    It's a shame we are still acting as if having sex is such a horrible thing. I'd much rather have a store selling condoms and vibrators to frustrated people than have them selling those people guns or knives.
    I've bought most of my "sexual aids" from online retailers simply because it's so difficult to purchase them from local businesses. All of these absurd laws being passed by the same politicians that are probably going to swingers clubs in the cover of night's shadows.
    Every girl/woman should own a vibrator or at least a really good pulsating, hand held shower head.

    I have gone into a store that dealt exclusively with sexual interests, but I don't think I'd ever be comfortable buying my vibrators from an actual store or a "passion party". I get my sex aids from www.extremrestraints.com, they send the box in a plain brown wrapping and the return address is XLC, Inc. so not even the mailman knows what is inside. When they bill you that is the same name that shows up on your statement, they are very discreet.

    Not to say I am not glad that society has come to accept that sex is a normal and acceptable part of life, I am, and I will probably go down those aisles of stores more than once just to see what they are offering, I checked out Walgreens website after reading this article - they want $120 for a mini vibe, but my personal choice is to order the products from the privacy of my own home from an affordable and discreet website.

    And society wonders what's happening to our youth......idiots......I have three daughters under the age of 10 and the t.v. is off almost 100% of the time anymore because of the trash that's on there......If I start seeing sex toys and aids pop up in Wal-Mart, or Target, or any other retail store I frequent, it will be my last visit. I'll find a more respectable establishment that still has some morals and integrity and values family.

            Right on man...I already reported him to this site. They have investigators who monitor these sites for twisted fu%*s like this. They have ways of tracking down people like this through the system, and believe me Humpty Dumpty they know what trailor your wallowing in.     Ok so... i have a 4 year old daughter. I take her shopping with me, she doesn't look at the magazines on the racks, she's too busy looking at the candy. There are people out there complaining about Cosmos and they're tips on reaching the Big O, but come on, what 3 or 4 year old is going to even have a clue what that is?? I buy those magazines and she'll say 'Mommy, that girl is pretty, huh, mommy?' , talking about the cover. She doesn't read the headlines.
    my daughter is very curious and she's is very smart and she's a child.. she has seen scenes in movies where the lead actors are kissing and she'll say "aww the mommy and daddy are kissing." She has even found my personal vibrator and she asked me what it was, and i told her what it was. Maybe she didn't understand what it's for exactly,but i answered her question. Lubricants, yes i have bought them with her sitting in the basket, and she asked me what it was. And i answered her question right there and then. Has she asked me what pads are for? Yes, and i've told her.
    Yes she is only 4 years old, but i'm not going to keep her in the dark about normal bodily functionsor the realities of life. My mother did with me, and at 14 i didn't have a clue. I was a very pretty girl. The boys at school were making comments to me that i didn't understand. I would go home and ask my mom what that meant, and she would turn red in the face and try to explain it to me. And she switched me to another school. My mom's sex talk with me was 'Don't do it.' I don't want my daughter to be as naive as i was. She's only 4 now, but she'll be 8 years old one day. I had a co-worker whose daughter started her cycles at the age of 8!!! Not that any of this has to do with lubes and vibrators, but i'm just saying that if we don't tell our children what's what, they're going to find out either way. I just think it's much healthier for them to hear it from their parents.
    I also have an 18 month old son , and when he starts getting curious and asking questions, i'm going to be as honest with him.
    As humans, we are sexual beings. Even when we are in diapers. Both of my children got curious when i would change their diapers or bathe them, and they would explore their bodies. And naturally they would notice that it 'felt good' when they would touch their genitals. That is natural curious behavior.
    But the point i'm trying to make is that, we are sexual beings. We were all concieved the same basic way. Call it whatever you want to call it, procreation, making love, knocking boots, having sex.. it's the same basic thing. A penis enters in a vagina, ejaculates, the sperm meets the egg, the egg implants in the uterine wall and VOILAH!! conception!

