    The Serb author of this article full of lies and propaganda (Cvijanovic) is here trying to teach the civilized world about Kosovo or Albanians. The trueth is: the civilized world is present in Kosovo since 1999 and THEY NOW THE TRUETH. The bombed Serbia to sto state-sponsored terrorism against Albanians in 199 and they recognized the well deserved independence for Kosovo. When it comes to criminal and drug smuglers, Serbia is DEFINITELY not any better than other Balkan nations. And do not forget: being a failed state (which Kosovo will never be) is still much much better than being an agressor towards all of your neighbours and killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo. We in the west understand the Kosovo issue and you do not have to try and convince us with lies and communist era UDBA propaganda.

    KOSOVO IS INDEPENDENT! No one can do a thing to destroy the positive energy that the Kosovars have received on February 17. Serbs in Serbia can organise millions of mass protests to express the anger for their political, cultural and social failure toward an open thought of modern society. KOSOVO is not Serbia. KOSOVO IS KOSOVO. Kosovo is all the people, communities who want to live freely and want a peaceful and good life in the future. Hasta la Vista, Serbia.

    Today, at 17:00 by local time, in Belgrade is mass protest against independence of Kosovo. I hope that you're going to informs about it.
    Serbian are tortured by Albanians, without electrycity, water, food, freedom. Kosovo is not in condition to be an independent state 'cause it's esablished by criminal, and the main people in Kosovo's government are linked with KLA. Albanians are not lambs, so everyone have to be careful with them.
    I know that soon will come the time when everyone will find that their made a huge mistake, breaking the interantional law and humilait UN.

    I dont it matters if serbia recognizes Kosovo. The western powers have and that is what matters. kosovo has suffered under serbia and now they are independent. Other people around the world should take note. Some countrys want to control people and not let them have true freedom. with this they have power. the time has come for a change. Always remember freedom is not free it comes with a price, but is worth the cost.

      :)) nino, nino, what can I do. I am what I am. I am not God and I can not change country where I was born. If I was born in Albania I would fight for Albania. Now I am fighting for Serbia, but please note only with facts. I don't think that everything I posted is sh.... as you said. Sky news is serious company, and people who made these movies are serious. That doesn't have anything with Serbs. Ok, we have some of the web sites but we posted pictures we got from you guys, that's all. I am not brainwashed, I am reading facts and truly believe in what I am saying. I like the most stuff that I read from third party, but there is no too much out.
      I think if you guys would not be so fanatic we could do much better and live much better. Personally I don???t think that you will be happy in the near future. So called independence will hold you for some time and then you will have to face everyday life and that is the law of Haradinai, Ceku and Taci mafia. They will not get a rid of their positions and their businesses, therefore you will have to suffer. It would be much better if you would have autonomy so you can enjoy thru democracy and state of law.

        Thaqi, Haradinaj, Ceku are freedom fighters. We fought for a good, for a just cause. Correct me if I am wrong but none of these freedom fighters came to Serbia killing people, torching their houses so when the war is finished they have nothing to come back to. Do me a favour please mate stop sending this links because you talk too much about facts and they could not be further from the facts.

    First of all I am not girl. Second, I am not brainwashed, at least not much as you are. Please try to avoid such a language and I will try as well.
    You have very little knowledge about former Yugoslavia. It is obvious because you don't know what all resources in Yugoslavia were used by all republics. By the way Trepca is anyway Serbian company on Serbian territory, so what is the problem? Dubrovnik wasn't bombed at all. Croatians were firing from the town and Yugo army fired back. Minor damage.
    All of you good people watch movie (for free), "Yugoslavia, The Avoidable War". Nora Beloff Guardian Editor, Lord Carrington, Peter Maher US Counter-intelligence service, etc. BTW Peter Maher was talking about Dubrovnik issue. Watch, don???t talk on blind and argue if you can???t back up your statements.
    Don???t you know that US allowed to Bosnian Muslims to ???import??? 5,000-7,000 mujahidins from the Middle East. What we could do. To wait until they slaughter our children?!     Bora... I spoke to the simple people in 1990 before the war start, when SFRY existed; they all wondered what the hell is going on. Simple, uneducated people didn't want to fight, they fought long enough. They know history from their grandparents. And religion has nothing to do with it. It???s the stubborn politicians and their greed for power.

