    Michelle Obama seems like a good person who means well. Not many of us have given up lucrative careers with large salaries for publc service. Barack is lucky to have her by his side. It's really unfortunate that so many people try to invent lies and half-truths to slander others, just because they do not agree with their politics. This is part of what Barack wants to change. I'm with him.

    I am part of Barack's legacy as a graduate of Public Allies Cincinnati....I knew of Michelle's involvment, but the article gave light to Barack's involvement...."She is his Rock"

    Clinton-Barack Platforms may have more similarities than differences....however, the person has to carry out policy....Barack is a track-record uniter and consensus builder on issues to usher his platform through the contentious halls of congress. Clinton is a roadblock- personality and politically. ie, failed universal health care. Vote Barck: Change we Believe in!

    and smoked crack cocaine in Obama's limo, The man alleges that the obama and company tried to quiet this man.

      Enter Your Comment Michelle Obama is indeed the "closer." In hearing Michelle speak, I felt as though she could totally relate to my own life: professional, working mother and wife. Trying to keep things together. Michelle and Barack Obama offer the best examples of achievement and sacrifice to this nation. We need them in the White House.

    your article failed to relay "who is michelle obama." yes, you reported her activities, college background and alluded to high aspirations from a least one parental figure, kudo's to you since it was her father. nevertheless, what influenced her life, was she raised in a Christian home? not unlike her spouse, what we really know is practically nothing.

      Why does it matter if she was raised in a Christian home? I think (hope!) most people recognize that religion does NOT equal moral behavior (or anything else). I personally do not care what religious background my president (or president's spouse) comes from, or even IF they were raised "religious."

    Barak Hussain Obama will introduce the draft after taking office. He HOPES to CHANGE things his supporters may not be so happy with. I have 30 years experience as an intelligence analyst (non-government) with an impressive if not stunning record of correct readings of current market conditions and their implications for the future. He represents something different alright.

    Just imagine how impressed we'd all be with your 30 years experience as an "intelligence analyst" if you'd managed to spell 'Hussein" correctly!

    As most folks know, the right wing-nuts (like serial drug abuser Rush Limbaugh) always use Obama's middle name, even though he almost never does. Why? Because it is "code" for the false allegations that he is (a) a closet Muslim, (b) that he is secretly plotting to bring back the draft (oooohl that might mean W's daughters might get a chance to serve their country in Iraq) and (c) that he is some sort of alien terrorist agent. The same folks who brought you "Swift Boat" veterans for BS are at ther old habits of character assassination; sadly, this seems to work for dittoheads and other simple-minded people.

      Michelle Obama is a lady, a mother and a wife. You disagree with her husband ideas , this is your right, we live in a democratie, but democratie does not mean to be mean and negative. What I dont like in sen Cliton campaign is that it uses negative and dirty ads to prevail. Obama wants to go over those old dirty politics and he is proving it in the way he debates and campaigns. He has a lot of respect for sen Clinton and he said it more than once. he disagrees with her in some points and thinks correctly that he can motivate and unify the country in order to be able to apply his plan who is 90% similar to Mrs.Clinton one. Obama is not perfect , he will make mistake but at least he has the courage to admit it. He is educated, he has the real experience we need to change (not insider experience), he will be surrounded by the best team and advisers (he prooved it in his campaign) not the loyal ones like the Bush's ones and the Clinton`s. He is polite, respectful, the kind of a president that not only US needs but all the world needs.

    Being any man's "Rock" is full-time job enough, yet Michelle's personal is evolving. It will be intriguing to see how Michelle uses her First Lady position, given the chance. It's doubtful she'll concentrate on updating the china (Nancy Reagan) or making low-key and seemingly infrequent efforts of the appropriate-nice-woman kind (Laura Bush).

    The Later Years Bill Clinton, of the Tsunami and other uber-Diplomacy efforts, was becoming admired and beloved in the world. It's sad to see him mis-using his spouse position in attacks, and misstating facts in those attacks, though it's understandable given his loyalties.
