NOBAMA!!!
MOHAMMED WAS A PEDOPHILE!!!
Can say the cause for the success behind him?
You can fool some of the people all of the time and those are pretty good odds.
moorejo. You did nothing to enlighten us that your man can do anything. Feel free to present facts of what he will do. Till now your writings only describe yourself and the short comings of the Clantons. The Clantons are a known entity; Obama is not. Your desire to pretend to yourself that I am somehow from the dark days of Americas attitudes are off the mark. I only draw conclusions based on an objective view of the current market conditions. Prejudices and preconceived notions do not have any place in my mind and never have; I work strictly off content of character. I am open minded and ready for new input that can change my views on issues that I follow. Emotional pleas of CHANGE and HOPE only confirm the emptiness of a candidate . So go ahead, make my day, acquaint me with facts that speak to this mans ability to handle the position and indicate what he would do once their. If you, or others, can be intellectually convincing, I can write in Obamas favor.
You're one to talk about facts getzel. Everything that travels from your computer onto this thing is crap and you know it.
apollosdescendant: By definition could not be telling the truth (is that diplomatic enough). If my comments were unintelligent then how did you figure out what I posted and what it meant. You could say you do not agree or ask my methodology or request sources and methods. You did not; so we know that facts do not interest you: your mind is made up. I stand by my comments as an accurate representation of the actual current market conditions that exist; based on my 30 years experience as an intelligence analyst with an impressive record of accurate predictions based solely on my analysis of the facts and their implications.
Getzel, talking about having one's mind made up -- it is evident from your many posts that's the LEAST of the issues you convey. "Market conditions?" :-) Maybe your "intelligence anaylsis" served the purpose it was designed to WHEN it was needed, but it needs to remain in its proper context. There is NO amount of 'recon' you could have possibly done that would qualify you to make the rash (and brash) statements you did concerning Obama supporters -- so apollodescendant was correct. You HAVE no facts! Get a grip! Farrakhan is a Muslim -- not a Christian -- so hate is not a part of what they profess (apparently unlike yourself).
Thank you. I'm glad you see my point of view. People like getzel are the people who are smearing the good name of Obama
on what basis do you state that "She recognized that she had been privileged by affirmative action and she was very comfortable with that." it is careless journalism to the extent that it has no basis. I.e. how was she a recipient of affirmative action? was she admitted only because of her color? This statement once again is a disservice to many people of color who excel in school far above their white classmates and are subject to baseless suggestions of this "privilege." You will be suprised at how many sub par white students permeate the halls of prestigious colleges because daddy's paralegal reviews all their papers. This is the kind of subtle way in which some people continue to try to discredit people of color. Cut it out.
why would you say "she recognized that she had been privileged by affirmative action?" Did she enter with lower test scores/grades/talent or what?? Or is every black person a de facto recipient of affirmative action
Comment: ALL and all its just a bunch of PINKobamas that scrawl. They will see the world thru rose colored glasses till next fall. If their fool gets in they will soon see the handwriting on the wall. He puts in the DRAFT...and I do not mean to the inaugural ball. They may raise a ruckus but Obumer will not let them stall. And that is the HOPE and CHANGE that will befall. all the UDOPIANS that can not see the handwriting on the wall. The founding fathers never mentioned hope and change nor did King Saul. They wrote a constitution and did things that were not very small; unlike OBUMER and the UDOPIANS who run their mouths and scrawl but never really said or did anything of substance at all.
I say put in a draft now for those who are worried about it next year and whoever wil be the President; McCain, Obama or Hillary. If you have not seen the numbers yet then all of you are looking through rose colored glasses. When SM's have been 3,4, and 5 rotations into the sand box and then come back to nothing here and who's going to pay for all this, No new taxes, but for you patriots out here go and enlist, better yet how about our young sons and daughters it for their future Right! I am for anyone who will get our soldiers out of there a personal friend has a son who just got back last and now he's going again.
You are obviously very, very young OR ill informed!!! Boots on the ground in Iraq, Iran,
Pakistan, Afghanistan or WHEREVER...is the ONLY choice for our country to have a
slim ray of hope of survival. Do you have any reference point to 9/11??? If that did not
put a little fear into you...I suggest that you stay tuned to the NEXT attack..I'm sure it
will be much more widespread and tragic..That is exactly why WE cannot have Obama
in the White House. How many tours have you served??? Love of country is a
necessity for it to exist...

