    What great choices
#1. Vote for the bumbling bubblreheads billiary cliton and eatspeaches billy, i told a fib clinton, as the first lady, we get socialism.
#2. Vote for alaobama and we get to replace the bible with the koran.

    Tough freaking choices.

Those who say Obama has no experience please answer the following

    1. What experience did Bill Gates have when he dropped out of college to form Microsoft Corp.
    2. What experience did Ghandi have when he decided to fight for India's independence
    3. What experience did General Patton have in fighting wars before he took on Hitler
    4. What experience did Jesus have before he started preaching
5 What experience did Martin Luther King have before he started his crusade
6 What experience did John Kennedy have before he ran for president
7 What experience did the founding fathers have when the declared independence form Great Britain
8 What experience did George Washington have before he led the war against the British
9 What experience di Winston Churchill have before he led Britain against the Germans

      Tony2001,
Your post gives us an idea of really what is the brains of Obama???s supposedly educated supporters: absolutely nothing. It unfortunately makes me realize that today, four years of college don???t necessarily make the majority of our young adults bright. This is sad: the future of this country does not look good. Therefore, as a responsible democrat who loves this country, if Barkus Obwamussama is the democrats' nominee, my financial contributions will go to John McCain and he will also have my vote. I have never done that before.

jonly your an idiot, please cast your vote for whomever you please. obama must be doing something right, because all you haters out there are crying about experience and all that bullcrap. so by saying hillary has experience because she was bills wife, your putting your foot in your mouth. while she was busy figuring out how to rule the world bill was getting busy with paula, gennifer, monica, and who else? anyone? just checking. if thats what you call experience then go ahead and vote for mccain. you'll still be a loser come november. :)

            Hobbes007:
You are a typical description of Obwamussama's supporters: angry, rude, constantly intoxicated and unintelligent, even with a 4 year college "education". You sound in your post like if you were under the influence of some kind of illegal substance. I believe that you are aware that consumption of those stuff is against the law everywhere in the US. Maybe one of the hopes that president Obwamussama has put in your little brain is "free distribution and consumption of booze, marijuana, cocaine, ...etc." Those illegal stuff will become legal under Obwamussama's presidency. You are dreaming dude!

              Jonly
please, rude? intoxicated? wake up, what has Hillary done that was so wonderful? I see nothing of substance in anything she says. If Obama is inexperienced than so be it. I won't fall for that same old same old. Look where we are at now and wake up and smell the coffee. We are rapidly falling behind other countries due to Lil Bush and his many missteps. We cannot afford to be making the same mistakes that Hillary or McCain will make if they are elected. They will not know how to make peace with other people, they will only antagonize them with the good old American shock and awe we have seen for the past 8 years. What a wonderful thought. If only you would see past your little minded diatribes about what Obama actually brings to the table, then maybe you would change your mind and vote for the best candidate out there. Obama 08.

all of these men had experience, do you honestly feel martin luther king just walked into the limelite, of course not, he suffered at the hands of cruelty for many years, he was experienced, as was john kennedy who grew up in a family of politicians and was being groomed for the presidency by his father joseph for years since the death of his older brother joseph jr. in world war II, he had many years of experience

one need not sit and be crowned the king, and be deemed not to have experience

no one steps into this position, including mr. obama unless there is motive to have him there, this is the highest office in the land, and only those who wish him to sit atop the throne such as the carl roves, will make sure he attains it

has nothing to do with experience, has all to do with political affiliation, read into that as you wish

anyone who thinks the president controls this country, better think twice about mr.obama, just another puppet on a string to do the will of the people, oops, sorry, the will of the plenty, and the plenty is "follow the money and that translates into power, and unfortunately, the people are not the power

  • Posted By: user7 @ 03/04/2008 1:20:42 PM

the most inspiring "words" i have ever heard by barack obama, "don't feed your kids potato chips for dinner", not if that doesn't give you words of inspiration, well, i really don't know what will, no wonder everyone is voting for him, they don't know what to feed their kids

