    MEMO TO BILL CLINTON

SUBJECT: MEANING OF THE WORD "IS"

BILL, I UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE HAD SOME TROUBLE IN THE PAST AGREEING TO A COMMON DEFINITION OF THE WORD "IS."

HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF ITS USE FOR YOU TO PONDER AND TO LEARN FROM ...

    HILLARY is GOING TO LOSE.

BARACK OBAMA is GOING TO WIN THE NOMINATION.

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY is GOING TO WIN THE WHITE HOUSE.

THE LONG NIGHTMARE OF CLINTON CORRUPTION AND ITS STAIN ON HONORABLE PEOPLE is ABOUT TO BE OVER.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY is THE HALLMARK OF GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY.

BARACK OBAMA is THE PERSON WHO WILL REMOVE THE STAIN AND RESTORE HONOR TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

I HOPE ALL OF THE ABOVE is HELPFUL AND YOU ENJOY YOUR RETIREMENT FAR FROM THE WHITE HOUSE THAT YOU DISGRACED.

Mick Andersen, I always enjoy your posts! I just hope Mr. Clinton has "learnt" (Cybermom75's word ) to listen. Based on Cybermom's post, it seems Obama hasn't eaten into all of Hillary's uneducated base support yet.

      • Posted By: hillaryforpresident!!! @ 02/22/2008 4:24:11 PM

Ummm, actually those of us who are educated, like Cybermom, and actually know a little about politics because we actually STUDY PATTERNS and THINK about the most LOGICAL choice for President, are all standing behind Hillary!!! It's those of you that just follow media hype and what your friends think is cool that are ruining the Democratic Party!!!

It's like a very educated, Academy Award winning actor said about Mrs. Clinton in the very beginning, "She's the best man for the job."

It's amazing how soon people forget.....Bill Clinton in the white house with nothing to do is a scary thought for all women who will work there. Do you forget the rape and other charges he has had filed against him in the past? Hillary disgusts me what kind of role model is she for young women?????? I dont want our young women to think its ok to cover for your husband as long as it gets you the power you want. What about all the dean people they left in their wake in their run for the monacchy??
          Vote Barak Obama....

I still have trouble with Ms Clinton's head bobbing habit. It's not as pronounced as it used to be and some of her advisors are surely working on it but I find it very distracting and odd. Why would anyone do that bobblehead thing she does?

    • Posted By: BigHornMtnBoy @ 02/22/2008 4:17:19 PM

It a subconcious habit. She is basically saying "that was a great point I just made, you must agree". Bob my head up and down annoyingly.

DISPATCHES FROM THE GROUND WAR ...

    (TAXPAYER ADVISORY)

THE NEW YORK TIMES IS REPORTING ...

    February 22, 2008
Clinton Donors Worried by Campaign???s Spending
By MICHAEL LUO, JO BECKER and PATRICK HEALY

Nearly $100,000 went for party platters and groceries before the Iowa caucuses, even though the partying mood evaporated quickly. Rooms at the Bellagio luxury hotel in Las Vegas consumed more than $25,000; the Four Seasons, another $5,000. And top consultants collected about $5 million in January, a month of crucial expenses and tough fund-raising.

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton???s latest campaign finance report, published Wednesday night, appeared even to her most stalwart supporters and donors to be a road map of her political and management failings. Several of them, echoing political analysts, expressed concerns that Mrs. Clinton???s spending priorities amounted to costly errors in judgment that have hamstrung her competitiveness against Senator Barack Obama of Illinois. ...

IF THIS IS THE WAY THE CLINTONS MISMANAGE THEIR OWN CAMPAIGN, CHRONICALLY WASTING MONEY, IMAGINE HOW HILLARY WOULD GOVERN ...

    • Posted By: hillaryforpresident!!! @ 02/22/2008 4:13:49 PM

Ummmm, I think that the Clinton's have already prooven their ability to balance the budget, if you don't remember, they gave us our first budget surplus in history!!!!

