Michele Obama is a woman I do not want as First Lady of America. I don't think people are going to forget she is the woman who said she was never proud of her country until Barack Obama became a presidential candidate. I don't like what Barack Obama and Michele Obama are doing to the democrat party. It wouldn't surprise me if Barack Obama throws Michele under the bus if he loses the election. I am a Hillary Clinton supporter who certainly will not vote for Barack Obama. In my opinion, Barack Obama is nothing but a ruthless politician who will say anything to get elected and if elected, will do anything he can get away with. Absolutely NOBAMA. McCain is a much better choice than Obama. When the party screws up you must vote for the person not the party. If not Clinton...then it's John McCain for president.

Regarding Michelle as a "Bridezilla" and a "scarry woman". Strong confident women have always been labeled with negative monikers. Hillary has been called a few herself. I think they both were made at the same factory with the same mold. The only difference is the material for one came from a Chicago suburb and the other from Chicago's South side.

I just read the previous comment regarding Michelle Obama being a "Bridezilla" and a scary woman. Strong confident women have always been referred to by a negative moniker. If your remember Hillary has been called a few herself. I think they were both made at the same factory. The only difference is the material for one came from the suburbs of Chicago and the other from the South side of Chicago.

I've tried unsuccessfully to warm up to Michelle Obama. This morning she was on the Tom Joyner morning show, which is largely a black listener radio show. Tom told her many black Hillary supporters were still praying for guidance as to who they would vote for in November. Tom asked her to respond. Michelle did not answer the question directly at all. She deliberately avoided using Hillary's name, glibly referring to her supporters as "those who supported another candidate". To me, that seemed mean, divisive, jealous, arrogant, and spiteful.

"Race is an issue that I believe this nation cannot afford to ignore right now" -- Barack Obama

  • Posted By: Cantabrigian @ 08/25/2008 1:37:50 PM

It all depends on how well she has learned to be civil toward the "whites." Why has the media not published any memories of the students who attended school with the sarcastic, nasty Michelle they knew so well?

  • Posted By: LANIE @ 08/23/2008 2:43:51 AM

I THINK MICHELE OBAMA IS A BEAUTIFUL, SMART, SAVVY, LOVING WOMAN AND MOTHER...WE COULD ALL LEARN SOMETHING FROM HER LOVE OF FAMILY, COUNTRY, AND WORL.D...WHAT A CHANGE FOR THE WHITE HOUSE...YOU GO GIRL...MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY...

She's the kind of woman who stands behind her man. Literally.

Here's a story about Barack and Michelle for you. In a campaign influenced by Walmart, instead of backing the pro-labor candidate, Obama backed a "Walmart tool."

There was little surprising about Obama's endorsement given his self-interested allegiances to the politically powerful City Hall regime of Chicago's Mayor Daley, with whom Obama shares the same big money campaign super-consultant (David Axlerod) and numerous big money sponsors.

For the first time Mayor Daley had vetoed an ordinance by his normally obedient City Council, a measure widely supported by citizens, community organizations, and labor unions in Chicago's black, Latino, and working-class wards, and he did not want the council to bring the measure up again. It was originally passed by the council under pressure from a remarkable grassroots campaign, and would have required giant retail corporations like Wal-Mart, Target, Lowes, and Home Depot to pay workers a modest minimum wage of ten dollars an hour by 2010.

Wal-Mart and Target announced that they were putting a number of "big box" retail developments on hold in Chicago, and launched a preemptive public relations strike, threatening to disinvest in the city unless a "favorable business climate" was restored. Daley made a special point of wrapping his veto in the flag of racial justice, claiming it was required to permit the flowering of economic development in the city's abandoned ghetto neighborhoods.

Pat Dowell, the recipient of significant support from the Service Employees' International Union (SEIU), was running against Tillman, and Dowell had strongly criticized Tillman for siding with Daley and Wal-Mart.

Obama needed the support of the powerful campaign finance magnet Daley, and endorsed Tillman, over labor-backed Dowell.

Obama's wife Michelle then received $51,200 in 2006 for attending a few board meetings of TreeHouse Foods, a giant firm that relied heavily on its close business relationship with Wal-Mart. The granting of high-pay/do-little board posts to the spouses of politicians is a longstanding tool of the "old," corporate-dominated politics that Senator Obama claims to reject. This is not like Clinton's placement on the board of Walmart as the result of an effort to address sex discrimination in Walmart's employment practices.

Mrs. Obama resigned from her position with TreeHouse in the summer of 2007, citing "increased demands on her time" in connection with her husband's presidential campaign.

