Comment: Clinton(s), go away. It' someone else's turn...
FYI, isn't it funny how Clinton is repeating her New Hampshire strategy? Criticize the media for not scrutinizing Obama, show her "soft" side (be it tears or an impassioned partly plagiarized speech), and ta-da, victory. For someone who claims to be a leader in women's rights, she is using her "soft" side a lot, lately.

I am honered that the Hillster is the senator from new york. The Hillster has presented good honerable and just positions on, illagal aliens, national defence /the withdraw with honor from Iraq aginst the move on dot org slander of general David Petreaus. Her stance on healthcare embodies the works of Christ to do for those in need as Christ would do for those in need !!
What may be too little to late is the critical review that the first mixed race person ever to have ever accended so far toward the highest office on earth, deserevingly should face .
Inatead we see the raceist stance of"giving the black guy a pass because afterall we know he wont stand up to the same scrutiny& standards applied to whites"!
GOOD JOB MEDIA now having said thatlet us ask is Obamma really good for the middle class?
I HAVE SERIOUS DOUBTS. setting aside what his black power minister says or what his inner circle views about the middle class lets look at his record.
HE IS PRO TAX INCREASES:
for the 55%tax rate on estate taxes
aginst the repeal of this horrendous tax on the middleclass
for the DREAM ACT which gives aged based preferances to
illegal aliens 30 &under, discriminated aginst the old.
aginst making illegals report thier employeres for prosecution
for drivers licences for illegals, bringing "nafta "too the homeland
thereby being pro slap the face of the middle class
& the teamsters that will be runover by
BUSHES ILLEGAL ALIEN WORKERS ARMY
HE IS PRO SURRENDER IN IRAQ for not to safeguard those that have helped America is dishonerable and withdraw without honor is defeat, and makes the lives of our heros to have veen sacraficed in veighn.
We are a nation of laws and honor ,every american should be proud of america every day
UPHOLD THE LAW

Please tell me you were educated in another country and that you are still learning the english language!! I understand typos, but you are really really ingnorant. Ignorant people are people who don't know any better, and sir/ma'am , you are REALLY REALLY ignorant. If you can't even spell properly it shows that your thinking is impaired as well. That being said, its easy to understand why you have so many un substantiated fears about Obama. I guess its kinda like when Tiger Woods entered the PGA. He endured all the jokes about him being biracial, he was too young, he should have finished college etc. He had to endure the racists comment by the golfer who lost at the Masters and said " I guess the victory dinner is going to be fried chicken and collard greens." Tigers response ? he just kicked more a** and made a whole bunch of racists eat their words. So it is here. Racist rants by an obviously uneducated fool who claims to love this country. You ,like the politics of old ,belong in the past. The deep dark past. America is growing up, get over it or go back to wherever your family came from.

Once again, the media is slamming Clinton. There are several references in the comments below to the campaign finance spending article. But if you read the article carefully, you would see that Obama's campaign spent the same and more - it was just accounted for differently. So why isn't anyone questioning his campaign spending? A campaign is run by a campaign manager. Do you honestly think that Hillary or Obama even can clone themselves 5 times over to do everything? Luckily Obamas manager hasn't made any mistakes. The only thing you can blame Hillary for is hiring someone who hasn't done that good of a job or is it that Obamas campaign has not been held up to the same scrutiny?

"Luck" had nothing to do with it, chumly ...

• Posted By: jaymiller @ 02/22/2008 1:44:33 PM

Hillary's campaign has been disgracefully poor. What you can blame her for is poor judgment in hiring out of loyalty instead of competence. $30 million on her Senate re-election campaign? You have to be kidding me, she could have run zero ads in New York and still walked away with a big win. Your point about campaign spending is a good one, but the reason her campaign is being analyzed is because she is struggling to pull in money; Obama is not.

She should not have let her loyalties cloud her judgment - Patty Solis Doyle was not qualified to be her campaign manager. Like it or not, she has responsibility over her hiring decisions; she may not be directly responsible for her campaign's spending, but she is the head of her campaign, where the buck stops, as it would if she was the POTUS.

Yeah eddwincruzz, republicans are really into ethics and morality...Bush and Cheney are real examples, huh? How about all the gay republicans that publicly bash gays but then turn out ot be gay? Some people are just sick.

Yes , Obama is a great orator ! But lots of people still want to know the truth between him and Larry Sinclair.
Can someone in the mainstream media have the courage to report this story? We want to know the TRUTH !

