Now I know why I don't read NEWSWEEK. What a fluff job this article is. Did the reporter bow three times before exiting the presence of Her Majesty? If not, she may get flogged and thrown in the dungeon for a few years!

Now a little about the REAL Michelle Obama. Cares about people> That is hysterically funny.

Does a person who cares about people vote, as a director of a company, to shut a plant and throw 153 minority workers out of their jobs? Hardly. Yet this is what Michelle Obama did as a Director of Treehouse Foods. She voted to shut a Colorado pickle and relish plant in a town that has a population of 1,500. Thus she helped throw over 10% of the population out of their jobs. When the Mayor of the town offered to pay for plane fare for either her or Barack to come visit to see the devastation her vote caused, they both refused to come.
By the way, her hypocritical Husband Barack criticized Hillary for being a member of the Board of WAL-MART. Yet his own wife Michelle is was a member of the Board of Treehouse Foods, who's biggest customer is.... WAL-MART and its subsidiary, Sam's.

Next, our "good Samaritan" whom many people who have posted here claim would be a great addition to the list of First Ladies, is a Vice President of a hospital where she is in charge of community affairs. The community that it is located in is Barack's old State Senate District which is mostly Black, This hospital has been cited by the Department of HHS with "Patient dumping". That is, tossing poor sick people out of the hospital because they have no insurance or inadequate insurance. Yet this supposedly "Not For Profit" hospital earned over $200 MILLION in PROFITS last year and is on the road to making over $240 MILLION in profits this year with an average patient load of 27,000 patients a year. That is an AVERAGE PROFIT of over $7,400 per patient. Not gross receipts, but PROFIT for a Not for Profit hospital.
They also charge poor Blacks without insurance 5 1/2 times as much for the same medicines that they charge Whites with insurance. When they can't pay, they spend over $10 MILLION on collection agencies to hound these poor sick people for the money.

If you don't believe me, look at the profit statements yourself. She works for University of Chicago Medical Center. What you read should make YOU ill. Michelle has an office bigger than many of the labs in the hospital yet poor Blacks are overcharged and tossed out of the hospital and forced to seek help at the County Hospital.

These are just a few of the "oversights" the person who calls herself a reporter managed to miss. I'm sure that if you assigned her to write an article about New York City she would miss the fact that the World Trade Center is no longer in existence if this is the quality of her reporting.

Michelle Obama is "real", which many of you couldn't begin to understand. That's because you live in a world of ignorance and bigotry. Do you believe that Hillary Clinton and her philandering spouse, Bill Clinton, are perfect? No, you don't.. But we live in a world that forgives infidelity and dishonesty because we choose politicians according to their race and not their values. I applaud the Obamas, as they return "class" to the White House.

For smileyface; Nothing wrong with being a mother. I will vote McCain because we do not need a democratic control everything. Hillary is the only one I trust to keep balance. Right now the democrats have control. I was already contemplating going republican because of the control. As for the race comment, excuse me, why bring race into this. That has nothing to do with that. besides I have black hawaiian grandchildren. and my son-in-law is a great man. Obama is the future not the present. I did say that. I am not leaving anything to chance. Obama will not get my vote. When he is more seasoned and gain experience, then and only then will I vote for him. Not sooner. I will vote McCain if Hillary does not get the nomination. I am pretty sure lots of independents and at least one half of Hillary's supporters feel the same.

To all "so smart Obama's disciples" ! If it is so ease to change or to do something...(by mouth) for this country, why you don't take yourself this responsibility for presidency ?! Seems to be very ease commitment for everybody ! Don't loose opportunity ! I am sure you can apply and you will be fully qualified ! You do not need to be a Senator (absentee champion) first ! Equal Opportunity in our society !! Go ahead ! I am sure you might be better as Obama !! And possible much more clean ! Good luck and I'll vote for you !!

Comment: Barak Hussain Obama will introduce the draft after taking office. He HOPES to CHANGE things his supporters may not be so happy with. I have 30 years experience as an intelligence analyst (non-government) with an impressive if not stunning record of correct readings of current market conditions and their implications for the future. He represents something different alright.

I read the article pretty carefully, and one of the things which stands out is that Michelle Obama is looking to further the "black" cause. Okay. But, what about me? I've been supporting the "black" cause through entitlement taxes almost all my working life; and, frankly, I'm tired of it. I won't be voting for the Obama's.

Is this a joke? What a crock of BS!! How priviledged can you get. I too grew up on the "real" south side of Chicago. during a time when to ride the train through Cicero was taking your life in your hands. She grew up in a home with two parents and a stay at home mom. Maybe that's why she's confused about her etnicity. As a black woman raised by a single mom who worked 14-15 hrs a day to raise us, I attended a "white" college in Ohio, but my mother made sure that I knew who/what I was before I got there. I have no sympathy for Mrs. Obama. She go into Princeton because of her brother.
