This guy comes in front of a congressional committee and in front of the entire american public and lies flagrantly and often while under oath and we're OK with that because of his political affiliation? Has America come to this? Is the truth so irrelevant these days. Shame on us, Star pitcher or not, shame on you too Roger.

How many of us really care. It is the commisioner who should be x-examined by congress. Shat did he know and when did he know it?

No to mention another taxpayer-funded personal grudge match - wait for Eagles fan Sen Arlen Spector's strip search of the NFL. He's angry that the NFL didn't summarily ban the Patriots (who beat his Phila Eagles in the 2001 SB) for the league for SpyGate. Would that he put as much effort into investigating the torture scandal the the Bush Admin is knee-deep in. But, hey what's a little waterboarding compared to a little revenge against a rival team.

Congress should be doing something productive instead of wasting taxpayers' dollars to make a public spectacle and get some TV "face time." How about working on energy policies, transportation and roads, build more American jobs and tackle our struggling economy!

What struggling economy? According to bushies and supply-siders, it's perfectly okay to borrow $4 to achieve $1's worth of growth, lie about inflation, lie about employment, lie about our ability (or lack thereof) to service our debt, and then laugh at the Europeans for not doing the same. Struggling economy? Ya gotta be kiddin' me.

If I hadn't known better ... But ever since the dems took over, the republicans have been doing all they can to sink the boat (read: running interference and not even attempting to hide it). Fine. You'll be removed from office. Wholesale.
