Memories of New Hampshire came flooding back in the final minutes of the debate—far and away Clinton's finest of the night. "As everybody knows, I've been through some crises in my life," she said, when asked about how she had been tested for the job she seeks. It was an oblique reference to the trials of her marriage—a subject she has only rarely discussed—and it instantly resonated with the crowd. She then acknowledged that her pain did not compare with what working men and women went through all the time—another resonant moment, reminiscent of John Edwards's crowd-pleasing lines (which echoed—plagiarized?—a Bill Clinton trope from 1992).

As the clock ran down, Clinton, once viewed as invincible and the inevitable Democratic nominee, seemed to acknowledge her opponents's strengths—and the possibility that she might not win. "No matter what happens in this contest," she said, "and I am honored, I am honored to be here with Barack Obama. I am absolutely honored. Whatever happens, we're going to be fine."

Within minutes, her campaign e-mailed reporters saying it was the moment she retook the reins of this race. Unfortunately it also sounded like the moment when she was ready to see someone else cross the finish line first.

Comment: Besides Change, which no one supporting him can figure out what that means, aside from shouting about it. Isn't he supposed to have good judgement? Come clean. Obama's friends are not really something that can be brought out in public. Farrakhan, Wright, Rezko, Anuchi. Yes , I would think judgement is out the window. Now how about talking in your own words, gone too. Having you own political positions, well he's borrowed Hillary's. Give me some time, there must be something Obama's done. Oh yes, yes, he can raise money. Well, taking money from zealots wouldn't really be something to be proud of either.

Comment: Lets see, Obama should he be lucky enough to get the nomination, the republicans will eat him up and spit him out. He is a hypocrit allowing dirty politics that he himself said he was against. The Obamacans are voting Hillary out because and Barack said it himself, Hillary would make a fine leader of this country. Getting to there is a battle for Hillary. Odds are stacked against her. The republicans do not want to go up against her, that would seal their fate of obtaing the White House. At least with Obama, they have a chance and throw Nader into the mix, its more than possible.

Isn't it ironic: Xerox is hoping it can profit by teaching companies how to reduce their printing.
