    I correct "400 million" to "4 million"

In South Korea 4 million $ in asset is only ranked at middle class.

In South Korea, 1 million dollars of asset is generally considered as basis for the rich. I think asset avg. at middle class is less than 0.5 million dollars.

Are you kidding? 4 million dollars of asset is neary within top 1% in South Korea. What makes you say like that?

I think Rho's effort s to enhance social welfare in South Korea should also be honored. Business-friendly policies won't see welfare improvement for the time being until next election when people realize it's time to keep the balance.

Yeah, It's just beginning of Lee's action although South Koreans don't want him to step forward too much. I'm really worried that his ambitious step would lead the nation to in a wrong direction. The country has developed quite decent degrees compared to most of develped countries. The serious social problems in the country are soaring price of real estate and increasing income gap between the rich and the poor. The average asset of new ministers chosen for new goverment by Lee is 400 million dollars and they own too many real estates, a few of them have more than 20 houses. I can say that's the chracteristics of new goverment led by Lee. As a result, recent approval rating dropped to the mid 50 percent, the worst value compared to his predecessors. (Avg value is around 80). The number in South Korean people who are supporting is likely to decrease as long as he does like this way.

It seems to me that some of Lee's reform plans are too simply ambitious. Amid the aggravating external environment, he should not set the goal too high. It's more important now that he should find "workable" solutions to challenges facing South Korea, including inflation and skyrocketing oil prices.

I have to take back what I wrote about Roh's Korean. His Korean is not coarse. Sometimes (maybe too often), he's too straightforward for a politician, but he's an eloquent orator. You may think of him as an unusual cross of Omaba and Bush. On the other hand, LEE is just like Bush (recall that what's common between Bush and Hussein is that neither can speak English. Lee cannot speak 'proper' Korean, either.

I cannot believe you wrote that LEE can speak fluent English while belittling Roh for his 'coarse' Korean. First of all, LEE cannot speak English (he may some phrases and words, but that's not speaking English). Secondly, Roh's Korean is not coarse. He sis sometimes too straightforward (for a politician), but he's an eloquent orator. It's LEE whose Korean is coarse and even vulgar. H

I can't believe that Newsweek wrote that LEE speaks a fluent English while belittling President Roh's Korean for his coarse Korean. First of all, LEE' cannot speak English (he may know some phrases and words, but Roh can do better than that). Secondly, Lee's Korean is as coarse as (if not even coarser than) Roh's Korean.
