Get Off The Stage Hillary.... It's Over! Geez...

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 2:03:26 AM

What are you afraid of? Maybe that Hillary will win this election.

  • Posted By: TJIRISH43 @ 02/22/2008 5:15:01 PM

Tx77414 I am a Democrat and I am not voting for her. If Hillary had spent more time making a case for why she should be President and less time attacking Obama (I am voting for Obama but assure you I am not a delusional supporter). Maybe Hillary would be in better shape. BTW your rationale that she is a deadheat with Obama and not desperate is false. If Hillary barely wins both States. Obama still picks up a large % of delegates. The fact that Hillary's campaign has not denied that it would try and force votes from super delegates. Plus seat the Florida & Michigan delegates says more about her and her campaign than any other comments need to be said.

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 2:02:37 AM

As far as attacks go, Obama dishes them out also. You just notice them more because he's your guy. Hillary is the best candidate and everyone including the Republicans know it. That is why they are crossing over to Obama and trying to mess up the democratic process. You are delusional if you think that he is going to be a better president than Hillary because she has stated what she will do and MADE A CASE and he has said NOTHING. He has no clue what he will do and that is scary. If that is how you pick a president, delusions is what you have.

TJIrish- Senator Clinton was interrupted by "Murphy Brown" 3 times during the debate - Obama ZERO! Senator Clinton was not allowed to respond to Obamas attacks on Iraq twice in the debate and Obama was off point on question 3 times in this last debate. While you certainly dont sound delusional AND SENATOR CLINTON never claimed Obamas supporters were, I have to disagree with you. Senator Clinton is Already in better shape because she did not fall for the 2 TRAP Questions Brown posed for her about delegates or the follow up or the follow up on plagiarism. Most of all she is ALREADY better off because she has done the right thing. SHe has allowed herself to step away from the politics and the spin to be human, to hurt for a fallen hero, and to reflect on her amazing struggles. I am an independent voter and I will vote for Senator Clinton because she is both philosophical and Pragmatic, but also human.

I dont see how someone can clearly say that Hilary is in a better position than Obama. Obama raises 1 MILLION dollars a day to fund his campaign (and pay his staff), Obama repeatedly packs auditoriums and stadiums with 15,000-20,000 people EVERY rally. Obama has got endorsments from Sen. Ted Kennedy to Republican Officials and everything in between. Even the opposing party are backing this guy: 1) They don't like the fact that John McCain is their ticket (maybe because McCain wants to stay in Iraq for 100 YEARS or because McCain wants to make President Bush's tax cuts permanent, that allow millionaires to pay the same amount of tax we do, or maybe because Newsweek dug up so evidence that backs up the NY Times story about McCain's ties to lobbyists and contridicts his denial of the issue) To put is plainly this country is sick of games and Obama is the best person to put that to an end. If you took Hilary's "emotional moment" seriously than you should look at the weeks since New Hampshire. She was in the lead, she had resources at her disposal and now she doesn't have either, her attacks on Obama have all back fired and the debate did not go the way she needed so she started to tear up. Give me a break...please look at the facts she only shows emotions when she is behind. This is politics and she knows that, that is why she cried, not because she was feeling blessed or overwelmed. We need someone who the world is going to look at and respect, America is not the same anymore. We are connected to the countries around us more than ever and we need Obama to go in himself and fix those relationships (unlike Hilary's idea of sending people on here behalf).

Please!!! She is playing you. She says whatever will win points with the crowd. Fake Fake Fake!!

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 1:54:20 AM

Well, at least she tells you what she is going to do. Hard to criticize someone who says nothing. about what he will do.

    • Posted By: solvera @ 02/23/2008 11:09:01 AM

OK I know this comment could have been to anyone who said something similar, but yours is the one I saw. Please stop stating like you know for a fact what she does and doesn't feel. You are not inside her brain and no matter how sure you think you are, you do not know her motivations.

