I THINK OBAMA WOULD MAKE A GREAT LEADER. A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE FOCUSING ON THE FACT THAT HIS PARENTS ARE MUSLIM AND NOT ON THE FACTS OF WHAT HE CAN DO FOR THIS COUNTRY. PEOPLE SPREAD RUMORS ABOUT WHAT THEY HEAR AND NOT ABOUT THE FACTS. BEFORE SPREADING A RUMOR CHECK THE FACTS. WHAT MAKES OBQAMA STAND OUT IS THAT HE IS AN EXCELLENT SPEAKER AND A PEOPLE PERSON. I THINK HE HAS SOME EXCELLENT IDEAS FOR GETTING THE ECONOMY BACK ON TRACK. OBAMA IS GENUINE. HE SEEMS TO BE A PERSON WHO REALLY WANTS TO MAKE A CHANGE IN THIS COUNTRY AND NOT JUST TALK ABOUT CHANGE.

My family and I voted for Barack Obama in the primary. Although Hillary is an intelligent woman, she does not have what it takes to be President. We were leaning towards voting for her until we saw the debate with Barack. She is clearly too arrogant to represent this country. Her statement about not talking to people like Venezuela's Chavez and the President of Iran changed our minds to vote for Obama. This country needs an intelligent charismatic person like Obama who is willing to talk to other heads of state regardless of their ideas on the USA. There is an old saying "KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE AND YOUR ENEMIES CLOSER". We believe Obama is the person to do this. It is a total necessity for the President of the USA to have discussions with ALL heads of states regardless if they like the USA or not. This was the problem with the current President Bush. The Iraq war (invasion) would never have taken place if he was willing to talk and listen to Sadam Hussein. Bush also is arrogant and does not listen! Hence, the mess this country finds itself in . GO OBAMA - we hope you make it to President of the USA.

Let's deal with the substance behind the "plagiarism" charge by the Clinton camp. The plagiarism is not the substantive issue...it is the fact that the Massachusetts electorate fell for Deval Patrick???s rhetoric and elected him. He was Patrick's campaign manager and now Obama's.

This dust up of Obama's speech is really reaching by the Clinton Campaign. The Political Pundits had a good time making a big deal out of nothing. How many times do people use others words to make a speech. You guys have the tapes, videos. Is this really an attempt by the Media or the Clinton's to lessen the impact of Obama's speeches. Or is there something bigger working here. That bigger being to bring Obama down a peg or two, because you have not seen someone like him in quite a while. I guess it is also because the Media has blown Bill Clinton's head all out of proportion, because he is the the only orator out there. Well guess what there is a new Sheriff in town that excites the people, and his name is Barack Obama. So get over it Political Pundits.

Chris Mathews looks absolutely gleeful in the brouhaha over Senator Obama's speech Saturday night. It's another example of "swiftboating" because "they" can't quite believe Senator Obama's gift of oration is real. I've read the speech Senator Obama gave in 2006 on religion and politics, I heard his speech to the convention four years ago, I rejoiced at his "Yes, we can" speech; thus, I know how gifted the Senator is. This is just the beginning of trying to vulgarize what is sublime, to cheapen what is priceless, to demystify what is truly mysterious. Be prepared that change really is a threat to those who've profited and wallowed in smearing others whether in politics, in the social arena, in the corporate world, in the White House. If anyone out there has not stumbled, or suggest they would not stumble, they are not human. Senator Obama is our greatest hope. Let us continue to fight the superficial and scurrilous attacks that are out there, maintain our dignity and fight on for the future President Obama!

This is an excellent article, well written, illuminating and mentally entertaining. Life is essentially a task. Obama is not a fairy tale. The young man has been creatively configuring, fabricating and constructing his existence for this day. Your life takes the direction you give it. Your beliefs, your hopes, "fired up" by your determination and toil would certainly yield results. Many of the comments here have missed the point of the article. This is because most folks live their lives ad interim, in bitterness, in prejudice. They arrest, disfigure and manipulate the beauty and truth before them in an attempt to make a cheap point. If you cannot appreciate the beauty and the truth of this simple story well written, independent of your political affiliation, then you will discover some day when you look back on your mechanical life secreting the inhuman that you have the whole time been living tragically as a weary wanderer on earth.

Hill have been dismissing Barack's words, speeches that don't bring food to
the table. Now she is laying out her 13 point economic plans, shouldn't the
voters then ask her they are also words and won't put jobs and food to the table ?
Yes she has experience, but they are all spectacular failures ! Let's take
Hillarycare that she was pushing very hard into actions according to her plan,
the result is what drives her to have her hairdo pass-in-review for weeks and sent her touring around the world. Then she has a long term plan for the Clinton restoration with even details for her way to the coronation. It involves raising a lot of money to
scare away any challenger and recruited powerful party establishment
sycophants. We are way past to her way from her road to her coronation and she
squandered all the advantages she had, emptied her campaign war chest and found
herself trailing on a path not taken. With that kind of very recent track
record, why should the voters believe in her economic plans in the first place ?
I'll let her record defeat her own plans, for she is the real Talker and a very
Bad Doer, even as she attempts to reprise Bill's reputation of a mulligan !

Moses, of Hebrew heritage, raised to become Prince of Egypt, had a change of heart and saved his people with the help from his God. Will Obama, born with different paternal heritage, raised to become Prince(as senator) of America, have a change of heart and need the power of the U.S. presidency to help his people and heritage? Which one? His mother's or father's?
