I am amazed by the law levels of the comments from both side. You folks cannot disagree without beeing disagreable. I am an Obama supporter but I respect all candidates, and I think Obama does the same.

He still goes to fara-con church.

I am cautiously optimistic that people are not going to vote for him because he is "African American". He is not. He is from a biracial family, half white from Hawaii and half Kenyan. Please be intelligent enough to have the foresight to vote for him because of his values and competence, and not just because of his race.

Obama brings to the table a valuable intangible that cannot be easily quantified. When Obama is inaugurated, morality, patriotism and productivity in the United States will experience a net increase.

For one, Obama sends a message throughout the United States and the World that merit (not race, religion, or wealth) is the most important qualification to get ahead in the United States. He gives people hope that despite race (or any other non-merit considerations), they can do things.

Many argue that taxes discourage productivity. In reality, people do not like paying taxes when the government is not working for them. Taxes lead to drop in productivity when the government uses exuberant amounts of money on such things as the Iraq War.

The President is much more than merely an experienced administrator. A good President is someone who can motivate a nation to do things beyond their expectations. Just as a coach can motivate a team to greatness, a President can motivate a nation to greatness.

In financial terms, the day Obama is inaugurated, the value of the United States will increase tremendously.

I want McCain, but if he doesn't make it, I'd thnk it would be wonderful for the Obama's to get there! We are ready, this country needs a black man President and Black First Lady!!!!! Your post to Donna sounds as though you are a wee bit calmer. Thank you for your prayers. However, THE HOLY SPIRIT, has bestowed upon me the gifts of discernment and wisdom for many years. This is why I understand you and (others like you). I am able to discern the pain and hatred so deeply lodged inside your hearts (even though we are not face to face). This pain and hatred is what forces you to express yourself in the ways that you do. You, HolyRoller, are very troubled. Your hatred is a demon. Satan tugs at your heart (though you may be unawareof it). You need to be healed. Your pain (whatever its origins) has been there a very long time. This presidential campaign is just one more opportunity for some of the poison that is inside of you to spew out. God, through his son, Jesus, will help you to heal. When you talk to Jesus several times a day , as you say you do, He answers your prayers and in a way you cannot anticipate. Do not claim to be a Christian if you cannot receive the answers that God provides in His own time and in His own way. This message is part of the answer to your prayers. God, the Father, through His son, Jesus, will help you learn to be more loving,compassionate and Christ-like with persons who are not exactly like you. When God made the leaves on trees, he did not fashion all of them from the same pattern. Nor, did He design only one pattern. Answer me this...Hillary's healthcare plan will mandate us citizens to maintain healthcare coverage or will will be financially penalized when filing our taxes or some other way. As it is, our tax dollars pay for the uninsured and the medical for the poor..Are we still required to pay for the 20 million illegal immigrants healthcare coverage? They dont file taxes right?

Now, come on, no doubt the Clintons are more popular than George W. Bush almost everywhere in Europe, but what does that say about Hillary's governing skills? Not much. Bill has spread some lies about Obama's true voting record on Iraq, hoping he won't be caught in it. I am scared of a double presidency in all but name, with people at home and abroad secondguessing every single remark he drops during one of his speeches in Europe, which up until now have earned him a million dollors each to finance his wife's campaign with what is money given to him by foreigners. A president of the United States must stand on his own feet.

Michelle O' is a strong women! She represents all WOMEN in the world..She rocks and so does her MAN! And to the ignorant and ill informed, they will be in the WHITE HOUSE and soon..NOW HOW YA like that!