At least say something like "she comes off as fake" or "I personally don't trust her". That is your right. But too many people are way too comfortable barfing out a sentence that they can't prove.

  • Posted By: Debann @ 02/23/2008 8:01:37 AM

Hillary always has an angle. She has so many faces. Does she know who she really is. In her interview on the TODAY show she was asked if she was going to continue to run for election if her results for the upcoming primaries results were negative for her. She answered by stating she doesn't make predictions.
Well, she predicted that everything would be over by Super Tuesday. She is very contradictory. How can anything believe in her. She is not a very truthful person. She is too calculating. She has no integrity.

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 1:53:08 AM

You think Hillary has no integrity because she thought it would be over by Super Tuesday. Well, Obama said he thought that he would be president. What a whopper!!!!!!

  • Posted By: solvera @ 02/23/2008 11:15:22 AM

Guys do me a favor...please stop bashing HIllary by saying that you know she's fake, or she's a shrew, or you "just know" that she's playing the audience.

This may be a minor point but I'm sick to death of people watching a news clip, or rading an article, and immediately spouting off "she's fake, she didn't mean it, its a ploy, she's a b*tch". You are not inside her head. You do not know either way, and neither do I.

At least say something like "she seems fake, I personally am not buying it". But saying it as if you know for sure makes you seem arrogant and guilty of some of the qualities you accuse her of.

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 1:16:41 AM

They do that because she's a woman and they feel threatened by women. They can't help it. There are many men out there who won't have the courage to vote for any woman, especially a strong one like Hillary because they feel threatened by her femininity. That's is why they come on so strong. Hey, boys, don't worry, she is going to help you not hurt you. You made it through the Bush regime, surely you can handle a woman in the White House.

  • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 02/23/2008 10:39:23 AM

If any of you Hillary supporters want to ensure our candidate gets a fair shot, email your delegates as to why you feel Hillary would make a great leader and commander in chief. I already did.

    • Posted By: douglassoileau @ 02/23/2008 1:17:59 PM

that's a good idea, that must have been the shortest e-mail ever sent..................Obamacan's to the rescue

      • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 02/23/2008 11:14:47 PM

You wish. I remember Hillary and her commitment to her positions. Yours can just say, when faced with the hard issues , he crumbles. Can't handle the pressure. I just watched his video stint about obesity, he used doubletalk. He's good at that. Can't solve problems if you have no solutions or even plans to the solutions.

        • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 1:04:23 AM

That's exactly what I noticed. See, even on the easy issues, he doesn't have an idea of what to do. That's scary. This man is really all about charisma. Good lord, save us!!!!

  • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 02/23/2008 11:32:44 AM

I think the numbers are decieving. People are voting to get Hillary out. I don't know how many of them are sincere democrats. Obama may be heading to a political demise just like Kerry.

    • Posted By: crdw @ 02/23/2008 2:59:57 PM

Ordinary people had turned a deaf ear to politics for quite some time. Finally, there's a real connect to those who have been left out, or by choice, have chosen not to be a part of the political process. I think this campaign on all fronts has opened the eyes, hearts, and minds, to what has really been going on in Washington. People really want change. It's not about being delusional. It's about standing for what you believe in. Regardless of what side you are on - you must choose. Change or Stay the Same

      • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 1:01:58 AM

You're right about that. My father was a Republican but he changed when he met a friend in the store who told him she had just moved in with their children because her husband's illness had taken all of their money including their home and auto. They are broke and have lost everything. Hillary has the only program which would have prevented that from happening. My Dad, a staunch Republican, is now voting
        for Hillary.

      • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 12:24:41 AM

But change to what? Obama does not say. There are no lines to read between because there is no substance to the man. He is running on Hillary's coattails and using charisma to get votes. Is that what we want as a president? Someone who says nothing, does nothing-just talks around the subject. For pete's sake, wake up America. We need help to fix this country and we know what we have with Hillary. If having a woman as president isn't change, I don't know what is. We have had men in the White House for forever, give the woman a chance and you will see change that will change your life and give us the respect and security we need. She is a strong leader and a decent person. I want that kind of change.

      • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 02/23/2008 8:28:08 PM

If you read my comment after this one you would have read that I too cannot ignore the numbers. Its too much. if Hillary does not get the nomination I am resolved to the fact our country will have to wait another 4 years for change to happen. Remember, the problems did not happened overnight. It took the last 8 years to bring us to this point. It will take at least 4 years or even beyond to resolve. Then everyone will be upset and put blame unfairly on one person as they do now.

  • Posted By: Jrmapu @ 02/23/2008 8:29:13 PM

Should Obama become the nomination, he will be elected. The numbers dictate that. Obama has generated voters 2 to 1. He will get those votes plus some of Hillary and Edwards supporters. McCain will not be able to stop the vote. There is not that many republican voters. Unless the Republicans can show that they have more of the voting data base, Obama is it. I am a Hillary supporter and will cross the lines because Obama is not ready. But bit even my vote will stop Obama. I will have to wait 4 more years for everything to turn around. Or at least attempt to turn around. Too much authority on one side tend to be unassuring of equality. The democrats may not be able to see clearly and will lose sight. Everyone will want things to be done thier way.

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 12:35:00 AM

No need to worry then. Hillary will be president.

  • Posted By: Obama_08 @ 02/23/2008 7:49:47 PM

The Clinton campaign is releasing the conclusion of the debate as a T.V comercial. The part that made the video genuine is the fact that she turns and acknowledges Obama (forget that she stole her closing lines from Bill in 95 or Edwards in 07). They are trying to make so much money off of this clip that it is apparent that it wasn't spontaneous but planned, to help put her agenda. I am not anti-Hilary. I'm just anti games and that is what the Clinton camp does they spin stories and corrupt messages.
When you go to her rallies, you hear her go on about all the bad things that supposedly come out of the Obama camp but face to face she doesn't dare mention those things because she knows they don't stick.
Maybe...Just because she is Hilary, BILL CLINTON's (who we all loved as president) wife we give her a benifit of the doubt. Just because her husband was a great president doesn't mean she will be too.
We need another Bill Clinton and when you sincerely study their records and history, Bill and Obama relate a lot more than we all think and know. They were both accomplished, the same age, great education and campaign to bring hope and change to the "old" Washington.

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 12:33:58 AM

Not Anti-Clinton. Now who is spinning stories?

  • Posted By: GIDEYUP @ 02/23/2008 7:46:44 PM

Clinton has lost control .. she's now screaming and yelling as though a mad woman, making ridiculous comments about Barack ... VERY unprofessional .. a President that's a screamer, ouch! Clinton has blown over $1m on pizza, donuts and hotel rooms in Vegas .. yet, she claims she doesn't know where all the $$$ has gone. Imagine her trying to help the current crises with our economy!!!! She's not a stupid lady, but has done and said, STUPID, STUPID, STUPID. Hopefully, she's had her rabie shots. Imagine Billy being in the Whitehouse with nothing to do ............ SCARY!
McCain is a sickly looking Pigm and talks as though he has a mouth full of crap ... and perhaps that's what he's full of!

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 12:32:49 AM

Pizza, donuts? That's what we get when we are cutting corners. Where are you from?

  • Posted By: tired and old @ 02/23/2008 1:36:37 PM

clinton will do anything to win----lie, cheat, steal---- perhaps even worse. bill may be slick willie but his wife is witch hillary. she protected his adulterous butt before and tried to tell americans it was a right wing conspiracy. Thank god for the blue dresss.

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 12:29:44 AM

An old woman hater I'd say. I feel sorry for your wife.

