Ubfortunatelly to the American people, the media take it job very trivial, for them the rating is more important that the future of our country, it has failed to inform the American people how well prepared are the CANDIDETES to perform the job, no any job, but the job that will conserve our country as the best in the world in all means, ECONOMICALY, MILITARILY, ETC ,ETC..... After the big experience with George W. Bush, the media seems not to learn anything about how to help the country in the right direction, it just got blind and went with the hysteria of the crowd and thinking "rating, rating, rating??? REMEMBER TRY TO REMEBER, George W. Bush when he was campaigning for president HE CAME WITH THE BRILIANT IDEA HE HAS SPOKEN WITH GOD, and the crowds got hysteric, as well as the media. Who was worse the media or the crowds? No one used the brains, no one made the necessary questions to know the candidate well or how well prepared he was for the job. Due to the failures of George W. Bush, our country is at the door of a economical bankruptcy, in which all of us will be involved" no exceptions???. Who ever reads this piece, think about you, your family, your friends, your business etc , etc.", all of us will be part of the bankruptcy and will suffered it. Thanks to George W. Bush???s poor skills for the job, we have plenty more enemies than in 2001, and we attacked the wrong country. He gave us a big bag of lies, no body questioned him. Apparently no body in the media world knew anything about Iraq. What a shame, anything George W. Bush, said, the media passed it to us in hysteria. The media should weak-up and inform the American people now during the process of electing the new president the REAL ???HISTORY/RECORD ??? OF PERFORMANCE OR THE LACK OF ???RECORD/PERFORMANCE ???OF EACH CANDIDATE. Hysteria just for the rating is no good. REMEMBER: When the father of George W. Bush, ended his term, he left the country in bankruptcy. Many, many corporations were under the protection of chapter 11 of the bankruptcy law, among them Merry Lynch, Macys, Bloomindales, Lord and Taylor etc. etc. Two thirds of the American people were paying the mortgage late. Millions were unemployed. WHO RESCUED THE COUNTRY OUT OF THIS CONDITIONS???.BILL CLINTON!!!!! and when he finished his term the country had a surplus. When you participate in a process as big as the rescue of the country (with your family or coworkers), you learn a lot. The media do not mention this facts now because probable they do not bring any rating to them and they are part of the hysteria. Hopefully we will elect the right person for president, remembering the George W. Bush???s poor skills for the job and the consequences we are having and will have and the media hysteria that took us there without thinking twice.

I Hope the rumors are tru about Obama choosing Hillary as vice president, i mean he needs some substance, someone has to have the balls to make decisions and get our country back on track and clean up Bush's sloppy mess of running our country into the ground because of greed. Obama is winning people over because he is a motivational speaker, he knows what to say to americans to try and make us believe he is the right choice for president but can he back it up? i highly doubt it and i think it will be like the last presidential election if obama wins the democratic party. We will have the option of choosing bad or worse. We need a Clinton back in office to get things back on track.

the MSM just doesn't get it...the people of this country hate Bill and Hillary Clinton...period..it is the only reason Obama is where he is and it is the reason the Republicans have a real chance to keep the White House for 4 more years.

What is more bigoted - being racist or being sexist? I'm not a big fan of either, but Hilary clearly has more experience and is more realistic overall. Obama's lofty speeches are inspiring, but where's the substance? I fear he is all icing and no cake.

Hey, Hillary campaign worker. How is your smear tatics working? I am related to Mao, and let me tell you the new generartion of leaders in China are eyeing for Obama. You, however, needs to take this one sitting down.

I find it interesting that Billary has suggested she may cancel the debate on MSNBC in retaliation for the comment regarding "pimping out Chelsea". This is after she received an apology from MSNBC. What happened to Hillary being able to "take it"? Another lie? She's the one that wants all the debates and faulted Obama for not dropping everything and debating her more. Now, she may cancel??? Could it be she thinks MSNBC is unfavorable to her? Now that she's going down in flames, we can expect more negative ads and assaults on Obama. She and Bill need to just go away before they become total embarassments to themselves and the American people.

    • Posted By: morningthunder @ 02/20/2008 3:41:44 PM

I agree with you that Bill and Hillary are an embarassment to the American people. Shame on you Hillary for attacking Obama!

