The usual B.S... the dems will not for for McCain and the Rebs will... this will change nothing, and for
the indepentant voters as myself.. it also changes nothing... so far I'll vote for McCain instead of the
other 2 poor choices as far as I'm concerned.. I did vote for Bill Clinton and then I did vote for Bush...
Hope to get it right again.....

How did a Secretary become a partner?
How did Hillary become a millionaire when at the time of Whitewater and her stock market reward, she only had 100.00 to invest, lol!
Who cares - nothing is going to change anyway.
Since when did the "NYET" (New York Esquire Times) care about facts anyway?

Testimony given to substantiate the need for a change in campaign finanace regulations (by illustrating the compromises and appearances of corruption that otherwise result) is somehow being turned against the person who tried to change the system for the better. Michael Isikoff is such a sleaze that it is amazing he doesn't work for the NY Times. Maybe there's a job offer coming?

    The plot thickens! Stay tuned...

This Newsweek reporter is as bad as the New York Times reporter......are they the same guy?

Why is it no liberal "nes source' can publish the actual transcript of McCain' letter to the FCC? Great job, libs!

So, the question is one of credibility. Was there a meeting between Weaver and the lobbyist with the short resume and the degree in elementary ed, or not? Did McCain know the lobbyist or not? Were they friends or not? How did she manage to become a partner in the short span of six years after taking a secretarial positiion with the lobbying firm? Does her travel log contain dates and times and meetings, or not? Were they in the same city at the same times, or not? Did they stay in the same hotel, or not? Does her expense account indicate that certain time and expenses were incurred, or not? Did McCain 'mis-remember', or not?

The problem with The Republicans is that they dont actually have anyone who can live up to the very rules they set.

How about informing us as to what McCain actually did, other than speak with someone? Sure, he urged that a decision be made, but he did not direct as to how that decision was to be made and to whose favor.
More garbage from the "NYET" (New York Esquire Times).

What news story was Michael Isikoff contacted about in 1999? How did he describe that contact in 2002? What did he say about it yesterday? Did he use exactly the same language seven years apart? Will he be lambasted for corruption by Newsweek if there "seems to be a contradiction?" What are his and your standards for accuracy?

If that's all they could dig up on McClain, then he's got my vote!

Nothing new here... comments by Dems making something out of nothing... dems will still vote dem, and
rebs will still vote rep.. it's us indepentant voters who will again elect the pres... I voted for Bill C. and
also voted for George W. ... not bragging, but hopefully we get it right again this year... I'm so far going
with McCain... no matter how much mud you dems sling... the other 2 dem choices just don't do it for me....

Why does Newsweek end the headline with a question mark? After reading the article, it seem obvious to me there is a hole in his story. Why not make it an actual assertion by ending the headline with an exclaimation point or at least a period.

Enough all ready! I am so sick of hearing about this sort of thing that I may skip voting entirely this year!

I smiled when Cindy McCain stated that Johnny boy would never betray his family (paraphrasing). Does she need a history lesson or is she oblivous to her own past?

It really shocks me that we are worried about this. Didn't we once have a Prsident who received oral sex under his desk and his wife did nothing about it? I forget his name!!!