  • Posted By: Lycopian @ 02/23/2008 9:29:30 AM

Clinton's finances have mirrored those of Henry Cisneros (Bill's Sec of HUD).Cisneros has made large profits from companies involved with subprime mortgages including Countrywide. As foreclosures and bankruptcies mount is it any wonder she wants to keep her income hidden-so much for openness.

As for caring and leadership- Clinton would make a great caring Commander-in-Chief... Her forces withstood subzero temperatures in Wisconsin-standing in lines, sometimes for hours-enduring physical stresses and pain.
She never offered a word of public thanks- she ignored her troops in Wisconsin just as she had abandoned her forces in Maryland and Virginia. So much for caring,so much for Commander-in-Chief,so much for leadership.

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 12:17:07 AM

How would you know, you're a Republican. Why are you so afraid of Hillary? She will make a great president and help even you-though I doubt you will ever admit it. Nevertheless, she will be the next president and we are all the better for it.

You can probably chart the decline in newspaper and magazine circulation to the rise of infantile psychobabble reporters like this one being allowed A. a job, and B. ink. Accepting anything that Hillary Clinton does as anything other than calculated requires a suspension of disbelief usually associated with movie reviewers. 'Visibly shaken', not stirred, the Clinton cocktail of how to manipulate the press and press coverage strikes again. Even the reporter's descriptions of the reactions to Cliinton's remarks betray that they were not sincere but meant to create a false impression of actual emotion.

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/24/2008 12:04:06 AM

Silly fool, no one has the right to tell anyone what their emotions are. That is the personal property of each person and YOU have no right to state what they are. It must be the "Ledwith" cocktail to tell everyone how they feel just because you think you're some kind of expert on emotions or should I say everything. You seem to have an opinion on everything Clinton. Do you have any opinions that have anything backing them up. You don't seem to deal with the issues, just your opinion. Well, unless you're a seer, who cares what you think. That's a statement, not a question.

  • Posted By: tx77414 @ 02/22/2008 5:00:31 PM

Or maybe, ledwith, we just have a bad headline. Senator Clinton is in a statistical deadheat with Mr Obama in Texas and ahead in Ohio and Penn. She is certainly not desperate. Your flagrant argument that Senator Clinton was not moved by the death of a police officer who essentially gave his life for her is not only OBAMANABLE (misspelling intended) but a clear reflection of your political affiliation (ANTI Clinton). I personally was pleased that the story was not flagrantly anti Clinton but VERY dissapointed that the headline was intended to show disfavor where none is warranted.

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/23/2008 11:57:39 PM

I also noted the headline that was not deserved. I have also noted that most of the political channels are biased toward Obama and do not cover Hillary at all after the debate as they did Obama. CNN has 4 people who were OBAMANABLE and none speaking for Hillary. This alone should show the nation that there is some "shennigans" going on and we should take note. It would not surprise me to find out that the Republicans have something to do with this because McCain does not want to go up against the Clinton campaign. Remember, we were in the black when Bush took over from Bill Clinton. McCain does not want to face that kind of talk. But I believe he would like to go up against Obama who won't tell anyone what he will do as president. Chrisma won't win this election and the Repuclicans know it.

  • Posted By: independentgirl @ 02/22/2008 5:24:52 PM

The problem with Hillary's campaign is that they tried EVERY angle, everything to win. I understand that. I'm not so much pro obama (though after last night's debate, I'm swaying to him) as much as anti Hillary. She isn't real. I actually believe she is sincere in her desire to try to help people. The problem is that she can't stay sincere on that point. 2 biggest probs with her experience stump: 1. she stayed married to bill - there is something wrong with that decision - i mean, no normal person would have acted the way she did. she needed him to get to where she is today and 2. as a woman, i don't buy into voting her because of the feminism argument - to me, she's least representative of a strong independent woman because she chose to ride bill's cottails. she has no accomplishments of her own beyond being tied to bill's successes. i respect that she's tough and smart but not in the ways i think earn her to be the president. experience does not necessairly translate to years of doing something and fighting does not translate to attacking. Fighting can mean standing your ground and revealing your depths and strengths that make you stand out - something she doesn't seem to ever do - which troubles me. I think there's something wrong with her.