This Larry Sinclair thing is a bit too familiar to me. Hmm let me think. Oh yeah!! Swift Boat Veterans hired by Carl Rove to attack the character of John Kerry in 2004!!! Everyone knew Kerry was a war hero and Bush was a coward who wouldnt even show up for training as a reserve pilot, but no one said anything including Kerry and they allowed the liars to go unpunished

. Now we all know that it was a lie perpetrated by the Carl Rove Cronies. Here we go again. (sigh) . How about this. All of you who want to rant and rave about Obama being a Muslim, a racist, a drug user, an unpatriotic cad who won't pledge allegience to the flag or he is an alien sent as a scout to earth before the invading armada arrives or whatever. Give us proof!!!!!!!!

Go read the 6th amendment s-l-o-w-l-y. It states that a person is innocent until PROVEN. let me type that again for those of you who supported Bush because like him apparently none of you understand the Bill of RIghts or the Constitution, so here I go again) P-R-O-V-E-N guilty. In other words if you have no solid proof, shut the h*** up!!!! On that note I say the same thing to the NY Times for dropping that story about McCain. Even though I don't support him, the same rules apply. PROVE IT OR SHUT UP!!!

Obama is smarter than Kerry in that as soon as someone attacks him, he stands up for himself and sets the record straight. Case and point how he handled the plagarism charge last night.

So in conclusion, like Obama said to Senator Clinton last night. Millions of people, all the major media outlets around the world, and knowing the Republicans and Bill Clinton, I'm sure private investigators as well, have researched this guy and have found nada. They are mad because he was smart enough to put all his skeletons in a book and told on himself years before he ran. So he took out whatever attack plans they had before they even knew he was going to be a threat. HAHAHA. He's brilliant and they can't stand it. So enough with the false charges, inuendos or whatever. Accept it. Americans are tired of the way government has been run and are finally electing someone who will do something to change it for the better.

The media keeps on saying that the primaries could produce either the "first woman president", or the "first black president". I have read so many times that Barack Obama's father is black, and his mother is white, that I feel compelled to believe that it is true. If it is true, then surely Barack Obama could only become the "first bi-racial president"?

Obama will win in November. McCain's integrity is destroyed; in sworn deposition in 2002 he talked to Paxson, in this week's defense statement he denied talking to Paxson.

I don't even like Obama - dirty laundry, no beef and stale bread... but Dems are not into ethics as we deep republicans... ergo, Bill and Monica all forgiven... moral standard never acceptable to republicans, it is McCain's tragedy

• Posted By: mmrich @ 02/22/2008 10:59:49 AM

Funny that she attacks him for not using his own words but yet she does the same thing with her closing remarks. Seems to me that John Edwards used very similar "words" during another debate. And let's be for real - that "xerox" line was sooo scripted. Good thing people saw through that.

• Posted By: frjiles1 @ 02/22/2008 1:02:23 PM

Wow, just curious, which political analyst did you get your comments from? You are saying the exact same thing they were saying last night.
So does that make you a xeroxer?

In the beginning, I liked Obama. But I soon noticed a pattern.
Our country is a failure.

Obama begins explaining our downfalls one by one. The misery we have
forced on others. I'm defeated...and hopeless.

But then, Obama speaks about being able to save us. My spirit lifts.

This pattern is becoming sick. Obama, nor his wife, acknowledges our
greatness. We are the people, over 300 million of us verses over 1000
politicians, and we are being told we are failures....but OBAMA can save
our souls.

Their speeches amount to hating who America is and pay back for being
told to wait in line (Michelle) for college. Over 100 years later and I'm still
being made to feel guilty for having to stand in line for college.
Wasn't it Obama, who recently attacked McCain for saying American could
be in Iraq for 100 years? Quite an attack seeing that his wife thinks we still owe her.

I think the debate last night was one of the best I have seem in a long time. brarack obama is to be applauded for keeping his cool even as the clinton machine tried to take cheap shots at his character and record. I think the overwhelming victory went to obama hands down. Clinton is all resume and no heart. The ''people'' want something to believe in and that is what barack represents, transparency in government, honesty, and true compassion for the people that he represents. I think that the experience that hilary talks about is not first hand, but a bi product of her husbands leadership ability. The world abroad will not be excepting of a woman president because of the cultural and religious beliefs of these middle eastern countries, we will not be taken seriously by the world with her in office. she needs to move aside and let president obama take his rightful place.

• Posted By: b4change @ 02/22/2008 12:32:50 PM

Does anyone else find it odd that the best success Clinton is being hailed for was her final "tested" answer where she spends most of her time telling about her visit to a medical hospital for injured veterans. Hello, that was a campaign stop, photo opp and SHE voted for the war! Obama's "tested" answer about his life and the things he faced to get where he was was more true to the actual question. And, while it was interesting to have Clinton refer to the trials and tribulations she encountered due to her husband's actions (subtle but there) that just reminds me of the baggage that would come with Hillary. His name is Bill.