      If you were that naive at 14 your mother did an amazing job! Children, including your daughter should not be thinking about vibrators and sexual lubricant, and by your daughter finding such an instrument, I believe you've done an awfully poor job at protecting your daughter. How disgusting for your child to find an object that's been in your personal body parts. Did you offer it to her to play with?? If you think that your 4 year old child should not use this device for the purpose it was made; then maybe there's something wrong with it. Do you allow her to use foul language?? Watch pornography??? No, of course not, because she's too young and its not appropriate. Would you want her to paly with your vibrator ant your next family gathering?? No...because it's not appropriate, are you getting the picture yet?? You might want to keep your sex toy's out of you 4 year old's reach! And odn't sit there and tell the world that your negligence is all ok! I'm sure your amazing mother who protected you as long as she did would agree with what I'm saying.

        Yes, and my 'amazing mother' also beat the living daylights out of me until i reported her to the authorities. My daughter happened to stumble across it one day that she was being curious in my bedroom. I don't keep them in her toy box where she can have easy access to them.
        I am giving my daughter knowledge and having knowledge is the best thing. She knows not to talk to strangers, she knows not to open the door when someone knocks on it, she knows how to dial 911 in case of an emergency.
        My younger sister lost her virginity at the age of 12 YEARS OLD! Sister from the same mother and the same father! Grew up together. She knew about as much as i did and look where her lack of knowledge took her.. She is now 23 and she has had HUNDREDS of sexual partners in her 11 years of being sexually active.
        I thought i was keeping my vibrator in a safe enough place in my underwear drawer in my bedroom, that turned out not to be the case. Of course i don't want her playing with it. But i'm teaching her that if she has any questions that she can come to me and ask me. I am building that trust with her. When she is a teenager and has raging hormones, i'd much rather her ask me to buy her a vibrator than for her to ask me to buy her birth control or condoms! Or where she can get them for her 'friend'.

          I agree with SOME of your opinions, you should be totally and completely honest to your children about EVERYTHING in life. But at the tender age of 4? Don???t you think she???s too young? I have kids as well 6 and 8, and when they get curious about certain things (not just about sex), if it???s not AGE APPROPRIATE??? I tell them so. My son has seen my vibrator, (I accidentally left it on my bed between the covers) He asked, and I responded w/ a simple??? you don???t have to worry about that right now, I???ll explain it all to you in DUE TIME, all you have to be concerned about is your education & your activities. You also have to think, if she has all this knowledge about adult scenarios/sex/cycles, she???s going to be the child that she is and SHARE it w/ the rest of her peers (when she goes to school/daycare/playground) and let me tell you, if I she would then inform my babygirl, along w/ all the other little girls and boys she interacts with, YEAH I WOULD BE TICKED OFF AT YOU!!       You are sooo right! Kids are totally going to do those things, and let them continue to try if their so determined. But if everyone had an "I don't care" attitude because they're going to do it anyway, you're going to end up raising your 12 year old son or daughter's babies. You know why? Because if you don't try to censor it from their view and tell your kids oh well you're going to do it anyway so it might as well be out in the open; these 12 year old boys and girls are going to think it's ok for them to have a free for all. Do you think if you give them your version of sex education and then give them condoms that their even going to use those condoms??? Oh no, pretty soon theyr'e going to get curious about what it's like not to use a condom and boom!           I've also noticed you seem to be really concerned that 12 year olds of either gender seem to be running around pregnant just from being introduced to the idea of condoms. Maaaybe you should take some of that sex education you were so disparaging in your post.       As someone that is married to a Pharmacist, it does no good to tell the Pharmacist that you don't appreciate the item in the store, they have no control over the placement of items outside of the Pharmacy. All of the chain stores have buyers that purchase what will be displayed and departments that decide where the item should be placed within the store. Don't burden the poor pharmacist with complaints, contact the corporate office

    The fact Wal*Mart has these products in their store tells me we are finally getting what the people want. I am happy to see that most stores out there are stocking their shelves with adult products for the people that need them. We are a country that has the right to go into a store and buy what your looking for, and if its personal lubricant to enhance your sexual experience or to help your sexual experience, then we need it in all stores across the U.S.