que piensa ms clinton que a los hispanos en texas los tiene en la palma de la mano y que con un plato de frijoles los tiene. soy independiente y pienzo que el poder es alternancia o tamvien piensan los clinton estar como castro toda la vida en el poder
To all disciples paid by Obama! ...from the Oprah's money... she got from a degenerated media TV !! I have bad news for you !! You have to say Good Bye to The White House ! Ohio, Texas and Penn will boost Hillary to the November election !! In the case,... only in the case... the contest will be: Obama-McCain, me and Hillary's supporters will go with McCain, a real American and Veteran Hero ! Because he voted for defending this country, for me and for you my friend and against the common enemies !! Kapisky or not kapisky ?! Bye-Bye !!!
Good! Go and take your vote with you! We already know where you stand! :-)
I would like to post my comment in speaking for the young voters and why we are coming out to suppose Obama. The entire Obama campaign, which I would like to call a movement, has personally affected all of as. We find ourselves believing in opportunies again, and regaining "hope" for hope in itself. It's definitely had a positive effect on our lives. Again, it's not just a campaign with desired ends pointing to the White House, it's become an energizing tool for maximizing our potential as a country. We are so excited to hear about change and the thought of transparency in Washington. When you see all the supporters at his events, remember my posting because I speak for darn there 100% of his young voters.
I think I speak for many when I say to ignore Jrmapu's comment. She's certainly free to say it, but EVERY TIME election results have come in from the last (now) NINE contests, we are told the same thing: that "solutions" and "experience" mantra is NOT registering with the voters. Voting for Hillary at this point will lose us the white house for sure! You're on the right track with your comments.
I am so gald to hear you say that. I so agree with you. I may not be in your demographic but i can see that the hope he brings will bring the CHANGE in everyone. Change starts at the top. If we go back to the old there is going to be no change only despair that change is not possible. If he is as smart as i think he is he will surround himself with the right people. A presidency is as good as the people who are appointed to help the president. Time has shown us that.
What change do you think will happen? He will need to adapt to the position, than he will need to garner allies to help him, our democratic party is already torn because of this so called movement. What we need is solutions and Hillary is providing the solutions. Funny that her solutions are so inviting that Obama has been penned using her ideas. So you tell me who is really for change?
Ofcourse we will benefit from universal healthcare, and we all know that healthcare coverage comes out of our tax dollars. I would like for Barack or Hillary to define a healthcare plan that would lay up on the middle class, and the hard working poor class that lose coverage if they make a penny over $2,000.00 a month, which is close to nothing if you live in California. As a Nurse it breaks my heart to see families opt out of having a necessary surgical procedure in efforts to keep their homes, but other people who snuck over here recieve surgery for free. Im not against covering all people who cant afford care, but something is wrong when we have law-abiding hard working citizens struggling to maintain healthcare.
I totally disagree with Jrmapu's comments. Every pundit that has clearly stated that there isn't a hair's worth of difference between Obama and Hillary's plan -- the main exception is that she will MANDATE the insurance whether people can afford it or not. More importantly, neither of these very similar plans will be on the table if Hillary is the nominee because every poll in the country shows and has shown she would loose HANDILY to McCain.
You are exactly right. The government has been operating on the same poverty level since 1934. Hillary did try to CHANGE the way healthcare is distributed, but the legislature wouldn't allow it. Hello, universal healthcare is not new. We have it. What we need is to tune it and make it affordable for everyone. Hillary can make that change with the support of a full democratic party. She really is our only hope for an immediate resolution. Obama will take longer. He has play to nice nice and will lose a few. We can't wait four more years. The time is now for so many reasons.
You know if Obama gets the nomination, I just may vote Republican. I'd rather have a Republican president than trust the scales of justice in favor of a full Democratic majority under an inexperienced leadership. I just changed parties from republican. Hillary is my only choice. Obama will have to wait his turn. Patience. What is his urgency? Why is he saying anything to get elected? Why is he being a political bully? (Thats politics, I know). Why is the press being soft on him? Those are the questions people need to look at. Everyone knew Hillary was going to run in 2008. So what if she's business. Hello, there is business to be had. We are a country in trouble. If she were male no one would be questioning her. One thing for sure, she loves America and she is a mother first and foremost. No one can doubt her sincerity. As for Michelle, she said it best, her husband would like a normal life, well politics is not normal, neither is leadership. Again why does she get a softer exposure and Chelsea get a harsh bashing because she is a Clinton? That girl turned out great. At least she didn't kill anyone or doesn't bring negative publicity to herself. Yep, definitely will vote republican, if Obama is the nominee. The alternative is scary..
You know, I think you SHOULD vote Republican with all of the 'issues' you seem to harbor against Obama -- or for Hillary, as the case may be. Just leave the rest of us out of the wrangling that seems to be going on with you. "Wait his turn." I think his "turn" will be when the American people say that it's his turn and not a moment sooner. Maybe it's time for Hillary to wait her "turn."