    I have nothing to say??? next thing will be another country split, I hope the west to choke on its ???freedom??? doing one day. It would be fully deserved.

      My dear friend Yugoslavia accomplished its mission given by West. It worked like a neutral zone in the time of Cold War. After 1990 there was no reason to exist anymore, especially in German and British eyes.
      But the life before 1990 wasn't bad. Unfortunately it Yugoslavia was a utopia. Alia Izerbegovic wrote a book "Islam declaration" 1974 and Tito put him in jail. Book is talking about making converting Bosnia into radical Muslim country. 20 years after he came on the power and made it.
      Serbs can't forget that 1942 Muslims SS divisions came on Christmas when all family members are getting together and sweep out whole families. There was no mercy neither for kids. As soon as war started in Bosnia (it started when Muslim killed broom and his father in law on Serbian wedding service) Serbs got armed. And yes, some Serbs did terrible things, but it was reaction to more than 1000 people tortured and beheaded by Naser Oric guerilla groups.

        Some terrible things had happened in Balkans in the last 100-150 years. My appeal is that it was time to stop, Yugoslavia may have been in your eyes utopia, yet other countries dreamed for that utopia??? as they had even less then that. Romanians, Bulgarians, couldn???t imagine traveling freely, or having all the good Yugoslavia had. And instead to unite and help each other to prosper, we started to fight over stupid things. Lets Attack Bulgaria, they were with the Third Reich during the WWII if we would to follow your logic, or for the Balkan wars prior to that. What the hell you are talking about???

        The cold war was between the two different ??????isms???, the two opposing system fighting for domination. And who is to say what is to exist and not, them or you? Who did ask me what do I think is to exist? Is their reason to exist or not? I don???t want EU to exist but they don???t ask me, neither have they asked you???, did they? It is not your country to decide, so how come someone else will decide what is good for Yugoslavian Federation then the people of Yugoslavia 17-18 years ago? Or for Balkan Union in that matter, I remember how French and German jumped when the idea came out in early 1990. Saying it is bad idea. Why was that bad Idea? It was not bad idea European Union? Or One United Germany?

        Enough politicks. I???m feed up. And yes they will choke on us. Balkans withstood Ottomans; we will withstand the West as well. We just have to remember to make slivovica and all the good things the way we have had it for the last several centuries. Cheers to all even to my enemies, to die from envy.

    Vangeli! I think my sister-in-law's husand's family is from there. Is it pronounced "korchka'? Sorry, sometimes all of the Albanian names are confusing. We drove up the coast from Athens and stayed in the area below Vlore called Dhermi.

          Allah means there is no God but God, meaning there is only one God He is nor male nor female. But for those who cannot strech their imgination. Jesus god in human form, What a joke? I believe in Jesus I believe that he will come back. I don't have to defend Islam, Quran is the only holy book that acknowleges the bible and the tora, and all the prophets. Jewish people changes their holy book, new testament because they thought God doesn't know what he revieled to them?? Ok, christians wrote a new testament competeeng with tora. And Quran tops them all, never changed a single word since it was revealed. When the bible and the tora had "eye for and eye" the quran had " forgive, and love your neighbor. Most muslim people know about judaism and christianity and recognize them as religion of God. But few christians and less jewish know anything about islam. Those muslim terrorist that you call them, they are the ones who have lost hope because have been accupyed and killed by christians and jews for so long. Still those terrorist grups are few compared to the entire serbia, human killing machine. There is so much more to religion and God than saying I forgive while commiting crimes. Jeuses will help me. Jesus will not help those who kill no matter who they are. Educate yourself about other religions with an open mind, Saying my religion is better and Jesus will protect me is something that only children should be allwed to say.

