Scoping Out Obama vs. McCain

Look America!
I am not interesting in political party fighting game but this is the time that every American should be awaken to think at least once right in this totally confused oceans of opinion.
First of all, compare who truly have the excellent characteristics as a leader of this great nation?
Second, if you listen carefully what they say, it is obvious that one is always mumbles and changes his points and the other is very genuine and proved the great leadership.
Please America, look who is more excellent individual that we can trust for our lives on his hand or the flake who luckily ride up the instant fame and backed by Hollywood mentality.
Maybe I don't agree about some of their issues but as a age of 45, I can tell who is genuine and better leader and who is fake and just power hungry.

Dunno. It all becomes a little too slick by half when it comes to Obama. The beer and brats in Berlin that were paid for by the campaign. The HAR'RETZ piece today showing that the Obama campaign released a full text of his prayer to the press before he ever stuffed it into the Wailing Wall.[so much for Pauls admonition that prayer should not be ''rehearsed'' or ''thing of vanity'']. The already ongoing revisionist campaign to allow the Surge as a thing untouched by ''failure''.
RASMUSSEN,USA TODAY,GALLUP and ZOGBY display something patently odd,[this is why NEWSWEAK partisan hacks keep pounding on the ''admiring Euro''angle]. There is no bounce. RASMUSSEN shows both candidates at a dead heat. Others,by a few points that would barely cover the plus-minus spread. The generic ''Democrat vs.Republican''congressional polls are slipping faster than the bodies own approval rating. Reid,who would sell his own mother down the river in order to pick up another chunk of Vegas real-estate,has been bested at every turn by the Republicans who have Americans on their side in the area of oil exploration which is fracturing the Democrats. Todays leftwinged SALON,has Glenn Greenwald in such a tizzy that he demands that the liberals give the ''Blue Dogs''[moderate Democrats],the boot,to be replaced by leftist ideological purity,a sure sign that the wheels are coming off the Democrat wagon. Pelosi shows annoyance and a flustered mien while appearing on ABCs ''The View'',while Oklahomas Tom Coburn accepts the mantle of ''Dr No'',as he combats Democrat parliamentary shenanagins with a few of his own,by placing holds on everything cooked up by the Democrats leaving them demoralized and anxiously looking at polls showing that the American people are arraying themselves against their energy policies.
Into this mix comes an Obama who will have to leave the cotton-candy world of the devoted Euro in order to get down th\o the hard tacks of the less-than-totally-fooled American voter,who wonders whether or not there will be an SS check at retirement,wonders whether or not it will take a full wallet to fill his vehicle,wonders if ''immigration policy''is even a policy at all,and wonders if ''universal healthcare'',will end up becoming a MEDICARE nightmare. This campaign,to all real intent and purpose, is just getting started.

Believe in Yourself

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were
meant to be there. To serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or
help figure out who you are or who you want to become.

You never know who these people may be but when you lock eyes with them, you
know that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.
And sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible,
painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming
those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, will
power or heart.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of
good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer
stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small
tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere.
Safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet affect your life. The successes and downfalls that you
experience can create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned
from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones.

If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because
they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious
to whom you open your heart.

If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they
love you, but because they are teaching you to love and to open your heart
and eyes to little things. Make every day count.

Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can,
for you may never be able to experience it again.

Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let
yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high.

Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a
great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in
yourself, no one else will believe in you. Create your own life and then go
out and live it.

Liberals have the strength to stop a canidate, they do not have the strength to elect a president, look at past Liberal canidates who have been destroyed on election day. I only have one question for you: how do you explain the types of posts put on the Newsweek blog.. versus those on, say, the NYTimes.com blog?? I am shocked everytime I read the comments on here, because it seems like the majority of the people say the most ignorant things and are that absolute worst of what America has to offer!! This is not a blog for intelligent, policy debate with other concerned voters... it's a place for voters whose main concerns are religion and race to come and post their bigoted views. Is it as disheartening for you as it is for me??

Iran supply arms to Hezbollah and Saudi Arabia supports Palestinians and Al-Qaida with huge amount of hard currency. Certain favorite trading nation and Russia don???t give hoot to the USA in selling arms to Iran & Saudi for end use by Hezbollah and Al-Qaida. Republicans don???t even know that Al-Qaida movement was started by Wasabi???s in Saudi Arabia to spread WAHHABISM in all Muslim countries.

So far the junior is senator is concerned, besides he lacks substance, his fake, hollow slogans of change; for some reason his sordid past with Harlem Mafia still remains mystery and not being exposed. Why he is being imposed on the nation, may be Democrats promoting don???t know that Presidency of United States is nothing but Honesty, Morality and absolute Trust in God. Is experience the best word to describe McCain? McCain's "experience" includes promoting the disastrous war in Iraq The Islamic fundamentalists, whom McCain targets as public enemy # 1, are gaining ground everywhere in the world thanks laregly to our misguided policies in Iraq. We are trillions of dollars in debt . And although McCain pledges no new taxes, he's gung-ho on new military adventures in Iran - in spite of the reality that such an attack will even generate more terrorists. Is this any one's idea of "experience"? When you pursue the same failed policy over and over again and expect different results, that's not experience - it's insanity. That would be a better word for McCain's so-called experience.

Obama proved persuasive enough that the bill passed both houses of the legislature, the Senate by an incredible 35 to 0. Then he talked Blagojevich into signing the bill, making Illinois the first state to require such videotaping.

He played a major role in passing many other bills, including the state's first earned-income tax credit to help the working poor and the first ethics and campaign finance law in 25 years (a law a Post story said made Illinois "one of the best in the nation on campaign finance disclosure"). Obama's commitment to ethics continued in the U.S. Senate, where he co-authored the new lobbying reform law that, among its hard-to-sell provisions, requires lawmakers to disclose the names of lobbyists who "bundle" contributions for them.

Taken together, these accomplishments demonstrate that Obama has what Dillard, the Republican state senator, calls a "unique" ability "to deal with extremely complex issues, to reach across the aisle and to deal with diverse people." In other words, Obama's campaign claim that he can persuade us to rise above what divides us is not just rhetoric.

Avian flu: Obama was one of the first Senators to speak out on avian flu, back in the spring of 2005, when it was a quintessentially wonky issue, not the subject of breathless news reports. There's a list of Democratic efforts on avian flu here; Obama shows up early and often. He has sponsored legislation, including what I think is the first bill dedicated to pandemic flu preparedness. It's a good bill, providing not just for vaccine research and antiviral stockpiles, but for the kinds of state and local planning and preparedness that will be crucial if a pandemic occurs. (I was also very interested to note that it requires the Secretary of HHS to contract with the Institute of Medicine for a study of "the legal, ethical, and social implications of, with respect to pandemic influenza". This is actually very important, and not everyone would have thought of it.)

There is no supervision of the spy programs put in place by the Attorney General and the DNI, except by these two indivivuals themselves. No one has the power to stop them any more. the Attorney General and the DNI, both political appointees of the President, have the power under the Protect America Act to order any American to help them conduct their electronic spying against other Americans. Under the new law, if they order you to take part in their spying operations, and you say no, they can throw you in prison. If you do not keep their spying on other Americans a secret, even from your family, they can throw you in prison.

The Protect America Act institutes Big Brother government in the United States. It betrays American liberty. It is a shame that the Act passed, but thanks are due to Senator Obama for casting a vote against it.