Looks like you have been doing your homework based on facts, and not smear stuff that Obama supporters will say is the case when it is a matter of record. My guess is that the new book called THE OBAMA NATION by Dr. Jerome Corsi, Ph.d, will have a section devoted to Michelle Obama. Including the thesis she did back in college that I heard was not available to the public until the day after the election. Sounds like her thesis must have some liberal undertone or other basis to her reasoning why they had to ban review of her thesis during Obamas run for President.

      • Posted By: raddave @ 08/06/2008 1:48:58 PM

Her thesis has been available at politco.com since 22 Feb. Go there and read it if you want.

        • Posted By: pearsoncrz @ 08/06/2008 6:22:33 PM

Why not post the link to the article which has links to the thesis? Do you think old people like me won't be able to find it?

    • Posted By: notroubleatall1963 @ 08/05/2008 9:49:29 PM

Well, this is all very interesting, but actually the Service Employees' International Union (SEIU) is now endorsing Obama and supports him all the way to the White House, so I guess this didn't hurt him too badly after all. And I don't think his platform is anti-Corporate either. You are perhaps assuming things that you attribute to Liberal Dems? I don't know... maybe you're right, but I don't find either of the Obamas particularly fussed against corporate America. They may have made choices not to work in that track, but they're savvy enough to know they can't completely negate the many varied and variable influencers across the economy.

      • Posted By: sharenews @ 08/06/2008 3:28:11 AM

You have to be kidding. They(Obama and Michelle) I feel have been promoting to especially the young people to serve this country to make it better by focusing on entering careers outside of the corporate environements. I really do believe their goal, even though they have earned millions in their jobs or accomplishments themselves, is trying to squash down the dreams of Americans going for the gusto as far as they can to succeed in this country which includes entering the corporate world to be the best you can be based on where you want to be.

        • Posted By: raddave @ 08/06/2008 1:56:29 PM

Millions did you say? Obama's net worth is $1.3 Million. http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2007/moneymag/0712/gallery.candidates.moneymag/5.html
In 2005 they had an income of $1.7 million and in 2006 it was $991,000. McCain on the other hand has a net woth of $40 million and that does not include Cindy's networth which is estimated to be about $100 million.

      Great post.

I could NEVER vote for a candidate unless I liked his wife (Sorry Ronny, but Nancy was a b*****). In fact, the only reason I voted for GW is because I like Laura. Same with his pappy (who doesn't like Barbara Bush?).

Why don't we start a petition demanding a candidates' wives debate, so we can be certain that their husbands are sufficiently qualified to rule the free world?

Obama smoked crack cocaine and had gay sex in Chicago in the back of a limo with Larry Sinclair in 1999, when Obama was a state representative in the Illinois legislature. Sinclair filed suit on Obama and the Democratic National Committee to compel release of this information to the public on 2/11/08. Sinclair took a polygraph test on 2/22/08 and the results will be released to the national media early next week. (He passed with flying colors.) Check out WHITEHOUSE DOT COM for the details. Bill O"Reilly has stated that he will run with the story next week once he reviews the polygraph.

    • Posted By: raddave @ 08/06/2008 3:34:22 PM

According to whitehouse.com Larry Sinclair failed the polygraph tests, He was administered two and both showed deception.

    • Posted By: vma100 @ 03/28/2008 1:00:34 AM

Just watched the video on YouTube. This guy is so clearly reading from a prepared script, one which he probably did not even have the brainpower to write himself. His limo?! Yeah, right. Like he's ever even BEEN in a limo. Puh-leeze. How can you people be so gullible? How can you be taken in like this? Clearly it's because you want to believe the worst about Obama, even if it is blatant lies. Ridiculous.

    • Posted By: HolyRoller @ 02/24/2008 6:20:01 PM

Thanks for the info. Can't wait to see the response to this. I had a feeling Hussein Obama wasn't the good little mohammed all his supporters thought he was.

      NOBAMA!!!

      • Posted By: InTheSouth @ 02/24/2008 8:29:59 PM

If you go on there now you will see that the tests so far have indicated deception on the part of the accuser, although they haven't released any details yet. Still it looks like you might be getting all giddy for nothing, especially when you take a closer look at his accuser and learn how much of a fraud and a deciever he has been in the past.

        • Posted By: HolyRoller @ 02/24/2008 9:44:17 PM

I looked at the site also, and your correct. It does say there was deception. I can't wait to see the full report though. Nothing about Hussein Obama would shock me, as he has more baggage than any Presidential candidate than I can remember.