• Posted By: bostondave @ 02/22/2008 12:25:47 PM

I can't believe Hillary's nerve!!! She goes on and on about how Obama used someone else's lines, and stressed that it was important that one's words be their own..... then she ends the night by USING SOMEONE ELSE'S WORDS!!!!!! .......

HILLARY: "You know, the hits I???ve taken in life are nothing compared to what goes on every single day in the lives of people across our country.".........

BILL CLINTON (92): "The hits that I took in this election are nothing compared to the hits the people of this state and this country have been taking for a long time."........

And there's more!.....

HILLARY: "Whatever happens, we're going to be fine. We have strong support from our families and our friends. I just hope that we'll be able to say the same thing about the American people.".....

EDWARDS (October 30, 2007 debate): "As a matter of fact, it's not about any of us. The truth is, when this election is over, I'm going to be fine. Senator Clinton is going to be fine. Senator Obama's going to be fine. Will America be fine?".....

Wow, very ORIGINAL Hillary. What a hypocrite!

Obama can't win a war on the bogey man under the bed much less a war on terror. One of his idiotic ideas is to go to war in Pakistan.

Pakistan is the ally of the US and the west, does not support terrorism, and has been instrumental in capturing terrorists, including 9/11 masterminds Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Abu Zubaydah and terrorism suspect Ramzi bin al-Shibh.

Obama, who claims he did not support authorizing the use of force in Iraq, a country who's leader harbored terrorists and threatened the west, says he will unilaterally bomb our ally Pakistan if Osama is found in the mountains. Even though it is known that Osama does not have WMD???s.

George Bush was wrong in the way he used the authorization from Congress. But Obama is wronger than wrong, and a hypocrite.

Obama is a danger to the US and the world.

Don't believe me? Read Obamas own words here - Obama laid out a lengthy Pakistan policy last summer in a speech at the Woodrow Wilson Institute where, responding to National Intelligence Estimate reports that Al Qaeda had re-constituted its forces in Pakistan, Obama called for air strikes against Al Qaeda targets if the United States had clear-cut intelligence.

Enter Your Comment I think you are missed the boat. The Clinton can't even budget her own money, what will she do if she was budgeting our tax dollars?? Honesty isn't her strong points.NAFTA a trade agreement which Bill signed and she endorsed has cost the U.S. over 3.7 million jobs.I am a Teamster and I move by my Guts as well as what i see,but hardly by what I hear.Clinton fought against the union but now that she needs my vote She is willing to say and do anything to win.Clinion is a flip-flopper who can't be trusted..

A New York Times article posted today highlighted a lot of her failures to handle her campaign money. Her campaign apparently spend a lot of money on pizza, donuts, and snow shovels at the Iowa caucus, and it did not even snow--hilarious!

• Posted By: truth be told @ 02/22/2008 12:16:22 PM

you're a piece of work! why don't you go in the corner and read your book. you may learn something more truthful. if we only had focused our energy and might in afghanistan and the mountains along the borders of pakistan, al-qaeda should now be history. but rather we spread our military too thin on too many areas. this is what he said.

it was also found out that iraq did not harbor terrorists more than iran and syria. osama does not have wmds? they have another term for it: suicide bombers.

are you one of those who will vote republican if sen. obama is nominated, and will move to another country? let us know and we will bid you farewell.

pull your head from the sand from time to time and enjoy the breeze.

obama totally obliterated clinton onseveral issues, immigration reform, the economy , and sticking up for the fact that he did not ''steal whole passages '' to use in his speech, it was given to him by one of his co-chairs. this I think was a cheap shot and clinton realized that after she was booed by theaudience for making the statement she made. it is time for clinton to move aside and let president obama take his rightful place.

There's nothing wrong with evaluating ourself as a country.. If we don't, then someone else will. He is referring to a lot of things in this country. The Education system, health care system, the politcal process in Washington, immigratiton issues, economy etc. Even Bill Gates gave a speech about how he fears of America's future after touring other countries that are on the path of becoming more productive than the United States. This is how we become a better country. To pretend things don't need to changed will only leave us trying to play catch up to other countries when we know that we can do better. I evaluate myself all the time so that I can continue to grow. Does this mean I don't love myself? To the contrary, I evaluate myself BECAUSE I love myself.

This country is the greatest in the world but it could use some positive changes. Years of discrimination have created these angry people you now get so disgusted with. Equal has not always been equal. All people have not always had a level playing field. The country is great however we need to acknowledge all the people that have made this country great. It's been people of all backgrounds that have built this country and made it strong. Obama is not trying to save you - he is trying to provide positive leadership. Do a Google search and Managers vs. Leaders.