  • Posted By: obamais1 @ 02/22/2008 2:15:30 PM

Texas sweetheart: You need to know that at the time the vote to go to war in Iraq was taking place, there was ONE senator who voted against it. His name was Chaffee...he had the sound judgement to say "hold on a minute...let's think this through," knowing that our American soldiers would suffer if they were sent wrecklessly....well he lost re-election. So, don't pretend to know how Obama would have voted if he was in the senate at the time...you don't know the man. Unlike Clinton, I think he has proven that he doesn't vote based on how the political winds are blowing. My other point is that Clinton shouldn't exploit these soldiers without apologizing for the vote that sent them into war and returned them maimed and hurt! It's hypocritical. And last, the closing speech she made wasn't even her own...it was lifted from Edwards and the other Clinton. So if she's going to accuse Obama of "lifting" then she should refrain from doing it herself. What a hypocrite!

    • Posted By: hillaryforpresident!!! @ 02/22/2008 4:11:59 PM

Here we go again with the: Elect Obama because he didn't vote for the war b*llsh*t!!! Cool, all that shows me is he is a baby and afraid to make tough decisions! Let me remind you that POPULAR OPINION was in favor of the war at that time and Hillary was voting with and for the people, which is what I want from a future leader!!! The problem with the war is that it was POORLY PLANNED and EXECUTED because we had an incompetant President (I think everyone will agree with me on that democrat and republican alike)!

Hillary later voted and his spoken out numerous times since that she does not want to further fund the war in Iraq and she will pull our boys out as quickly and responsibly as possible!

I don't want Obama because he does everything he can to stay PC and likable instead of growing a back-bone and I do not trust him to make tough decisions that are necessary to protect the well being of our nation, one in which both he and his wife have said that they are NOT EVEN PROUD OF!!!!

At Best Hillary Clinton did no better than even in this debate. I golf terms its like being down 3 holes with 4 to play and calling good good on the 15th hole. Not sure what she will be doing on day one but it won't be recovering from her inauguration celebrations.

Be very weary of Newsmax. I have been a long time subscriber to their newsletter. They make the liberal biased media look like child's play. You thought the media was biased to the left? These people are THEE example of the extreme Right Wing.

A very apt Title for the article!! Hillary has been backed up to her firewall of Texas and Ohio and even if she wins them boith, her margin will be far too litte and far too late. Relative to another article here about poor management of her campaign funds ... does that sound like someone that is "ready on day one" to assume control of the greatest economy on the planet or someone you are ready to turn loose with your tax dollars?

To all the people who keep regurgitating the empty charge that Obama lacks experience, you should read this article: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/20/201332/807/36/458633. An average person, woman and mother took the time to compare both their senatorial records. She should be commended for ignoring journalists' and political biases to come to her own, well-informed conclusion. I also have to echo Obama's comments from last night's debate. Myself and the millions of other Obama supporters are not delusional; we are not blindly following the "pied-piper." I (like this blogger) have solid reasons, policy-based reasons for choosing Obama over Clinton. Now if everyone else could do their homework, maybe we can put this all talk and no substance rhetoric to rest.

I agree with ejerod and maxboy if you think that this media is biased, read Maxx.com on yahoo's page. The arrticles are just the opposite. More of a "for" Clinton. However, Hillary maintains that Barack doesn't have enough experience. Well, the man is already proving that he is a leader. Look at his campaign. Members of Hillary's campaign are defecting to the Obama camp. They could learn from each other. Whatever experience Hillary can bring to the table, and Hillary, herself can learn some leadership ability from Barack. He has already proven to be an effective leader. Again, look at his camp. Well organized. If Hillary can't organize her campaign, how is she going to organize the White House? There's something to be said about the charisma this young man is bringing to the table. It's more than just his ability to draw voters, but staff as well. That's the kind of leadership we need, not divisivness. You continue to tick all your staffers off and they began to work against you instead of for you.

Not sure if this was directed towards me but I hope you realize the first part of my comment was a quote by a previous poster (I love copy and paste). But if this is directed towards me then um, where is the substance in your argument? Why is is that online blogs in political arenas always turn into people just trying to insult each other? I think it is amazing how for 29 years I have been able to discuss my views with people who differ from me so much yet we respect each other. I guess because we respect ourselves and our country and our one common quality-we are all American.