          NOBAMA!!!

          • Posted By: Jennfizz @ 03/24/2008 5:42:37 PM

Obviously you have a very short memory then.

        • Posted By: thetruthisthetruth @ 02/25/2008 3:48:53 AM

Sinclair was getting death threats so they had to move up the poly. I'd be nervous to. No one even knew about the location they were so scared for this guys safety. If it were nothing then why would someone being sending death threats? And who is the only person to gain from Sinclair being quite?

And Sinclair asked Obama thru his camp to take a poly also and he refused. That tells you everything you need to know about Obamas truth telling right there.

And SInclair filed a lawsuit against Obama, his manger and the DNC a few weeks ago. This guy is for real and will end Obamas campaign.

HIllary is a *** for being tough, but Michelle is not a *** for being tough.

Hillary is a *** for wanting to win, but Michelle is not a *** for wanting to win.

Hillary is a *** for being practical, but Michelle is not a *** for being practical.

Can you see the pattern? Anything a black woman does in support of her patriarchal dood is wonderful, but a white woman wanting equal footing with men is a ***. Sexism, you are alive and well; racism, you are reversed.

    • Posted By: raddave @ 08/06/2008 3:28:18 PM

I don't think either one of them are ***.

  • Posted By: thetruthisthetruth @ 02/25/2008 1:38:03 AM

Obama will never be president. If Obama sneaks in to get the nomination, Nadar will get most of the Hillary votes. The others will go to Mc Cain, a very few to Obama and the rest will stay home. And Obama loses.
In a landslide to Mc Cain. If the DEMS want a another DEM in the WH in Jan 2009, Hillary is the vote to cast. A vote for Obama today is a vote for Mc Cain as president tomorrow.

    • Posted By: raddave @ 08/06/2008 3:26:37 PM

Hillary is out of the race and is campaigning for Barack. If she can accept defeat, why can't you?

Michelle may be trying to keep her husband's and daughters' feet firmly grounded, but she herself moved to the White House already! And she worries whether we are ready for a decent man like Barak! I guess not!Madam Michelle ,let us ,sinners make do with 'un-Barak' Clinton. We richly deserve Hillary and you keep your man out of our lives lady.

In Obamas autobiography he talks about his tremendous ambivalence towards the United States and his questions of identity: "Am I American? Am I Kenyan? Am I Indonesian?" And this is the man some people want to see as president. He has no loyalty to the United States. God help us all if this man becomes president.

    • Posted By: raddave @ 08/06/2008 3:15:23 PM

Everone questions their identity when they are growing up, especially someone who is BI-racial. To say Obama has no loyalty to the U.S. is false.

I do not believe America punishes people who work hard. Historically, Afro-Americans have had to confront the unfortunate dilemma of running a race against an opponent who receives a 10 mile head start (to state the matter lightly). The small tokenism of a few Afro-Americans benefiting from affirmative action (a program designed to right the wrongs of America's "racist" past and present) is nothing compared to the overwhelming privileged that has come with being "white" in America. It is both strange and disappointing for a foreigner whose only experience of America has come through it's lofty propaganda, TV, and films and is not equally versed in or blatantly ignores the complete history of this country's treatment of blacks, hispanics, and immigrants to endorse a meritocracy that has never existed since the country's inception. The American Dream never was The American Dream. It was the White Entitlement and everyone else was left to dream.

It seems to me everyone is walking around blind. I think they have lost the sight of God in all they do. Afro-AMERICANS are racist and there is nothing awhite American can do to chane it for them, they have to open their hearts and do it theirselves. My skin is colored and I have never been ugly to a person because of their race. If you have good morals and live a respectable life things would be better for you. I feel if Obama or Clinton either one is president we all better make absolutely sure that God stable and secure in our hearts and daily lives.

I don't see how she can reconcile those comments with, say, any era in which american soldiers, now veterans fought for this country. And where was she during the 1st Gulf War, which I'm a veteran of? She wasn't proud then? We liberated Kuwait...that wasn't good enough for her? I'm appalled..and this "God damn America" business hammers the nail in the coffin. If Barack wins the nomination, I will have to vote for McCain, even though I'm a staunch Democrat.

    • Posted By: raddave @ 08/06/2008 2:55:22 PM

Michelle Obama never said she wasn't proud of the Soldiers of the U.S. Rev. Wright didn't say God Damn America, or Gad Damn White America, he said God Damn America as long as its government pretends it is God and believes it is supreme. In other words he was damning the American Government for its racist policies.