Wait his turn? I would like to know what your response would be if your child, family member, loved one, etc was told wait your turn... when that person has EVERY right to get on the ride now. And what experience? She was a homemaker in the white house!!! My dentist has a lovely wife. I've known both of them for the last nine years... does not make her qualified to work on my teeth.
Smileyface, you don't understand. You probably just started on the bandwagon. Hillary was and is not only a homemaker, she is an accomplished lawyer, Senator, FIRST LADY, and most of all MOTHER. That is a very good resume, if you ask me. She is more than qualified. And for the record, I have told my children and any other person dear and near to me. Things happen for a reason. Your time will come. Remember the greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. I need resolution to the problems at hand, NOW not FOUR years from now. If not Hillary, then McCain because the only way I will vote for Democratic control is if Hillary gets the nomination.
And most of all she's a Mother? What the hell does that have to do with the presidency. you just commented earlier on separating business from personal, now you throw in personal positions as qualifiers for her being President. I see what kind of person you are, the same as she she... sway this way when convenience. Sway that way when its not. You vote for McCain then, because Hillarious Clinton is not getting nominated. And you hide behind her "experience" as to why you won't vote for her... I'd have more respect for you if you just went and said, you won't vote for him because he's black.
First of all, don't ever inject race as an issue in my comments. You know nothing about me. Now as for the mother comment? She did fine. Chelsea is the product of that labor. I am going to say this in Layman terms so you can understand. If Obama had the experience to be president, I would vote for him without hesitation. For you to insinuate I am basing my vote on "color" is ludicrous. I have biracial grandchildren and thier father is a great man, husband, and father. Be careful who you chose to use this tone. You never know. We can all agree to disagree. My words deserve just as much validation as yours.
What experience are you talking about ? Of being a doormat ? Hillary's husband humiliated her publicly time and time again and she just took it. If Hillary were a man with a wife that was a serial cheater she would not even be considered for dog catcher. By propping up Hillary you are just enforcing the stereotype that it's OK for women to be doormats but not men.
Hillary was just re-elected to the u.S.Senate and was certainly not vocal about running for President, a job to which she is not entitled. but must win through the electoral process.to Based on how her campaign has been conducted to date she still has some learning to d.
She has the experience that matters. Personal is one thing, business is another. She will take care of business. If you are hell bent over not voting for her, don't. Stereotyping? I don't think so. If anything, you're stereotyping. If she was such a doormat, why does she have so much respect? She took her marriage vows seriously. Leave her alone. They deserve to take care of thier business in the privacy of thier own home. As long as the job is done, that is what matters. I am not paying taxes for a job not to be done. We are the employers remember? I don't know about you but when Bill Clinton was in office, people were working, the economy was good, we did not have the downturn housing market we have now, he left Bush with a great surplus. You are the stereotyping individual.
Sorry to have resorted to name calling Getzel. Although I couldn't disagree with you more, your wit made me smile. To Jrmapu, I'm debating seriously of voting republican myself, if Hillary is the nom. I think she would be filibustered as much as Bush is now, but by the opposite side. I feel we need a Pres that can and has crossed over the aisle to make things work. Obama and John have both done that. (Weirdly, enough with eachother in a proposed immigration bill). Not sure Hillary would be able to overcome the absolute bias that most of the republican party has against her. Iraq, however, may make me support a dem no matter what, however.
To geniepocket2 I understand your reluctance about Hillary and the republican party. Iraq is a sore subject. Be honest tough, how did you feel when 911 hit? Everyone had the same reaction. Everyone was vulnerable. They wanted to fight the terrorist. Hillary has since regretted voting for Iraq because it turned out to be something else. A president in power will need everyone's support to run a country. Neither has to agree with anything else but what is in the best interest of the country. Hillary does have leadership. As for the immigration bill? Not sure about that one. Again Hillary knows the issues of immigration much better.
You said "A president in power will need everyones support to run a country". Since 1/2 the country hates Hillary (maybe it's deserved or maybe it's not) by your own definition she could not run the country. Why should anyone vote for her if even her own supporters acknowledge (albeit indirectly) that she could not run the country.
1/2 of the democratic party may not like her but she is respected, whether anyone agrees or not. She can run the country. She fights for everyone. I am still voting experience. She has it. We the country know thier dirty laundry, yet the job needs to be done. She can get that done.
I just HAVE to ask because I keep hearing about this "experience" that Hillary has. What kind of experience qualifies someone to be president who is NOT a second-term president? If she had EXECUTIVE experience I could at least see the leadership component, but that isn't there either. I think the word "experience" may be a code word for "age" because she has been an elected official for less years than Obama has.