            Jesus will protect me - I said it because I am a child - a child of God! I believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and through His resurrection I am saved by His Grace and not through any works of my own. Praise be to my personal savior Jesus Christ.

            For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him will have Enternal life. We can only be saved through Jesus Christ and must come to the Lord as CHILDREN.......

            So yes, I am a child, a child of the ONE and ONLY true God and He will save me.

            BTW, the Bible is the ONLY inspired Word of God - read it.

            The Bible speaks of love and the love God as for His choosen people - the Jews. Christian accept all.

            The Koran tells Muslims to kill the infidels - a rock will claim - oh Muslim, a Jew hides behind me, come an kill it. A tree will claim oh Muslim - come and kill the Jew behind me. ........ now that is TRUE hate.

            Christianity states to love all--------the Koran states to kill the infidels--------talk about lack of love and tolerance----------not to mention if you kill a Christian or Jew you get the big prize of 72 virgins.............now if a woman does her jihand thing does she get 72 virgin men? Who even came up with this ideas of sex in heaven - Mohammad? God sure did not.......

            The Bible explains God's love for us and that He sacrificed His Son. The Koran states that we must work hard and fear an angry God, but if we kill infidels we get a free ticket to heaven...........

            I choose the God of love and the atonement of Jesus since only a fool would be believe he could someone EARN God's Grace. Grace is a gift from God through Jesus....amen!

            I preach love, you preach more intolerance. Your view of Islam and Islamic radicalism puts you in the same boat as the hateful Serbs and the nuts in Al Quida. You are all crazy, psychotic zealots who only see things one way.

              We had an interesting conversation posting among Christian brothers and someone has to come along and whine that we our happy to say that we love Jesus Christ; moaning and complaining because we are not Muslim. To top it off making fun of Jesus - what a fool!

              You know what - get a life! The Muslim zealot is just one more piece in the puzzle that adds to the turmoil in the Balkans. I swear....maybe we can put the hateful Serbs and the Muslim zealots into a football arena to kill each other so their children can live in peace together.

    i lived in kosovo too,,and i saw the killing, torturing, of innocent Serbian people. I bet your explanation would be lame...so don't offer one. There is documented history of Serbian Orthodox monastaries, hundreds, all over Kosovo, that have been around since the late 900's. The terrorist KLA and other terrorist leaders of the Albanians have been systematically trying to destroy the evidence that Kosovo is Serbian. If the Albanians are so innocent, why do the Serbs have to be protected? Kosovo is Serbian, and I have full faith that God will see that Kosovo remains Serbian. It's unfortunate that the media controls what most Americans believe...and money buys the media. Because when the truth comes out, it will be known that America has a hidden agenda there and the Serbians are the victims in this whole tragedy. World War I started in the Balkans, WWII came shortly after. The consequences of allowing the Albanians to forcefully take Kosovo away from its rightful owners, the Serbians, is horrible. The current order of the world will shift and the possiblity of more wars, killing, etc across the world will be increase substantially, America! UK! EU...remember that Serbians have ALWAYS been allies, even at the greatest sacrifce of their lives. Historically the Serbs have done what is right...WWII The Serbs saved 500 US military airmen from the Axis powers.. the nazis...knowing that if they were caught it would mean they would die. How quickly the west forgets who has always been their friend. A saying I learned in Kosovo..."oteto prokleto"...remember that, Albania.

      Kosmet -if you lived in Kosova how come you still alive, you said you saw the killing...hmmm they didnt kill you.. whyyy is that..i know why cuz albanians didnt go to serbians houses and shoot the whole family icluding childern 4-5 family members at one time. albanians did not do what serbs paramiletery arkan and millosheviq did..that's why we are free today.. the honest right people always win!! and its DONE get over it you serbs..
