Southberwick19: I'm frightened by your ignorance.

There must be several ignorant people in the last 10 states Obama has won.

  • Posted By: AlwaysforHillary @ 02/20/2008 1:34:19 PM

THE REASON HILLARY MAY BE LOSING VOTES IS BECAUSE THE MEDIA HAS BEEN BIASED SINCE DAY 1. EVERYTHING POSITIVE FOR OBAMA AND NEGATIVE FOR HILLARY! IF HILLARY HAD PLAGIARIZED AN ENTIRE SPEECH OF SOMEONE ELSE, THE MEDIA WOULD BE TALKING ABOUT IT FOR WEEKS OR MONTHS, BUT IT'S FINE FOR OBAMA TO DO. THIS MAN HAS BUILT HIS WHOLE CAMPAIGN ON RHETORIC SO HIS WORDS SHOULD BE HIS OWN!! WHY DOES HE HAVE TO "BORROW" LINES FROM SOMEONE ELSE???

    • Posted By: realtruth @ 02/20/2008 1:55:49 PM

Enter aYour Comment at least he can deliver a inspiring speech , and what politican out there still writes there own speeches . Get real Im sure hillary has a speech putting her words together . She should fire him or her ; because all she has done is put her foot in her mouth .

    • Posted By: cook28 @ 02/20/2008 1:44:33 PM

I borrow lines everyday, I want the news coverage. I don't site reference either. Move on, it's petty.

Hi Obama, I did not know you read this..

tvm1963 great idea about taking care of our domestic issues. One of our BIG domestic issues at this time is gas prices, if we don't help take care of foriegn affairs, where would you propse we get our oil? From our wells, you say? They are selling our american gas to India, because they pay a better price. While everone is listening to the issues discussed by the candidates, and what they will, and promise to do, ask yourself this question... Will they have the power to make these changes? Won't it have to go though both houses? My opinion is that we shouldn't worry so much about who is in the White House, but maybe worry about who we put on Capital Hill in the Houses.

I dont know what the hype is about Wisconsin, I am still trying to figure it out. It only has 3 delegates! Obama may have won multiple states but the margin between Clinton and Obama is a narrow gap, I think .04% (dont quote me). I am looking forward to the primary in Texas and and vying for Clinton, because it will even proling and lengthen the nomination race. The Democaratic ticket may even split the Democrates and pave the way for McCain to take it all. Who know, but it will be and historic election.

    • Posted By: steveh212 @ 02/20/2008 1:55:37 PM

Wisconsin has 92 delegates. And last time I looked (with 99% reporting) Obama had 58% of the state to Clinton's 41%. As far as everyone saying a longer contest for Democrats gives strength to the Republicans-- not convinced it could play out like that. From my perspective, The Republican turnout seems to be waning now that the nominee is pre-eminent. Yet the excitement for the Democrats is only building. In Wisconsin (and many other states, too) Obama received more votes (646,007) than all of the Republican candidates-- COMBINED! (403,473). So did Hillary for that matter (452,795). I think it is the excitement that could really create a tidal that may carry the Dems right through the election.

did obama's wife say "she finally loves america", what if he loses, will she take it back, or will there be riots in the street as mayor wilde has stated if the superdelegates go for hillary, the excitement builds, what will the media say, what will carl rove do is just as important, after all, iran waits for that cloud of smoke bush keeps promising them

WHAT IS AFRO-AMERICANS? YOU MUST BE SURE OF A NOMENCLATURE BEFORE YOU PRINT.

    • Posted By: Dianness @ 02/20/2008 9:48:26 AM

Afro American is the term used on some Federal Statistics, It is used instead of the longer tern of African Americans,; in case you were trying to be elite or snide. There is more important work to be done than wasting time on this. Incidently, if you spent more time at learning about the candidates you might be more enlightened. The Clintons have done more for Blacks, AfricanAmericans, whatver your preference than the O's.. It's a shame that people haven't done more to understand what is at stake. It is great thatO can motivate so many but be careful what you are maesuring about the results. So many have given their support without thoroughly investigation. What clever ploy to say the time is now when he could have prepared himself better, if he is sincere about what he wants to do with this country. The stakes are too important. This country is on its way to being a SUPER Third World Country. He doesn't have the EXPERIENCE. Compare the backgrounds of the candidates with real information or your opinion means just another nobody spouting off. I respect your desire but not your lack of input. Garbage in, garbage out.. You can do better.

      • Posted By: THE RAVEN @ 02/20/2008 12:29:49 PM

Dianless--what in the world have the clintons done for black people? You are out ot your mind! This is the twenty-first century, and you pale faces STILL believe you can tell black people what to do and how to think. Those days are long gone. Your opinions and views mean nothing to us. If you people say it's cold--it must be hot. We don't and never will trust you people. You can't even think for yourself or do ANYTHING right.
We have a president who is personally profiting from the war, along with some of his friends.
This country is on its way to a so-called "super third world country" (which is a racist remark, you idiot) because of the super stupid, ignorant white men who have been driving this country to ruins for the past century or so.

        • Posted By: AntiKoolAid @ 02/20/2008 1:54:04 PM

The term is White, Caucasian, or White American - not the racist term "pale face". I love it when one ignorant bigot meets another ignorant bigot. Let the games begin!!

        • Posted By: AntiKoolAid @ 02/20/2008 1:50:08 PM

How dare you use the racist term "pale face"! It is Caucasian, White, or White American. I will ignore such blatant race-baiting in the future, just as I will ignore Shrillary.

  • Posted By: C140 @ 02/20/2008 1:53:53 PM

Obama is DEFINATELY the choice... Clinton needs a wake up call, I SERIOUSLY DOUBT the president is the hardest job in the country! C'mon.... Way to put down the working class and say we are inferior. YES WE CAN!!!

