It is amazing to see that, despite the clear indication in this article that disparities in (timely) accessing health care persist even when factors such as race and insurance coverage are controlled for, that commentators continue to ignore the conclusion that other factors must be at work. I guess it would just be too politically incorrect to recognize that factors such as differences in education, personal responsibility and intelligence could be at work. Even the author seems incapable of acknowledging the possibility.