Comment: I agree with you pixiepunk. These media is so biased against Hillary it is unimagineable. They never point out Hillay got 12 endorsements from labor unions but the 'yard ape' carsalesman, gets two it's all over CNN. Does media ever ask him tough question? You know why they don't want to be laleled 'as so-called racist'. His wife says horrible things about this country does media ever her any question. Media made a 'mesiah' out of the 'ape' who is going to restore america. Hey, I like the way it is. Of course, I will whine if I was looking for handouts so I can make babies from differnt guys out of wedlock and need after school program all those free stuff, and stay on welfare. He is promising exactly to do that. He is nothing but talk and talk your ear off with no substance. You want this guy who does not show pledge of allegience to this country and his
ugly wife does not love this country until now? You want this guy who is endorsed by Radican Moslems? You want this guy who was constantly harrasing Hillary. Look at the endorsements he got from the losers like Kerry and Kennedy. Bill did so much for his people he can't even imagine doing that in his life time. And Media calls him "racist"? Look what happened to the people that tried to ignore Bill Clinton; they are all in 'losers list'. I hope McCain beat he hell out of him. I will never ever vote for the carsalesman. You people say 'he is against the war. Do you know he was not even in Illinois senate to vote 'yes or no'. This man is a danger to this country. And how is he going to pay for the promises he is making? With his Face?
    "

People like this are exactly why I will vote for Obama if he is our nominee even though I feel Hillary is the best choice by far. If he is the nominee I look forward to sticking it to racists like you all over the country and all over the world. Get ready everyone because we may have had an 8 year delay but the 21st Century is officially here. All you racists and sexists-get ready to run crying to Mommy!

Too bad the news media has chosen Obama as its darling! Too bad the true facts are not being reported! Too bad the real problems of this country are being glossed over! Obama is NOT the solution! He has offered no solutions, only rhetoric! I am a lifelong staunch Democrat and for the first time in my life I will NOT vote Democratic if Obama wins the nomination! This is not about race! It is about substance, which Obama does not have! I would vote for Jesse Jackson if he won the nomination, but not Obama! At least, Jesse Jackson stands for something and makes his stances known. Obama is wishy-washy and does not reveal very much about his true stances on issues. If Obama wins the Democratic nomination and actually wins the presidency, this country will enter into 4 of its most chaotic years in history and will set the stage for a Republican dynasty for years to come. Scoff at my words now but make sure you save them because you will remember them in the future, I guarantee. OBAMA IS THE MOST DIVISIVE CANDIDATE IN THIS CONTEST! Make no mistake about that! Slick Willy? Slick Obama will make Slick Willy pale in comparison!
Folks, I fear the end days are near when our country submits to the authority of a world organization under the guise of peace and prosperity. Yes, Rome has become corrupt from within and is about to fall! I suggest that everyone reading this make preparations accordingly.

    • Posted By: frjiles1 @ 02/22/2008 1:00:16 PM

Your points are very valid but I seriously doubt that he will win in the General Election. The Media's lovefest with Obama will end once he is the nominee. When the media and Republicans get finish with him, he will lose most of his support and make no mistake about that.
I just dislike the fact that it is very likely that we will have another Republican in office especially during this critical time especially one who knows very little about economics. But I agree that I will choose McCain over Obama any day!
I don't think Obama is a bad person actually, I think he is very appealing and charismatic. I just don't believe in him and I see through all of the rhetoric.

Wow Justice. I'll bet you're one of those people who have read the book " The Creature from Jekyll Island" about the Federal Reserve and how our corrupt monetary system got it's start. Unless something really derailing happens, ( like one of the people who claims he is a closet Muslim , or druggie, actually provides evidence as such ) I don't see McCain winning the election. McCain being a war hero doesn't automatically qualify him to run this country.

I'm an Army veteran and a businessman, and I've learned a long time ago that just because someone is an outstaninding soldier or employee, doesn't mean they are going to be a great leader. Some outstanding soldiers try too hard to make their subordinates "mini me's" and end up getting nothing accomplished . Others are "by the book " soldiers and never take into account extenuating circumstances or human failing and as such can't convince other men and women of their ability to lead. Others are so overbearing in their vision they engender resentment in the ranks. On a field of battle sometimes that resentment could turn deadly.

Obama on the other hand exmplifies great leadership skills in every way. There are more people turning out to vote in this election than in the history of the country. Although some pundits say that in the general election, some will change their minds and go with McCain out of fear, I don't think that will be the case.

