    I think if anyone believes there isn't a little corruption in every politician, they're very nieve. Maybe we should go back to the college days of the candidates and see who was snorting coke or smoking grass. They're all guilty of something. Maybe we just like to see candidates who are worse off than us. That's reason enough to keep Mitt Romney out.

    This old snake with a prostate's problems probably will do any thing for an oral sex!I think this is all what he can offer to a woman at his age and senality.

      I thin monmon68 has nothing to offer anyone else except oral sex.He is probably some idiot with no penis that wil give any guy oral sex for a couple of dollars.

    Why do they keep going after this story. Why not keep Mrs. Obama in the news and the stupid comments she makes. Why do they keep protecting Obama. Booing Mrs. Clintin for every comment she makes about him. Why is he so special? That's how I see it.

    McCain = Continuation of Bush.

    Where is the ongoing poking, prodding and outrage re slick willie's recent escapades with the foreign folks who made millions on his action (and misuse of his former and present position - and stupidity/greed during his curent spouse's campaign) and then he gets MILLIONS for a donation to his legacy building?
    A few NYT and other media wink/winks, smiling photos, denials worse than those of a 2-year old getting caught in the cookie jar and it al goes away. Will this be given the same pass for what is at worst a MUCH lesser story - not deserving of jail time for what WJC did - or will the 4th estate continue to do their bulldog scripted role? No second guess needed.

    I am so sick and tired of the Media running smears against everyone, regardless of the party! I am sick of hte Media telling me who to vote for or what to believe, What ever happened to NON partial press that reported the TRUTH? This is just one more smear in a year of smearing. My personal opinion, NO candidate should be allowed to publish, e-mail or televise any negitive statements about anyone.
    Remember when we were a kid and mother said "If you can't say somehting nice don't say anything at all", We need that in politics today and it should come with SERIOUS penalties for the offenders . Come on Grow Up act like Adults, this race is not about what happened 9 years ago, its about what is happening TODAY and who would do the best job. Washington is full of Crooks and unfortunately they are ll in Government, the pass laws, spend OUR money and TAX us for more, Personally I think they all need to be thrown out and we start over with business people who know how to live on a budget, make lobbiest illegal, Good Grief!
    We as voters have to decide who is the least crooked or who is going to do us less harm, really a sad commentary on what was once a GREAT nation with HIGH morals, and Ideals, where are they now? and yes I am a christian, and a Republican....I am ashamed of what Washington has become but like the majority of American, have no idea what to do about it or how to fix it, we have little to say at this point in our own government.

    Doesn't anyone remember that Ron Paul is also a Republican candidate and that there is no corruption in his history ?

    Somebody had better tell the "patriots" in this forum that many of us Vietnam Vets oppose John McCain, for many reasons.

    If it is a question of credibility, then Newsweek and MSNBC have brought theirs down to the level of the new york times (no, I will not capitalize the name of a tabloid). It is a sad statement of how far the morals and ethics have fallen in the media. The professor that I had at Penn State for a newspaper writing course told us repeatedly, that we had a responsibility to the reader and the subject of the story to confirm the facts of the story. He also made sure that we understood that it was not our place to state or imply an opinion in the story. A news story is a statement of facts that can be attributed to sources, the other stuff is speculation and opinion. The place to express opinion is the editorial/ opinion column-- or maybe in the sports or lifestyle sections.

    another note: I discontinued my subscription to the new york times today.

    Did you ever notice that the people who shout the loudest about child molestation, corruption, gays, inproprieties with lobbyists etc. are doing it to provide themselves with a cover so they can be freer to misbehave?

      HE IS ANGELIC AS COMPARED TO THE CLINTONS AND THE BLACK MAN HAS A FEW ISSUES AND HE IS NEW IN SLIME TOWN

  • Posted By: SmartPlanning1 @ 02/22/2008 1:08:49 PM

    Wasn't there a'story' a few weeks ago regarding the William Jefferson Clinton's criminal misuse of his present role and former office - not to mention continued stupidity and greed during his current spouse's campaign - re tens of millions of dollars in illgotten gains for him and his accomplices overseas - and subsequent LARGE donation to the Clinton legacy facility. So what happened? A few smiling pictures and wink, wink denials in the NYT and elsewhere and it all went away? Will this much lesser story (if there IS one) be given teh same pass or will the lib bulldogs stay on script? (Remove the question mark - we know the answer.)

    It is a beautiful thing1 Your star has just dimmed about 40 watts and soon to lose more wattage when the other truths come out in the next couple of weeks. The only hope you had to hold on to power (slim hope at best.well actually not even a slim hope). Everybody is getting on the wagon and saying we have had enough it is time for us to take our future into our own hands. Time to get on the wagon and take a ride or be left at the wayside. The wagons leaving in November and we'll wait for you to arrive, everybody has a place, we don't discriminate.

    Your story is almost as biased as the Times piece. The letters McCain sent to the FCC demanded they decide, not how to decide. While the "Grey Lady" has been exposed as a whore for the democrat party, you appear to be her pimp.
