,
6 veterans affairs and many others.
His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These included the following:
**the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 (became law),
**The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, (became law),
**The Comprehensive Immigration R eform Act, passed the Senate,
**The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, (became law),
**The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, (In committee), and many more.
In all since he entered the U.S. Senate, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096. An impressive record, for someone who supposedly has no legislative record.

Rather than go to a candidate's website where of course they will say nothing but wonderful things about themselves, why not go to the govt. website where senator voting records show that Obama voted "present" over SIXTY TIMES in his incredibly short tenure. www.senate.gov

Down with the Clintons - FINALLY!!! They're corrupt, manipulative, calculating lifetime politicians who stepped on many toes on the way up. Those same toes are connected to feet that are now helping to stomp on them on their way down. Good riddance.