I get the sense that people are genuinely tired of DC politics, especially after 8 years of a President who didn't listen to anyone other than Carl Rove and Dick Cheyney, the rest of the country be damned!!!. So while I understand your fears, I think they are unfounded

People who don't like Obama always use the word FEAR and HATE, what are they so afraid of. The republicans have really brainwashed a lot of people with the fear, run for cover, cynicism that some people cannot see the possibilities and greatness that this country can achieve. That is the sad part, that people will rather be misearable with the state that Bush has left us than dare for a better life...sad indeed. If you take off you blinders you may just see Obama's vision. The dollar is dropping everyday, China is soon owning this country with all the money the US has borrowed to fight a reckless war, meanwhile Bush and his croonies are pocketing the profits for their families. Wake up America, we can do better, Obama dares us to do better. Hid the call or it will be same ole same ole...if you ask me its not getting better.

i can honestly say you're one of the reasons why our country is going the way it is now. rather than taking the time to educate yourself with facts and be active in the process, you spew off vile unsubstantiated rhetoric. sen. obama's words have more substance than perhaps that of your candidate if you listen carefully, with your earplugs off. other than not voting at all if sen. obama wins the nomination, would you also move to another country? if so, let us know and we will bid you farewell.

IT IS UNFORTUNATE, BUT THE MEDIA IS PICKING THE NEXT PRESIDENT AND THEY BURIED HILLARY WEEKS AGO. NO ONE CAN WIN UNDER SUCH ODDS. THERE WILL BE A BACKLASH AGAINST THE BIASED MEDIA IN THE MONTHS TO COME.

    • Posted By: truth be told @ 02/22/2008 11:47:35 AM

people keep on harping about the media propping up sen. obama, the media burying sen. clinton at the beginning of this campaign, the media this, the media that. how about sen. clinton's responsibilities overlooking her campaign? she can't even manage her very own campaign! since the start, she spends money like there's no tomorrow! i cannot imagine how she will balance our national budget if, heaven forbid, she wins the presidency. where are the financial declarations she has to produce (i.e., hers and bill's tax returns, etc.)? it's a good thing she is COMPELLED to declare her campaign's finances at this point. otherwise, we will never know her incompetence regarding finances, amongs other things. talk about "experience"? like what the youngsters say, puhleeeaze.

don't blame the media for hillary's own failings. blame her and yourselves for failing to see the wolf in a sheep's clothing.

Foxylynx, if the media really wanted to bury Clinton they could have brought up a whole lot more about her past than they have done. In fact most of the things being exposed about the Clintons have more to do with Bill and his dealings than with Hillary.

For the sake of argument, lets say that what you say is true. In the beginning of the race Obama was almost a nobody. Hillary on the other hand has ( according to her ) 35 years of experience. She literally knows all the media heads, the newpaper editors, all the head honchos in both the democratic party as well as the republican party, all their mothers, their kids, dogs and goldfish!!!

She had a campaign machine 20 years deep, a history of helping or trying to help people around the world and a resume that would make anyone stand up and take notice.. In other words she had a 25+ year head start on Obama .

In one year Obama has put together a machine, bigger, better, faster, smarter, more flexible, more agile and more everything else than the Clintons have. So even if what you say is true then by all accounts Obama should have been swatted like a bothersome fly months ago and should have been one of the first to leave the race. That isn't the case. Thats the brilliance of his campaign.

I know Clinton supporters are loyal and thats commendable, but no one can take away what this young senator from Chicago has done in one year. So thats one more reason why the media and the world is so fascinated with him. If this guy can go up against one of the biggest , most powerful names ( The Clintons) in the Democratic party's history and beat them like a rented mule, what can he do for this country once he occupies the White House ?

Yes he will make mistakes once he occupies the White House, but he's smart enough to learn from them and learn quickly. Besides that he's smart enough to surround himself with people who are even smarter than him in certain areas, hence the success of his campiang and the failure of Hillary's.

Comment: Clinton(s), go away. It' someone else's turn...
FYI, isn't it funny how Clinton is repeating her New Hampshire strategy? Criticize the media for not scrutinizing Obama, show her "soft" side (be it tears or an impassioned partly plagiarized speech), and ta-da, victory. For someone who claims to be a leader in women's rights, she is using her "soft" side a lot, lately.