  • Posted By: user7 @ 03/03/2008 4:04:40 PM

all the losers are coming out to endorse obama, kerry, kennedy, dodd, richardson, they can't win a race on their own merits, so they hope to ride into the winners circle on the coat tails of another loser, hopefully, obama

    "the word"

"Wall Street has been riding high on collective fantasies: That key insurers are in fine shape, economic news doesn't count, the dollar isn't in trouble and more risky loans will fix the mess."

    the obama words

  • Posted By: user7 @ 03/03/2008 12:10:10 PM

to the dumb and dumbiest, those who take pleasure in the following of the "obama cult", who ask no questions of this person, who follow at his behest with nothing in their empty minds but that he "talks to people", and runs a campaign funded by who?

do any of you empty heads ever ask who is funding this new found hero who seems to have all the answers to all the problems that exist not just in this country, but around the globe, just look at the headlines of today, their are fires to be put out all over the globe, and yet we have someone running for the presidency whose answers are not those of a leader, but one whose very rhetoric we cannot afford to have in the highest office in the land, "words are motivational, but words will not put out the fires"

think seriously before you vote, we had eight years of bush and look at all the problems he has created with his "rhetoric of words"

as well as farrakhan, and sharpton, and jackson, and brazile, and don't forget the mrs., not enough wings to go around, and lets not forget mr.lewis, so admirable of him to turn his back on someone who has done so much for his cause

You are living in the past. This is 2008 and most americans are ready to elect the most qualified person no matter what color he or she is. Someone who can sit down and talk to people instead of at them.Someone who knows how to run a campaign instead of having to use their own money(hillary/romney).

      • Posted By: user7 @ 03/03/2008 10:28:52 AM

not the past, the present, and the future of this country, and not based on the rhetoric of obama who has mesmerized those of you who have not bothered to listen to what he is saying, "which is absolutely nothing"

words can be very motivating, very inspirational, very moving, unfortunately so are cults, mr.obama, is saying just what he needs to draw people like you into believing his words rather than you scrutinize how, when, with what, is this change going to happen, YOU ASK NO QUESTION OF THIS PERSON, you just accept

just look at nafta, he has already put his wink and show to work getting the ire of canada saying one thing to his "people who believe he will CHANGE" and create millions of jobs because that is what he tells you, but he winks at canada telling them "its just an election ploy", it appears the only people who see through this "coming of the next messiah" are those who recognize him for what it is, "JUST TALK"

Yes, lets all vote for someone who tells us what we want to hear and tells us nothing real at the same time. I am a practical person and just because someone talks a good talk doesn't convince me to support him. I need something to back it up and Obama has nothing in his suitcase except well sounding words. HE COULDN'T EVEN MAKE UP HIS MIND HOW TO VOTE on how many occasions in the senate?

IF, Indeed OUR MILITARY is undersupplied, shake the hand of one of the liberal idiots
who wanted to quit funding the war. Hell, if your a soldier ANYWHERE in the world..you're
gonna use whatever means you have to fight the enemy. Now, he votes against funding
the war, then turns around and says "poor, poor military man is forced to use taliban
equipment" You can't have two opinions on ONE SUBJECT...YOU ARE A LIAR AND THE
TRUTH IS NOT IN YOU. GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA...ONE NATION,

He's right in that we cannot quit funding the war while we have troops there. That is why Hillary Clinton has promised to fund this war until we can bring these guys home safely. I, for one, will be glad to see them away from that place and home where they can begin to rebuild their lives. They deserve that. Also, Hillary will make sure that once they get here, they will be taken care of in a proper way. Not just discard them aside like Bush has done in the past.

After watching CNN the other evening after the Clinton Obama debate, I was disgusted with the biased reporting on that channel. There were four people discussing the debate - all of whom were for Obama and making negative comments toward Hillary. That is not fair reporting. I and my family know that Hillary made the most positive and informative comments but there was no one to take her side. I am planning on boycotting CNN and any other channel who does unfair reporting. Hey Guys!!! THE BBC IS LOOKING PRETTY GOOD THESE DAYS. You have some competition there and I'm a viewer.

    • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 02/23/2008 11:40:27 PM

Actually the BBC has always been the most accurate.

Cheap shots don't pay. Hillary's campaign attempted to make mountains out of molehills and the good people of Wisconsin refused to get distracted. You reap what you sow.

Please see comments from Dianness: You must be very young , need to do your homework , get some experience, and have an open mind, before you think you know enough about giving an opinion.

      • Posted By: unradical @ 02/20/2008 8:29:27 AM

Because obviously everyone who is voting for Obama is "young" and "inexperienced". Maybe the reason Hillary's campaign has lost the majority of young, and middle aged voters is because we're tired of hearing from the older generations that "we dont know any better". Its time for you all to step aside and let the newer generations have their chance at steering our country. You guys have had your chance, and frankly, we're not impressed.

        • Posted By: ports @ 02/23/2008 11:21:42 PM

I have noticed that most of the rude comments are made by Obama supporters. Youth does have it's drawbacks and cockiness is one of them. You certainly are no exception to that rule.

        • Posted By: ports @ 02/20/2008 1:29:45 PM

Well, if your rudeness is an example of the type of young people we raised, I can see why you're not impressed. My 23 year old son, however, is voting for Hillard Clinton because she has stated what she will do. Obama has sidestepped the issues because he is all "blow and no go".

        • Posted By: ports @ 02/20/2008 1:23:21 PM

No, but if your rudeness is an example of the youth we have created, you're right that we messed uyp there.

The argument that Obama supporters are stupid seems in contradiction with the fact that he wins the college educated vote by a huge margin while Hillary does best with those who dropped out of high school. Hillary's best core of support is AARP qualified white women like herself, and even in that demographic there are many, many women who see through her.

            Hey dude,

I know plenty of very stupid college educated. The extreme consumption of alcohol and illegal drugs in our University campus in the reason why most of these supposedly college educated people do not think rationally: their brain cells are fried up. Their favorite TV shows are Big Brother, American Idol and all the crap on MTV. I have the feeling that these people think that with Obama in the White House, it will be booze, marijuana and cocaine every day because harsh laws against the consumption of illegal substances will be reversed.

My question in relation to Obama???s claims that his presidency will reflect new ideas for the future, not warmed up ones from the past, is: will then president Obama revoke for example the Affirmative Action? Will he push for the ???enslavement reparations??? that many African American have been asking for? These are obviously policies from the past. I have no reason to be racist against blacks because I am black!

Are you serious? Mr. Obama has spent years and years in the trenches with people who had no voice and no hope before he started helping them. He has ample experience and, more importantly, ample compassion and astounding intellectual brilliance. And, unlike Hillary Clinton, he has more at his disposal than an empty, meaningless attack campaign. This campaign is not about race, and Obama's success has in no way harmed the Civil Rights Movement (what convoluted thinking!). It is about altering the trajectory that this nation has taken. The Clintons were a part of setting us off course. NAFTA is a failure because it was funded and sponsored by the special interests who had the Clintons in their pockets, and there was no long-term planning for what to do with Americans who would be thrown into unemployment and underemployment. Enough with the lobbyists and special interests running the U.S. I want my country back and that's why I'm voting for BARACK OBAMA!

    • Posted By: Dianness @ 02/20/2008 3:08:16 AM

Do your homework. Hillary has done the same kind of thing......and much, much, much more She ran programs for the poor, Afro-Americans, Disabled. She did this when she was younger before knowing Bill and after. As First Lady in Arkansas she developed an improved education program, healthcare, you name it. The Obamas are small stuff and are being given a free ride. I appreciate that you support them but real, you can't comment until you know what you're talking about. Internationally, the Clintons drew crowds larger than the last Pope. She, and they ,were respected and LOVED by the world. Obama is out of their league. The reason young people and perhaps you don't know all of this is either you are too young or haven't taken the time. May I suggest Carl Bernstein's latest book A WOMAN IN CHARGE. Remember him,, as half of Woodward and Bernstein's ALL THE PRESIDENTS MEN about Watergate.