I have been reading the comments being posted here. I must say that here is a varied opinion about the goings on of our country. To me, and I speak for myself and not any party in partiular, we are so divided as a country. It seems that there are 2 countries each trying to take over the other. I certainly believe that diversity is a good thing. How boring if we were all exactly alilke. However, it seems that we are at war right here. The one place that is supposed to represent freedom from opression. I have yet to hear any of the candidates even indicating the possibility that is what we are supposed to have. Also, the people posting here are doing the same thing. It seems to me that it doesn't matter which party wins this election, our country wants our boys and men and sons and daughters home and not fighting on foreign soil. It is a very sad thing that we are loosing loved ones over there, whichever place they are in. So we will bring them all home and we won't have to worry about loosing them over "there". We can loose them here when "they come here and we get to fight on our own soil. What the heck. We're already fighting each other.

In case any of you are wondering. I am a registerd Republican and I am in that AARP generation. That makes me from the Viet Nam era. I just hate to see our country going where it's going. I love this country and I am VERY proud to be an "American".

    Hey Vote4all,
What about white women over 50 voting for Hillary. Why don't those voting statistics bother you. You don't think your hero Hillary hasn't kept a few visits quiet. The fact is that a cross section of America is voting for Mr. Obama, he wouldn't have cleaned Hillaries clock the last ten states otherwise. Check out those voting statistics, 10 straight! Wooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Posted By: dunwithpolitics @ 02/20/2008 3:28:53 PM

vote4allL you are comparing Obama to Bush as a "well meaning idiot with no experience, no plan, and no real opinion." I would have to say that Bush was never well-meaning, spouted all kinds of plans and flouted his opinion regardless of what the rest of the world thought. Hiliary will bring more of the same. Fighting only for her side because it is her side regardless of what is actually good for the country. For those of you who are harping that Obamam is a ll words and no substance; tell me what substance Hilary or any other politician in the past has given us? All of the grandios plans for Health Care, Social Security, Economy, Foreign Relations. The feed us drivel that we want to hear and they never expect to follow through on. I would rather have someone with new energy, enthusiam, and intent to change how our governemnt works that any more of the past performance from those with "plans and substance". That has proven to be a failed path.

Facts are facts...do we as voting Americans want someone in office as President who has made changes worked with legislation and congress on various bills/reforms...or do we want a person whom to this day I have not heard any accomplishments during thier time in politics (last night one of Obama's biggest supporters, who a senator, could not list anything he has done politically while being interviewed by Chris Matthews). For me it is a matter of EXPERINCE, if Obama is to win my vote I want to feel secure in knowing he will emerse himself with the company of EFFECTIVE, EXPERINCED people in office with him. Who will be his VP? Hillary has alot of experince and I feel she has what it takes to get America back in shape...If Obama had accomplished and been around as a Senator as long as Hillary has it would be a different story.

      During the first - 8 - eight
years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills.

      bills,

      > 21
      ethics reform bills,
      > 15 gun control,
      > 6 veterans affairs and
      many others.

His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427.

      These inculded:

      **the
Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 - became law,

An impressive record, for someone who
      supposedly has no record

This is for excusesnomore08: Of course you find it hard to understand because you only listened to the excerpt the media gave you. If you did your research and listened to the WHOLE speech your ignorance would not be so obvious. This election is not about Black or White, it is about which candidate represents you the best. To make the statement blacks have no real role models or success stories WORTH mentioning is another sign of your IGNORANCE! It seems as though the TV is your only source of Black History, I challenge you to go to Black Community or talk to a Black co worker (if you have a job) to find out if you indeed know the facts.

Any comments that infer that Senator Obama is ahead because of being black is rediculous and shallow minded. Being a white male in my 50's, I am offended by any suggestions that Barack being ahead is due to him being black. Stating that race has any thing to do with it is insulting the white, black, brown, women, men, etc. who see Barack as a person who is not part of the 'good old boy' and is ready to make some real changes in Washington for the betterment of this country. I think it is way past time for a younger individual no matter what color or gender to make changes. and Barack Obama is that individual.

  • Posted By: beachthugs @ 02/20/2008 3:07:11 PM

    Hey Vote4all,

People like you make this race about a black president or a woman president. too bad for you it's not about a white president. change your name to vote4white. don't be a sore loser.
