Perfect Game

Folks, I have watched the movie "Titanic" - maybe 10 times or more, and as I watch this HRC's campaign, I can see a fast sinking ship. It is obvious to me that she has a lot of excess baggage on this ship, and the strain of the weight is beginning to show. Although I felt turned off at her mischevious tactics together with Bill, I felt so sorry for her last night. Those near teary bags beneath her eyes showed subtle signs of stress and self doubt, and perhaps the fear of loosing her most sought after ambition. This fight is proving mush tougher and more expensive than she had anticipated.

But I worry that she seems hot headed and blinded by ambition. She never seemed to even acknowledge the few votes she got even if she lost (pride?). She keeps changing the goal posts (disingenious?), and her excuses for loosing each contest are getting pretty long for regular folks to understand. At some point she may find herself like Mitt Romney did, and would have the make the decision he was forced to make - "stop the bleed, and cut your losses".

She need not look too far for the cause of her demise. Pride and Bill did the most harm to her campaign (besides her other self inflicted wounds). Together they turned off many voters/supporters by their mostly insensitive comments, and "a divide and conquer strategy:. They took the support of long term loyalists fore granted. Voters may be silly atimes and naive like young lovers but they hate to be told so.

I only hope that HRC will find a gracious exit strategy from her fast compounding misery, and bow out while the ovation is loudest. Many people still like her for a variety of other reasons. In spite of all her mis-steps and faults, she has lifted up the spirits of many a woman in America. She may not win the Oval office, but again she really does not need to. I think she is still tough and rugged nonetheless. Her many other attributes still appeal voters like me. That she loyally stood by wild Bill when it was most difficult to do so raises her stock price in my eyes. For that reason alone, she earned my respect and admiration.

Dem party wants to succeed in the general election, so the support and endorsements began to pour in to O because those believe/feel Obama is more electable, though they know Clinton would be a better president. So this is all political games. Some people have been blindly falling into this trap thinking that they are electing the best president while they are actually voting for a more electable person so the party has more chance to win

Bill Clinton became the president after only being the "Governor" of Arkansas. Obama is a Senator and has been in Washington. He has more passion for the country and what American should stand for then any other politician I have see in my lifetime. Most politicians have great passion, unfortunately it is to become a politician or the President. I would vote for Obama only if Hillary was not on the ticket anywhere. I am a republican. I feel that Obama is the change we need in the White House and in Washington.

FTA "Henry Cisneros, the former mayor of San Antonio and a cabinet member in President Bill Clinton's administration." Is that the same Henry Cisneros who was indicted on 18 counts of conspiracy, giving false statements and obstruction of Justice and who was forced to resign from Clinton's cabinet.? (One more in the never ending list of examples of propagandists posing as journalists not telling us the whole story particularly when it comes to liberal democrats.

IS N'T IT TIME FOR THESE PEOPLE TO ANNOUNCE THEIR RUNNING MATE?. DOES IT MAKE SENSE? EITHER THAT CAN SPEED UP THIS PROCESS OF ELIMINATION, WHICH IS KILLING BOTH PARTIES OR THESE CANDIDATES CAN SIT DOWN AND TALK ABOUT CO-CANDIDACY. What would have been the basketball court was half covered with people and people were also standing because there were no more sets. Hillary's disparaging comments regarding Obama's supporters and "activists" really demonstrated to me that she is not really for change, unless that change means her and bill going back to the white house....she only cares about Big States' votes, and her condescending attitude makes me realize I will never ever get represented in another clinton presidency...sure, just like bill, the economy will eventually recover in the next four years, and she could take credit, but she will not have really changed the country, just gotten back to status quo....we need to unite this country, we are the richest nation in the world, we ALL deserve the same opportunities and dreams, education, affordable health care, and leaving the world a better place for our children....

We, in NY, have a closed primary, meaning the nation did not see that hill barely won the vote here, and would have been trounced if all of us "activists" and "independents" were permitted to participate....it is part of the reason she moved here, because she is establishment, the number of delegates, and the closed primary...talk about being ambitious....

Change is not always bad. Remember that FDR also preached change. Your comparison is irrational and downright insulting to those that still bear the scars of the Holocaust. How utterly insulting.