  • Posted By: GTX13 @ 02/20/2008 1:53:38 PM

All attacks against Hillary is a weakness of Husein's mercenary army, paid by Oprah's billion Dollars, dirty money from a crazy and degenerated press and media TV. I hope the people from Ohio, Texas and Penn will realize the pure truth and will change the election trend which driving America on the wrong and catastrophic way fo this Nation.!! Because it is all about the race and gender intoxicated propaganda !!

I think it's unfortunate that Democratic America has ceased looking at the issues and the specific messages and qualifications of the candidates purporting to best confront those issues. Voting America appears to be comforted by the hypocrisy that Obama speeches sound like college hall council speeches with particular emphasis on race relations. Just a few months prior to the Wisconsin primary, Michelle Obama told Chris Matthews that "... Black America will eventually wake up." Meaning? Race counts. Moreso than any other issue on the touted platform, moreso than any other diverse subgroup in America contributing to votes and Obama's payroll. However, America DID rail against Clinton when she praised a women's college for the opportunity to reflect on her gender as a point of strength. No mention has been made again of the advantage of being a female in a primarily male-dominated race for the White House. Why, America, is it acceptable to focus on racial votes exclusively? Does that not keep us divided on a broad scale? Senator Bob Johnson has proclaimed his support for Clinton for many reasons, one of which that she encourages all elements of voting populations, and does not seek specific votes from specific populations, thereby excluding the importance of other racial and minority group votes. And age? Can Obama say that he identifies with aging Americans, disabled Americans, Asian Americans, White Americans? And, can he acutely understand and redirect current policy on prescription coverage, managed care reform, and social security issues? The Clinton campaign, again, has deliberately not made age, as with gender and race and orientation, etc., a voting selling point to specific populations. This double-standard which Democratic America has eagerly accepted promotes further problems and, as of yet, has NOT been solution-oriented. Have potential voters watched the debates and read between the lines? Clinton speaks, not in 'double-talk', but solution-based diplomatic terms which seeks to be inclusive of all voter issues and voter characteristics, and whose grammar and concepts obviously appear to elude Obama supporters. How sad that we would perpetuate the Bush legacy under a new party name.

As a NY resident I can say that Hillary has done next to nothing for our state, so how can she be expected to bring great change to our nation? She also flip-flops on issues so much that its pathetic! For example: In NY a law was proposed that would allow illegal immigrants the right to obtain a drivers license. When Elliot Spitzer first proposed the idea, Hillary was all in favor of it. Then, after the proposal was shot down in the press and the legislature, Hillary talked about how she didnt approve of the idea from the start!

I also want to know how people can expect her to be aware of all the important issues that face our country when she wasnt even aware that her husband had been having relations with interns right under her nose?

    • Posted By: cook28 @ 02/20/2008 1:52:43 PM

Remember all the education reform promised? I'm still waiting, oh to late, my kids have already served as casualties. If she can't help as senator, I couldn't think what she wouldn't do as president.

Should a man that cannot and does not show respect for our flag and our county be the #1 man that runs this county? I am a democrat but I thing I am going to change parties. Also the Mrs. make a state that "for the first time in her adult life she is proud of our county". I do not know how old she is but where has she been, maybe she should live in some other country. I do not think I want her as the first Lady of the county.
I just believe if you live in this county , you should respect all that it stands for. He did go to a Catholic Church, but he is Muslim, check your records,I have.

I believe words that are sincere. Obama's word are spoken from the heart. When someone truly believes the words that they are speaking, they will make those things happen given the chance. I prefer this to the other candidates that just say what they want us to hear and then do the opposite once elected. At the very least you can trust Obama means what he says.

I UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT EXPERIENCE BUT REALLY DOES IT MATTER HOW MUCH TIME A PERSON HAS BEEN IN POLITICS BECAUSE IF THATS THE CASE BUSH SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN IN OFFICE TWICE .HE HAS BEEN IN POLITICS A LONG TIME AND MESSED UP TRAGICELY TWICE. SO TIME SHOULD NOT BE THE MAIN REASON FOR NOT VOTING FOR SOMEONE DIFFERENT

  • Posted By: user7 @ 02/20/2008 1:50:47 PM

oh do i see another bush smoke cloud in the form of as many lies as the media has dumped on hillary clinton, and her husband, vote obama, just what we need another four years of incompetence, and rhetoric, you all deserve it with your stupidity

Don't you idiots realize that Dems or Republicans are not for you. They are for themselves only. They both disappoint me in every possible way. We need to take back our government like Thomas Jefferson said we could when the government becomes an enemy to the people. Here's my wish: Every elected representative in Washington gets to serve for six years and then they have to go back to a real job. No more of these lifer jokers like we have now--both democrat and republican.

  • Posted By: hobbs @ 02/20/2008 1:50:25 PM

PLEASE!!!! Let's not vote for a candidate based on the fact that he/she will be "THE FIRST"!! Vote for the candidate that you feel will help this country and better our children's future. I understand that it may be a pride thing, like you said, but pride is not going to run this country, a good candidate will. I am a voting democrat and I like both candidates, but I will make an informed decision based on their views, etc... not based on pride alone.

Not 4 Barack ....... If Hillary could handle anything that is thrown out at her........why did she not thank Wisconsin in her speech last night........ she sent Chelsea to Hawaii on her behalf...... why didn't she thank the small crowd of people that believed in the bull she's been spewing.... why not thank them.... She didn't thank them because she has no class. She didn't get her way so now she's done with the state.... Barack is here in Dallas and there is a large crowd of supporters there........ I guarantee she will not sweep accross THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS!!!!!
