Comment: Liberals have the strength to stop a canidate, they do not have the strength to elect a president, look at past Liberal canidates who have been destroyed on election day. With Nader now runnig the hope of a liberal S far to the left as Obama is total fantsay. Supporting Hillary now can still aasure the democrats the White House. Why do you want Mcain in Office

Comment: I love your opinion on the matter and i enjoyed thinking about how the other will attack the other. I also liked how you didn't make the place sound locked up for Obama. -A young sudent trying to understand

Comment: Jonathan Alter: Thanks for the article. I always appreciate your insight and I think you are very even-handed in your analysis of the political landscape. I only have one question for you: how do you explain the types of posts put on the Newsweek blog.. versus those on, say, the NYTimes.com blog?? I am shocked everytime I read the comments on here, because it seems like the majority of the people say the most ignorant things and are that absolute worst of what America has to offer!! This is not a blog for intelligent, policy debate with other concerned voters... it's a place for voters whose main concerns are religion and race to come and post their bigoted views. Is it as disheartening for you as it is for me??
