I do not understand what the hype is about Wisconsin. It has only 3 delegates! Obama may have won multiple states but the number of delegates is separtated by a margin of a few. I hope that Clinton wins Texas to futher and lengthen the race for the Democratic nomination. Duringthe horse race, they may split the ticket and pave the way for McCain. Who knows, but I will keep a vigilant eye on the Democratic Nomination ticket

Let's put it this way if it comes down to Obama and McCain who do you think will win? That's right! So, lets look at it from that angle...GO BILLARY!!!!!!!

All you pea-brained bigots better leave the country while you can--I hear they're really accepting of your kind in Lithuania, you can irrationally hate for scurrilous reasons all you want. You hardcore right wingers need to realize something: most Americans realize how retarded it is to discriminate against someone based on their name, race, etc. You people keep trying to play the bigotry card all you want and you will stay losing. Also, I can't believe the audacity of the people trying to press supposed Obama scandals given Clinton's record, you REALLY don't want to go there.

Retarded?...... Honestly I find it hard to view you as progressive.

  • Posted By: tesapin @ 02/20/2008 1:12:07 PM

I think it is hard for some people to realize what real americans really want, Real Change. America is voting and the truth is Obama is the right candidate, at the right time.

  • Posted By: rexreese @ 02/20/2008 1:12:07 PM

So, Han3632, you're saying that Obama is the Manchurian Candidate, and that he'll shoot himself?

  • Posted By: monte449 @ 02/20/2008 1:12:01 PM

America doesn't want to admit that a woman in office is going to do a better job than any man ever did. That is why all these people are voting for Obama, they want to get rid of Hillary.

Bill brought NAFTA here and Hillary was "all for it". Now she says outsourcing is a bad idea and that she knows how people who have lost their jobs feel. B.S. She doesn't know how I feel. I lost my job to outsourcing. She is a "multi-millionaire" and has absolutely no idea what the poor and middle-class need. She will say and do anything to get a vote. She is old-school politics, making deals under the table and telling the public what they want to hear.

I'm tired of her constant whining about Obama not having experience. By the way Hillary, how much experience did JFK have when he was elected.

Mike- Obama and his wife are not doing so bad financially either. Hillary did not come from a wealthy family like some politicans have.....I don't think Obama will be any different than any other politican and frankly the American public doesn't even know everything there is to know about this man either.......like we know Hillary..............Obama has ALL these promises of CHANGE, but what I want to know is exactly how intends to do this...He is in the MAN club.....Really a woman can't do any worse for this country.......

I think the last two weeks is a great example of just how mean spirited Hillary Clinton is. She also expects a double standard for herself stating that Obama needs more scutiny while hiding all of her own records, including tax records. Is she afraid that there are irregularties that will show up or that voters will realize just how much she and her husband have been dipping into the pot.

It's quite clear what's going on here. People are getting sick and tired of the same old Washington Politics. What this country needs is a refreshing new candidate not to get back on track but to shake things up and put this country in a new role. I'm sorry bit with Clinton; it will be just the pendulum swinging the other way again. If you want politics as usual, vote Clinton, if you want something new and accountable, vote Obama.

Clinton took the electorate for granted and deserves to be playing catch-up. She has been out-campaigned, out-thought and out-played. Obama has paid attention to detail, while she relies on the big states to rescue her flagging fortunes. In a democratic America, this comes across as 'the little people don't matter.' Said little people are taking offense and voting with their feet. Hillary Clinton is a talented politician, but some of her tactics appear ridiculous. The Night Shift may yet prove to be another nail in her campaign. Instead of empathy with struggling folks who work to make ends meet, she may be identified with the Commodores song of the same name that talks about influenhtial people who have passed on!

I agree with Jamerican Princess - What are H. Clinton's plan for the poor and middle class. I think she planned for us to vote for her and her horrible record of protecting us. Go Obama!

    Where's that indipid John Alter?

He has backed Hillary from the start.

  • Posted By: tesapin @ 02/20/2008 1:09:41 PM

I think its hard for some to realize what real Americans want. Obama's victory's are clear evidence that it is indeed time for change.

The Clintons being evil selfserving people will perform the dirty work for the Republican by attemping to destroy Senator Obama. They will soon start a mass campaign of exposing his close personal friends and contacts. As a matter of curiosity I hear speculative rumors that he might choose Ms Clinton as his Vice President. If he does I hope he has his will and his personal affairs in order. The Clintons will do anything to reach their goals IMO

  • Posted By: pablodavid @ 02/20/2008 1:07:19 PM

No, I haven't jumped in the Obama wagon....but I must say that the Clintons negative campaing is so pathetic. And that's why it has no traction...people are sick and tired of it. Then again, it is obviuos that the Clintons are getting desperate...

  • Posted By: rexreese @ 02/20/2008 1:06:59 PM

How'd we get on the race issue here?

The story is that the Clintons are done.

Free, at last. Free, at last.

  • Posted By: amgijgrcg @ 02/20/2008 1:06:44 PM

It is possible that Clinton's negative campaigning actually gave Obama name recognition. Something that Obama has said until recently was lacking. If the nominees amount to Clinton and McCain, I will write in Obama. Yes we still have an option of writing in...

Wow southberwick19...what a ridiculous comment! Does anyone else smell a Clinton plant? It is actually amusing to watch Clinton supporters grasp at straws and try to pursue this ridiculous "Islam" link to Obama. It is false. It is bigoted. It is racist and it reeks of desperation. Better luck next time Hillary and all of the supporters who are trying (unsuccesfully) to lie Obama out of the race.

  • Posted By: obamaischange @ 02/20/2008 1:00:15 PM

I wished I hadn't taken the time to read what you wrote ...... southberwick19...... Why is it that some people will go to grave lengths to try and down grade this man...... There are groups for your kind and you should discuss your concerns with them as they are the only ones who care to hear it.....

AS A REPUBLICAN, I SEE A REAL DANGER IN BOTH DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES. THEIR LEAN TOWARD SOCIALISM IS A BIG CONCERN FOR ME. I BELIEVE MCCAIN WILL DO MANY OF THE THINGS THE DEMOCRATS WANT SUCH AS RAISING TAXES AND TRYING TO GET NATIONAL HEALTH CARE. I THINK WE NEED TO LOOK AT NATIONAL SECURITY AND SUPPORT FOR THE TROOPS AS THE BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE TWO PARTY PLATFORMS.

see this: notion behind excusing donations of under $200 from the reporting requirements was that the sums were insignificant from an ethical perspective. "The idea is, it is too small an amount to worry about in terms of you're not going to buy significant influence or access for $200," a spokeswoman for Common Cause, Mary Boyle, said.

However, one area of concern with the flood of donations, particularly those made online, is that foreigners could be weighing in illegally in an American election. Mr. Obama's Web site allows donors to choose an address in one of 227 possible countries or territories, including Iran, Iraq, Zimbabwe, and Yemen.