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/23/2008 11:49:03 PM

Well, independentgirl, let me tell you something. You obviously are very young or you would understand that a person who stays with their spouse when they have problems is actually very strong and knows how to handle life's disappointments. In this age when divorce is so common, we are lucky to have an individual running for president who has been tested and can stand her ground even when the homefront goes awry. Age will hopefully mellow you out or you will break. Leaving is not always the best way to solve a problem. Actually, it rarely solves problems, just makes new ones. Hillary is a good person and a strong woman. She will lead our country well and go down in history as a great president.

  • Posted By: jessi818 @ 02/22/2008 6:43:52 PM

You must be kidding me. It's almost sickening to watch Mrs. Clinton and her false humanity. She's more concerned with lining her and Bill's pockets and continuing to give to big companies and steal from the working class. She is part of the reason our country is in shambles now. I'm voting for change this time around. Hilary is about as close to George Bush politics as you can get.

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/23/2008 11:38:43 PM

How would you know? Obama has not said anything about what he will actually do if elected. We had a good economy under Bill Clinton. I think Hillary will do even better. At least she is not afraid to say what she will do if she is president. By the way, in your old age, if you have spent your last nickel, lost your home as well as your transportation due to your health insurance running out, will you then wish you has listened to Hillary. She has been trying to tell you that for weeks now. Why do you think it's the older people who are going for her? They are the ones who know what can happen. I have talked to dozens of middle class people who have been wiped out because they thought that their health insurance would take care of them but it ran out-it does run out after a time. One catastrophic illness can and does ruin the live of countless people because they don't understand that. It can happen to young people too. For pete's sake listen.

Obama does not tell anyone what he will do because he does not know himself. He is running on charisma and that doesn't help anyone. The nation is being deluded into believing this man is something that he is not. I just hope enough people wake up from the "Obama trance" long enough to examine his empty rhetoric.

Sob, Sob, we will miss you too Hillary, we know you are th only Candidate to "Fill our Pain". As a supporter I am one of the few who understand that your 30 plus years in politics has noting to do with the "do nothing", senate and the "worst ratings" ever of our elected official. Also I understand that the many years of experience that you and senator mccain have is an ass-et to our well being and that you both, have only Our concerns at heart.. I am agered that the American people can read through your fake emotions and tantrums and will not vote and support you. But like Bill likes to say, "keep Hope alive", there will always be another election that you can get into, even if you do have to move to another "State", to participate..........with my most sincere regrets, good-bye and good ridance

    • Posted By: ports @ 02/23/2008 11:28:01 PM

Of what are you so afraid? We had a wonderful era with Bill Clinton with an upswing in the economy and he left us in the black. Your comments are so jaded that you sound like someone who is always afraid. Well, you should be afraid if Obama or McCain are our next president.

People are gullable and easily influenced and it is a damn shame not enough realize the disaster it would be if any one of the Democrats running were to lead this nation. Neither are qualified, both are not experianced enough, and they manipulate and lie constantly. McCain is 71 years old, has much more life experiances let alone does not use his 'emotional' side to sway votes or copy others in speeches. DEMOCRATS get used to losing, wil you!

    • Posted By: GIDEYUP @ 02/23/2008 7:38:24 PM

Unfortunately, we are all accustomed to loosing with the Republicans on watch. The hole that these thugs dug for our Country is criminal, besides getting all those kids killed. Obviously, you're one of them .. shame on you! Hit the road, Jack ... you got it all wrong.

Jack, i have to admitt Mccain has plenty of life experience, maybe a little too much, it's time he hit the pasture. All that experience he has, really changed Washingon, so much to the point that he is forgetting about his campaign reform.. seems he doesn't remember what that was suppose to be about... Yea he has experience, much of i would like to forget.....
