Comment: the target audience is 'who', again? You're way off. And actually, I am young. It's just that my mental maturity doesn't lie congruent with my biological age, as you would have it. And yes, it just so happens that I KNOW that there is a God; though my rendition of Him probably differs significantly from that of any of the mainstream understandings. Sorry, dude. No laughing matter there. I mean I could laugh, but then that wouldn't be too cool of me. Cool? Cool. And as far as open-mindedness is concerned... [you can go ahead and fill in the blank here. Take up as much time and space as you need.]

Comment: Very funny. It interesting how this show is able to so clearly define the generational divide. Interesting too to note the various comments ranging from those verging on racism (from folks who clearly ignored WATCHING the show prior to commenting) to those who miss the broader values... I'm impressed that the show works as well as it does... Children will explore their kitchens more, beyond what's boxed or canned.

Comment: WOW. The show is obviously a 'satire'. Hunger and starvation don't exist for you people because you people aren't getting the picture. Why else the reference to 'Shaka Zulu'. Read the fine print, people. I hope no one here holds a degree of any kind. Sheesh.

Comment: To ricebowl, using "dime bag" props and women that lack brains on a TV show does NOT indicate that he's trying to improve his lifestyle, if anything, it seems he's trying to promote it.

Comment: Awesome! I actually WATCHED the show - (unlike most of those who seem to have commented here...) - VERY FUNNY VERY informative... Imagine this... he'll excite the minds of kids to explore the kitchen beyond whats in a box, or whats in a can... :) GO COOLIO!! GO COOLIO!! GO COOLIO!! He would do well on any network... but he's seen in Norway RIGHT NOW... so maybe the net is a good place too... whatever... SHAKA

Comment: Everyone is being way too serious about this. Why can't everyone just relax a little, enjoy a cooking show that's actually entertaining and funny and making something good for your significant other? It's not like my 12 year old is going to walk out onto the street and shoot someone just because of this. You're just using your bias judgement of the guy and saying he's a loser. Get off your high-horse, unbutton your collar and chill out a little. And, if you still want to use the "bad example" for the youth in this specific case, then maybe you should be a better parent and know what web pages your children are visiting. This is obviously NOT a show made for children.

Comment: to feline12, who's the loser? you don't even know how to spell the word. don't be mad just because he is making something of his life. do you expect him to be a 'gangster' or rapper or whatever it is you think he is for the rest of his life?!

  • Posted By: feline12 @ 02/17/2008 5:16:27 PM

Comment: Just another bad mouthed former gang member/rapper with little of importance to offer the young white or black people in this country. What a looser, I sure wish our media would give more air time to those who have a positive role model to offer our children. Leave these loosers where they belong, on the streets or behind bars.

Comment: I say, let'em be just exactly that type of a role model for another, mmm.. 300 years.

  • Posted By: feline12 @ 02/17/2008 5:11:58 PM

Comment: Another bad mouthed black rapper from whatever gang he came from on the street. Why does the media give these airheads a voice at all. They are the worst example for young white or black youth there is.

Comment: Not even remotely entertaining or amusing, and the little "dime bags" of whatever the hell he's trying to sell is just incredibly rediculous...

Comment: Thank God I do not watch this trash!

    • Posted By: I Like Funny @ 02/18/2008 2:10:33 PM

Comment: Likely your not in the target audience... ie Young, open minded, and eager to learn from whatever source. OH and you still think there's a god. :) good luck with that.

Comment: Ever notice how these guys seem to have everything except humility?

    • Posted By: shah mat @ 02/17/2008 6:06:42 PM

Comment: I guess 400 years of humility wasn't enough. Or is that 'humiliation'?

Comment: this is just silly and a waist of air time ~ PALEEZE grow up a little more at forty four. If your still using the word B---H with women smiling at your side you can keep your sorry boring 1980's recipe plate of tomato & mozz. I'll chop my own onions feedum to the dog and tell that real B---H to take it out to the pooping grounds. Pimpn is dead and we dont need to be reminded how low one must go to get attention.

Comment: this is just silly and a waste of air time (and good food)~ PALEASE! grow up a little bit more at forty four, still using the word B---H with women smiling around your sorry old ugly plate of tomato and mozz. thats ok ~ I'll chop my own onions and putum in a dog dish where the word and that 1980's recipe can take it out in the pooping yard when done.

Comment: What a cool interview. Sounds like Coolio has a lot to rap about now that he has lived some.
