I can't believe how pro-Obama the media is. Did you ever notice the Obama's pic is always on the left side... the first place you look. and he is looking down on Hillary.

I wonder what he will owe CNN and MSNBC when this is over? More back room deals by the Washington insider.

I have seen her on the left side before.

      • Posted By: Time for Change @ 02/14/2008 8:21:21 PM

CNN has her on the left (whatever that indicates) all the time.

Hillary did the hard work and the every day work in the heat of south Texas. Bush and the republicans have done nothing but work to rip the political good will of Democrats en Texas. It is time for all Texas Democrats to come together and work hard in these next weeks to put Hillary in a strong position for the nomination and then together for Texas and for the country we must put her in the presidential office and with a Democratic majority that can get this country back on track for good government and a just society.
To perci m who has a problem. Jesus was a Jew, from a tribal people, grew up in a border town of illegal traders and all that goes down in a boarder town. Get with the program, man. If you love Jesus, try praying with him.

I voted for Obama, but he's turned me and other Obama supporters off down in Florida for pushing to have our votes disenfranchised. I bet he'd want them counted if the delegates were in his favor. I think the real reason you've seen this Hillary surge lately in spite of Barack winning these states is because people vote for Barack because he makes them feel good and then they realize he doesn???t have a plan. Hillary does, so that's why I am supporting her now. In addition, the Obama supporters want their hero or nobody. In all my years of working in local politics, I've never seen such mean double talk. Obama supporters say they stand for change, but they nothing but use Republican Rhetoric and spew venom. You can't have it both ways. Real change starts with yourself and if you're not willing to change, why should anybody else? Why should Washington?

Don't they realize they will need Hillary's voters to pull this off in November. I don't know one Hillary voter right now who says they will vote for him. Not one, yet, "I've met casual voters who voted for Obama who said they will support her."

People... He's not a idol. He's not a hero. He's just a man, and once we get into the general election, and Rove and the Republicans start doing their thing, I think of this "movement" will start to crumble. The latest polls show that Obama can't win Florida in a general election, and that is problematic, but they did it to themselves. I am not saying I won't vote for him in the general election, but I if he were a real leader, he'd tell his supporters to tone it down, and unless I see him do that soon, I'm not sure that I can. In addition, I think he's going to have a problem with the Jewish vote down here because he's perceived as being anti-Israel/pro Palestine.

Plus, I think some of these Republican and Independent votes he's getting in the Caucuses are orchestrated by Rove. I've heard he's been organizing to take out Hillary in the primary. She's already vetted, but he's waiting to run against Obama.

    Time will tell.

He's not pushing anything. Furthermore ,it is not his call.. I doubt if you were an Obama supporter. YOU voted for him, now you say people he's not an idol. Maybe they are supporting him for the same reason you initially supported him. You sound like a Hillary supporter--the whining sounds the same.

TEXAS: The eyes of this country are upon you!!! Please vote with careful consideration.
When you vote, don???t believe the Clinton campaign when it asserts that Barack Obama is not qualified to lead this country. Obama???s great background exceeds Hillary???s qualifications. Here are a few highlights from Barack Obama???s resume???
He graduated in the top 1% of his class at Harvard Law School with a major in Constitutional Law, and was elected President of the Harvard Law Review - a great honor.
Hillary graduated in the middle of her class and flunked her law exam TWICE (this is true, check it out !!)
Obama could have gotten a high paying prestigious job, but opted to work as a community organizer in the poor sections of Chicago helping blacks, hispanics and others to gain a political voice and get ahead.
Obama then worked for years as a Civil Rights lawyer representing a wide range of clients.
He also worked as a Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Chicago.
For her ENTIRE CAREER in Arkansas, Hillary worked as a CORPORATE LAWYER representing large companies in lawsuits against them.
Hillary then became First Lady when Bill won the election, and for 8 years the one ???real??? project she headed was Health Care Reform, in which she failed miserably.
Barack Obama served as State Senator of Illinois for 8 years, and he has been U.S. Senator for the last 3 years. He has a total of 11 years in ELECTED PUBLIC OFFICE.
Hillary has a total of 6 years in ELECTED PUBLIC OFFICE.
You be the judge. Who???s background is more relevant ?

For those that have drunk deeply of the he is all fluff kool aid, I invite you to go to Barack's website and look under the issues tab. He has detailed plans covering over 20 different topics. It is all there and all you have to do is read. On another point did you notice his economic speeches from Wisconsin? I was at the event at Gilley's and they did not even mention the 2 prominent Hispanic Texas Congressmen that spoke at the event. Look deep for yourself and you will be surprised at what you may find. Also I have one question: Can someone really explain the 35 years of experience that Sen Clinton has?

  • Posted By: lisalee78 @ 02/14/2008 7:50:55 PM

you are gravely mistaken if you think the repubs wont go after Obama as hard as they will Hillary. wait until swiftboat and commercials start running about him doing drugs, buying property from a slum lord and his lack of experience...completelly unchartered territory for Obama.. never underestimate the enemy!!!

these are the same people that made Senator Cleland, who lost half his body in Vietnam seem unpatriotic and caused him to lose his race.!!!!!

Iam, where the *** did you ever get that information from? And no one wants to remove all the white politicians... plus if you saw the YouTube debates (you probably didn't), Obama does think he is black. Granted he is black/white (his mom was white, his dad was black).

Obama can beat McCain by HUGE margins.

Hillary? She'll bring out 90 Million Republicans out of the woodwork to vote against her. She is poisonous to the Republicans and look forward to her running!

I live in TX and I am voting for Obama....no doubt about it. I will not vote for that woman...Mrs. Clinton.

  • Posted By: educatedhistory @ 02/14/2008 7:27:49 PM

The only view I have from Obama is a polarizing force against McCain. MSNBC has been very kind to show it on a recurrent weekly basis. If we look at the latinamerican political history it only means going from extrme right to demagogy....HELP, STOP, RED LIGHT learn, learn lean.

AlexD, I honestly wish you weren't an American citizen, because you shame the theme of America, which is to be tolerant and accepting. "All men (and women) were created equal," douchebag.

  • Posted By: FordhamLawTX @ 02/14/2008 4:40:11 PM

To Alex D: South Texas was Mexico before the first illeagals -- the Gringos who crossed teh Red River up north -- invaded. But hey, you shouldn't let teh facts get in the way of your simple-minded hatred.

I dont know about you but 8 more years of the Clinton's its starting to sound like a Dicataorship, and I would rather vote for another Minorty that knows the STRUGLES of a day to day Minorty then and Anglo who has had a priviledged life. Were not just some dumb people that they remember us when they want our vote its time to get rid of the Old White Politician and in with some Young Inspring Minority. Viva Obama!!!