      • Posted By: THE RAVEN @ 02/20/2008 12:54:07 PM

Dianness--your comments would be insulting if your stupidity wasn't so sad. How old are you?
When white kids do what you described Hillary doing as a youth, it is only for some kind of school credit. They are mainly FORCED to help poor, black or white children and communites.
No one should get any brownie points for wanting to help ANY Americans who are in need--regardless of their race.
I LIKE the clintons--voted twice for Bill. But not because of what he did for US (black people). And any reference to him being the first black president is an insult to black people--regradless of what igorant black person says it.
The fact that YOU keep trying to make an issue of her helping blacks merely demonstrate that the only issue you have regarding the Presidential race is RACE.
You are either so old you long for the good ol' days of the 60's and back, or you are of the younger, NEW breed of in-the-closet racist.

        • Posted By: ports @ 02/23/2008 11:07:06 PM

You said it all when you said you voted for Bill Clinton before. Now you are voting for a man just because he is black. Who's prejudiced now? You seem to be showing a glaring account of it.

        • Posted By: jbizzy @ 02/21/2008 12:37:14 AM

Dianness and Raven. I am truely enjoying the debates between the both of you. Raven, pale face is a harsh term to use when speaking of different cultures in this plubic domain platform. Dianness, get with the movement. I want to see if this country is ready to be equal to all races. As far as the Clinton's they used the black vote to get into office. Maybe Hillary should have ran for president the same time as Bush.

    • Posted By: Quizzical @ 02/20/2008 1:36:17 AM

Not about race"???? Then how do you account for Obama consistently getting 80-90% of the African-American vote??????

      • Posted By: Time for Change @ 02/20/2008 8:41:31 AM

Is this stiil an issue? How do you explain Wisconsin, Idaho, and Utah? Very few blacks.

        • Posted By: TH28754 @ 02/20/2008 11:09:40 AM

I would explain it 3 ways

          1) Some black people are voting for him because of race
          2) Some black people are voting for him because the prefer his policies or personality or whatever just like anyone else
          3) Some black people are voting for him because of Bill's comments
          4) Some black people are voting for him because Hillary gave up on us

and the one I think is the biggest reason of all

          5) The message of hope and change resonates with many black people

I list 1-5 to show that we are not all the same....we are a very diverse group and all pick candidates for different reasons. However, historically, hope and change has long been important in the black community...especially for the older folks that lived through Jim Crow and the Civil Rights movement.

I always think about that song...
I was born by a river in a little shack
and just like a river I've been running every since
It's been a long time a long time coming
but i know a change gon come

          • Posted By: nmallory @ 02/20/2008 2:23:49 PM

I think that people are voting for Obama because he is black. Yes, sorry to say, ingnorance is bliss. It's wise just voting for a person just because his/her race. With all the coruption going on in the world the main focuss in this election should be what he/she can bring to the table. This goes for the candidates too. When you focous your campaign on attacking the other opponent, you lose sight of the big issues. We are in the crissis of a holy war, we don't have time to battle each other with all the attacks rather than focussing on change and how to ratify the problem. All candidates need to look at, we have more voters in the recent years than we've ever had. This is the time for them to reach out while the have our undivided attention. I am all for Hillary because she has shown in the past as well as the present of what she is about. I don't feel she has given up on us. For example; Hurricain Katrina. But I do feel she makes mistakes by going after Obama the way she does. But nobody's perfect.

