    Has anyone ever noted that since Bush stole his way into office that tolerance and politenes has taken a deep plunge. Isnt it great how finger pointers can rank on people because of problem that are not known about by the people who watch thier art? It's a reflection on yourselves, and the finger points back at your ignorance and bad upbrining as a child with no manners. Kathleen Turner has always been a great actress, nothing more, nothing less, what else you want, to walk on her theatrical accomplishments...what an ass

    Don't pick on the woman about her appearance! She has Rheumatoid Arthritis. For those of you who do not know...some of the treatments are as bad as the disease. If she is on steroid treatment, then the weight gain is not from eating too much or not taking care of herself. Steroids can make you gain as much as 40lbs. When you have knee replacement at 52 and probably going to have the other one replaced at 54, then you will see just how lovely you look afterwards! When you have the kind of serious pain that no doctor can ever really cure, sometimes you just can't care about things like weight gain.

    She's an imperfect human being. However, she is still someone who has a story to tell. If you don't want to read her book, then don't read it.

    OMG, she's 53??!! She is not aging very well - and I'm not comparing her to Hollywood's 'plastic' version of 53, either.

    Obviously, the "Ms. Turner Can Still Turn Heads" title refers to her response to the last question.....

    Kathleen Turner will always be a head turner. I feel bad she has suffered with so much pain...obviously some of these people have not had beauty inside or out or pain. And none of us had to work with Nick Cage....it is a fact that he is difficult and takes his parts to the extreme....it caused the break up of most of his relationships, his own family has a family joke about it.......so Kathleen you are beautiful and Nick you are difficult to work with because its who you are when you have a part..........everyone can stop being mean now.

      Of course you're speaking from experience, right? Exactly how many films have you made with Mr. Cage or are you an Patricia or Lisa Marie? If you were, you'd know he doesn't spell his name 'Nick' for starters! Uh, "most of his marriages?" Before Alice, who he's still very happily married, he was only married twice!! Some of us have had more pain and suffering, inside and out than Ms. Turner but we don't run off to tattle tale about it in a book for a large amount of money! Method acting what it is, I didn't see her refusing her paycheck at the time of "Peggy Sue!'! Go figure!!

    Melanie1987, I don't even believe you're a woman. If you are, you are certainly self-hating. And if you were BORN in 1987, you clearly don't know anything on the subject. Shame on you for being such a mean-spirited, vile person. You and John Gibson would get along great, I'm sure. Perhaps you do PR for Nic Cage...Anyone who has heard insider info concerning Cage knows this anecdote is entirely believable. It makes him look even more guilty by decrying that it is false. Maybe he honestly believes it's false because he doesn't REMEMBER doing that. A lot of addicts forget the awful things they do. It's called self-preservation.

      I wanted to add that my comment was in response to a news article regarding Ms. Turner and you've managed to turn it into a personal attack on someone you've never met!! Now I see why you like her so much! Let's start abusing ALL the method actors shall we?! Assassinating a fellow actors credibility 22 years on, what's that about anyway?? If, after 30 long years in the industry this is the best she can come up with, I feel only sadness for her! There's no need to be nasty towards others after 20 years Kath, get a grip, grow up and age gracefully! "Beauty fades but dumb is forever!"

      So, to have an opinion you're either a man and/or young?! Well Ms. 'tempnewsweeker' I'm AM a woman I'm 40!, Sorry, you're wrong on both accounts! Mr. Cage's always admitted he did 'the voice' to annoy and to other crazy things he's done as we've all done when young and wild. "PR for Cage," "Insider info" ooh, I'm beginning to quiver in my boots! Because he sues he's guilty? Jeez, what messed up world do you live in? Didn't your mummy ever teach you to grow up and not tell tales about others? It's something only bitter, lonely people do for attention! Sorry, that's my opinion!!

    At first glance I was tempted to dismiss her criticism of Cage, but then I remembered how horribly bad the movie was. Not only were his accent and teeth an awful distraction, Turner's attempt to place herself back in high school had me cringing the duration of the flick. However, I'll always love her for "War of the Roses" and "Serial Mom."

    Kathleen Who? Oh Turner, that fat, washed-up, jealous old hag. Her life isn't interesting enough to want to read about so as with all has-beens, she wants attention by spewing lies about others, trying to bring them down to her miserable, lonely level! I admire Mr. Cage who's not content to let her get away with the vomit that she spews and I hope she has to crawl out the gutter to apologize! Oh, she still turns heads all right!! I just never know which one I'm supposed to be looking at!! Do us a favor, for the love of god, take both your heads Turner and go home!! You lost all credibility a long time ago!!

    I'm much younger but you still turn my head, Kathleen, and alway will.
    53 is just a number. I don't care about that.
    I see lots of mature women going out with younger guys all the time.
    If only I can talk to you in person. I'll try to take the bus from now on.
