Since you studied many books over Albanians and Srbs can you tell us which ones. But not tell us books that are writen by the sort of writer that wrote this Journal on the Newsweek meanning not a srbian writer but international one or somthing like that, because serbian history is fully manipulated by their own interest not by reality.

I am a christian fom my very roots and the begining...since St. Paul preached the gospel in "Ilirycum" (Present day Albana) (read from the "romans" in the New testament of the Bible...and I was not baptized by force from Greeks....So that you know ..half of ny roots are Greek ...But , I agree with you that albanians or true albanians are not to be muslims but I beleive thatt they were turned by force from turks or otoman emire....That is not the issue...the issue is to live in love and peace...my firend.. and you can not do that by force....That's what the love of Jesus teaches me.....All the bests to you

You point is well understood and it is the main point of states that have yet to recognize Kosovo. The reason why I think you are wrong on your assumtions is that the differences with these other situations is that the context of the balkans was created in war in this period. The track record that the serbs had in Croatia and Bosnia ruined there credibility, these other situations that you refer to do not have instances where civilians are being brutalized mercilessly and drive away from there homes (over 1 million refugees in April 1999!!!!). On your second point regarding the future, I honestly believe that once further integration of the balkans into the EU family begins to take place, borders will not matter as much as they used to. Fostering economic growth is the key to the balkans and this is what will transcend ethinc hatred (that and newer generations without old hatreds). It is also foolish to assume the Serbs will jump into another war if and when foreign troops leave Kosova. The war torn history of the 90s, hyperinflation (millions of dinars for a dollar, remember??), unemployment, war-torn buildings/infrastructure and finally, bombs raining in Belgrade, not really sure if the serbian civilian population really wants to see a return of any of these factors if war was in the cards for the future.

Funny, why would the US join forces with the KLA if they were indeed a terrorist org? The KLA was the most successful rebellion that took place in the world in the last 20 years. We were labeled as terrorists by Belgrade, upon further due diligence on the part of the United States and NATO allies, they joined forces with the KLA to drive out the serbian terrorist forces in 1999 and liberate Kosova. These are the facts that the world knows of. Serbs have a history of twisting the truth to favor themselves, your intentions with these comments are nothing new. You should try accepting the truth for once and see how that works.

Dear Radonjic, I'm sorry for you that you are full of hatred and anger. Kosovar Serbs live equally as Kosovar Albanians, but there is a very little group of serbs in Kosovo that don't want to accept the reality. I know so many serbs, I have serb friends with whom I go often out for lunch breaks and they don't think as you do. They move freely and talk louldy in centre of Prishtina, Shterpc and Gracanica. I believe that people like you narrow-minded will disappoint the majority of them.