Everyone knows state senators are a step above local city council. I can say that I have more experience than Obama on this and for over 40 years I have worked to make other peoples' lives better. This morning one of O's state Senators from Texas was asked to name One thing O has done for his experience. Like so many he could name NOTHING when asked by Chris Matthews. The same thing happened when Pollster Lutz asked leaning O supporters to name ANYTHING they could about what he had done. Of the group of about 30 they could name NOTHING. Not even one could tell us why they would vote for him until one stated he gave such inspirational speeches. Hello is anyone using their brains. This country is in a real mess. If we don't get our acts together we're going to go the way of a hasbeen country. When I referred to Civil Rights I was referring to Afro American votes as high as 90% for O inSouth Carolina and elsewhere. This lowers their credibility when one considers what the Clintons have done to forward rights for Blacks {this weeks term for Afro Americans} NAFTA would never brought on the mess it has if "W" had been a responsible leader. The Clintons had a good idea but a poor executor {GWB}. I suggest you do some really intelligent research listing the Accomplishments of O and C before you generalize to give credit for O's years and years in the trenches helping people with no voices and no hope. Upon doing real research you'll see he really has done much, much, much less than Hillary. It is apparent you haven't noticed the attacks the O campaign that took Bill's comments that led to Blacks abandoning C and voting against her. How sad that they would abandon a real friend to vote almost lockstep. I must credit the 10% who still voted for C. They know what is important. For anyone to think O will be a joiner, not a divider has forgotten who else said this--GWB.

People keep talking about everything the Clinton's have done for black people. What have they done?

"He has ample experience and, more importantly, ample compassion and astounding intellectual brilliance."

You must be related to him or working for his campaign, because that is a pretty personal and specific assertion. If you plan to defend or support Barack Obama, at least pay respect to his track record, not how "compassionate" or "brilliant" he is; I actually think you're offending him. In other words, anyone can be compassionate, anyone can be brilliant, but it is how and what you do to prove those characteristics. Obama has failed to accomplish that essential part, and I think people are being mislead around that.

You know...you're correct on everything you've said about Hillary. The point is, she and obama both have similar views on policy and running the country. But lets face it, what politicians are missing now days are, honesty and humility. We need someone who can bring this Country and the world together. We don't need another President who is a hard a... and arrogant, who won't sit down with foreign countries because of there beliefs or who they associates with. Someone has to be Man/Woman enough to take that first step. There's nothing wrong with being humble. That's not weakness, to me that takes strength. It took strenght to go against the other Presidental hopefuls when that question was brought up in one of the debates. That's what we need in a President, espeacially in these times. We don't need a President who says what other politicains want to hear rather than what's in this Countrys/citizens best interests. I like Hillary, but it would be too much of the same old politics with long debates with Republicians and nothing would get done in a timely mannner because of stubbornness. I'm tired of it and now It's time for some new blood.

These last two weeks are a perfect example of just how mean spirited that Hillary is. It is no wonder that she was Bill's "Hatchet Man." She also expects a double standard for herself. She claims Barack needs more scrutiny (Even his Kindergarden records) while hiding all of her own records. Why is she afraid of showing her tax records? Is she afraid the American Voters will figure out how much she and Bill have been dipping into the pot? From Whitewater and her magical experience in commodities trading to Uranium mining, the Clintons have always made sure they got their cut first.

You make a lot of accusations that you know nothing about. What an arrogant person you are. Mean spirited? What do you call the attacks that Obama has made on the Clinton's? The Clinton's have put their own money into this race while Obama has sat back a enjoyed the money flowing into his pot. Where do you think that money comes from? Children like you should stay at home because you don't live in the real world. If Hillary was not accomodating the poorest of us, she would be reaping the money but look who's getting it and all the while people saying she's into Corp. interest. What a travesty of justice. Those good people are trying to help this nation get back to where it was before Bush took over and you advocate putting someone in the White House who knows nothing and says nothing about how he will do it. You have a candidate who just tails after Hillary like a child and trys to emulate her ideas all the while like a child just getting attention because of his "personality". Well, a good personality doesn't put a "chicken in the pot" as my good mother always told me. Work and experience does that and that is why we need Hillary Clinton as out next president.