Comment: Ahhh, Army Ranger. The TRUTH comes out at last! Your language seemed to border on bigotry and now you've confirmed what I thought. YOU check it out! Just as it has ALWAYS been, black men are OVERREPRESENTED in the military now, just as they've always been. That means, Army Ranger, that PERCENTAGE wise, there are more of us in the military than there are in the COUNTRY! THAT's what that means! As a black senior military officer, who is also a criminolgist and an educator, do NOT bring up the subject of who is in prison without fully understanding how the system works. I, friend, understand how the system works. What YOU need to do is some searching of your own and tell me what you find out about who it is The Innocence Project is releasing from the prisons on a regular basis. While you're at it, talk to me about blocked opportunities that are available to some but not to all. It's always amusing to hear people espouse "facts" about something they know so much about, yet have never been taught about or studied. You speak as if there are no black men in the "war" because they are in prison. I won't even begin to truly address the type of mentality that portrays. I'll simply say that you sound like one of those people who, even if Obama was the absolute best candidate on the ballot and everyone else believed so, you wouldn't vote for him. The venom you spew is not of the sort that belongs in any type of substance discussion in a political contest (or very few others that involved race, for that matter). So in answer to your OTHER asinine question, our REAL men are in that same war that you're in ... and the other one that has us dealing with over a century of the limited mindset that hampers you and hinders this country. Lastly, and hear this well. Ask yourself as valiantly as black men have fought, flown, and died in wars in this country EVEN WHEN they weren't free citizens, if they deserve the lack of respect that you're rendering. You dishonor those who bled the SAME color blood their comrades did, for the SAME cause, while others that survived some wars, came home to find themselves STILL NOT FREE! I, for one, would not want to command someone such as yourself in battle because I would have to watch my BACK as well as my front. THAT, my "comrade-in-arms" is what's SCARY!
BULL, Puffed Up...High on yourself??? I would dare say that YOU would NEVER have
had..NOW, nor later...the luxury of being my Commander...THAT"S A FACT!!!! As for
the plight of the black men of this country, I take pride in KNOWLEDGE... I NEVER listen
to what people say, but by their ACTIONS or inaction!!! I believe what I SEE and I see
Ugliness and brutality and that's just within the society of black Americans..They are
killing each other faster than they can reproduce. WHO IS TO BLAME????? You
are NO patriot, no honorable man, you are obviously just black and PISSED..What's
NEW?????
Get him!
Michelle Obama is as racist as Oprah. She is arrogant and domineering and I am surprised how quickly people have forgotten how she was on Oprah when he first won the Senate seat and spoke so negatively about her husband. The press was saying they were shocked and she gave out far too much info than the public wanted to hear. Short memories. I just had a client the other day who attended the same church as
she years ago and when they saw her recently they approached her to say hello and she treated them terribly. They were shocked and they are African American also. They said she was always a very arrogant woman and they wouldn't vote for her husband even if it meant McCain would win. I don't like her or her
attitudes. You people who are for Obama are mixed up. You are voting for a speech not a reality. Any great
actor could get up and give the same type of speeches but that doesn't mean they will perform. It tickles me to hear all his supporters talk about change. WAKE UP!!!!! Who are his advisors? Are they new to Washington politics? NO, NO, NO...they are Pres Clintons boys. Good God are you that naive? There is nothing new about the people who he will hire to work for him. Grow UP.....
Just vote for who YOU want and leave the rest of us alone -- we need some "growing up" time. :-)
I guess after consuming my sixth bottle of vodka, I, too, would change my handle to "spirited".
Some of Oprah's closet friends are white. She and Maria (Arnold's Schwarzenager's wife) were friends before Oprah became a billionaire. You Clinton supporters are just like her. Attack people's character just to get a vote. America's tired of this crap--can't you tell?
benvolio: Thanks for the civil tone. The spouse of the President is not generally on the list of reasons to vote for President. On balance Bill is more of an asset to the USA than Michele.. .Since most world leaders have multiple relationships, especially in Moslem countries where men have multiple women and women are chattel, I hardly think anyone cares. The issue of Barak Hussain Obamas chosen church and its Fara-con honoring writings remains the question.. No one to refute, is evidence of truth!
Getzel, maybe others on this site buy that nonsense, but the burden of proof is on you for making such a claim -- not on those listening to it. As I mentioned earlier, Farrakhan is a MUSLIM, not a Christian, which would not then have fellowship with the United Church of CHRIST because they don't believe in Christ. Where is YOUR proof of what you say?
I agree with SueNG that the racial bashing in this chain is embarassing. Attitudes like this are the reason that we would do well to have a black president--to prove once and for all that race is not a factor in leadership. I am a staunch Hillary supporter now (for her extensive experience), but will certainly support Obama if he wins the nomination. God bless us, every one.
could it be that a 400000 a year salary tax free be the impetus for her to support her husband? heck I'd promise everything anyone wanted for that kind of money
