The Obama Delusion

It seems Obama not only copied off Clinton's and Edwards' papers to come up with is policy platforms, but he also copied off of Patrick's paper for his message of hope, and his inspirational shtick. It's disappointing, but I always did have this icky feeling about him, like he was trying to sell me something, similar to a late night TV commercial, that would make me happier, smarter, and shine my shoes. Those products rarely, if ever, live up to their sales pitch. Sadly, the only one in the race who, IMO, was genuine, who didn't take any of their dirty money and wasn't beholden to anyone, who told the truth was Edwards, but he wasn't exciting and shiny enough for this American Idol competition of an election.



There's barely a wisp of difference in Clinton's and Obama's policy proposals, but this guy's got a large segment of the population running around starry-eyed like they've found the answer to all the divine questions. Sometimes, if it seems to good to be true, it's because it is. His "uniting" has left the party bitterly divided and people who two years ago would have defended the Clintons against the kinds of scurrilous attacks Limbaugh and Colter would assert, now making those same attacks themselves. He's a snake charmer, a con man, and a fraud. He's never deserved all this adoration. The American people needed a fix of "hope" and inspiration after the last 7 yrs. of darkness, destruction, and war. They needed it, so he became it. Well, don't look at the man behind the curtain.



Grown ups face reality and problems head on, instead of fabricating a fictional superhero.

Hillary brags of her 35 years of experience. What exactly has she accomplished in all that time? She already screwed up health care reform. Why should we believe she won't fail again. If she and Bill really had integrity and compassion, they would back off, support Barack and then help him fulfill his goals as president. I'll take an overly optimistic, inspirational and mostly honest Barack over an equivocating Clinton any day.

Thank you for reminding everyone that the would-be emperor has no clothes. His qualifications are not much more impressive than the average member of a local school board. He is a senator because he ran against Alan Cranston. Next time can I run against Alan Cranston?

Thank God someone has finally spoken about this!! Wake up America! Take a good look at this guy beyond the rhetoric. I'm not willing to put my vote forward for someone that I don't feel absolutely confident can do the job. I was a Clinton supporter early on and remain so because she brings so many years and history with her. What don't we know about Hilary:? Not much! Can we say the same for Barak? I'm as impressed as everyone else by his speaking skills and his ability to inspire a crowd. But do I think he is capable of running this country and effectively bringing about the change that all of us want? Absolutely not! I agree with phencosme, I'll be glad to vote Republican for the first time in 35 years if Obama wins the nomination!

It is about time we Americans can look forward. Our international audience has a clear choice- let us finally join the world community.

The devil you know aka 'experience' is insufficient basis for an election. Hillary Clinton is a known quantity, but after the unmitigated Dubya Disaster, I have no appetite for Clinton the sequel. Obama had the problem of low name recognition, his change slogan has largely overcome this. Are we saying that younger candidates who happen not to be career politicians need not seek high office? I hope that President Obama will build an administration filled with experienced people. He need not embody all the skills he will require.

Barack Hussein Obama is now and has always been a Muslim. He was born to a Kenyan Muslim father and an American mother. His mother and father were divorced, but shortly thereafter she married another Muslim from Indonesian, Lolo Soetoro. As a Christian Woman, Barack???s mother had to convert to Muslim to marry Muslim men. By choosing a second Muslim husband, it shows that she was indeed a devout Muslim. The family then moved to Jakarta, Indonesia (a Muslim County that is known for harboring terrorists) in 1967 where Barack attended local Muslim schools from age 6 to 10.
It is my Believe that Barack Obama chose to join a Christian churche just to achieve his Goal. He knew that he would never be elected president as a Muslim. As a Muslim, it is permitted to lie for the Muslim cause. It is equivalent to Muslim Jihad (holy cause).
Barack Obama lied about his religion, lied about growing up poor, and lied about his father being a non-practicing Muslim. If he lied about such important things, how can he be trusted to run the United States? When a Muslim becomes the head of a country the country is automatically a Muslim county. It is as if the country surrender to the Muslim peacefully.
As a young couple Bill and Hillary Clinton risk their lives for the Freedom movement; and in New York she worked hard and dedicated most of her time to change the life of the black community. Today the black community practically spit in her face.
The black community should know that the Muslim people were the ones who captured black people and sold them as slaves. They also should know how the Muslim people using ethnic cleansing and genesis in Africa and uses the healthy non-Muslim woman as slaves.
Complaining about sending money to Iraq? How much money will be transferred to Kenya?
All civilized people, should be ever mindful of the Muslims':
1. Creed - Everyone will be a Muslim, Subservient or dead, and None Muslim by Sharia Law cannot own land.
3. Class and Tribe Oriented ??? which lead to Hate, Destruction and Death.
3. Actions ??? As a gesture of thanks, In Iraq, Muslim kills and destroy homes business and belonging of Christians that were not able to flee the country.
It is a shame that ignorance, and cheap charisma will shape our future.

I am an African American woman, and I must say, I agree with the author. Finally, someone has exposed this deception. I have seen every debate, I don't understand what everyone else is hearing because there is nothing I have heard from him shows me that Obama is the one!!! He has no clear plan to solve the ever pressing problems that are plaguing our nation at this time. Also alot of his "so-called" plans are just bi-products of Clinton's.

But the unforeseen dynamic that is present is that they are pushing a presidential candidate that will not and can not top or beat the Republicans. The Republicans have played this one really smooth, and if the Democrats can get out of this "flower child" mindset, then may be we can see it. They don't want Hillary to win, they have successfully pushed her back. Why? They say because they don't like her, but you need to really ask yourself why they don't like Senator Clinton.

The author is right....the media has helped to foster this arena. I have not one down side to Obama, but they are so willing "to beat Senator Clinton in the head" at every twist and turn. People you need to wake up, because the Democrats are going to help put the next Republican into the White House.
