Hillary Clinton will never make the White House. I believe she already knows she will not win and is using the rest of her campaign to pay off her loyal flollowing with huge consultant fees. All this at the expense of the many citizens that think they are contributing to her campaign when they are really paying up for the next election Hillary will run in.

You call yourself a national columnist! You have no credibility whatsoever. Hillary has a good chance of winning the nomination and then the general election because she is exposing Obama for the fake and disillusioned person he really is. No ideas, just blind hope! I have launched Operation Obama "Crack"-down, a national effort to discredit Obama based on the issues and his glaring lack of experience in any realm in public policy. You should be ashamed of yourself for suggesting such, and when Hillary wins in November, she will have the last laugh!!

Hillary has already accepted defeat. She is now playing the political loyalty game of rewarding her loyal friends with high pay for essentially helping her ride it out to the end. She has given too many signals she know the end is near. However, she gives no excuses for the terrible job her staff has done, except to reward them with more payola.....

Not a knock on Obama , but Hillary knows how to get things done, a no nonsense realistic approach. The enonomics problems this country is in are enormous, IMO Hillary is the closest thing we hve to a sure thing, why take a chance, if we are wrong on the next President, and people move closer to poverty than away from it , all the feel good stories will disapear real quick.

I wouldn't believe anything you see in the mainstream press right now. This Newsweek column is a ruse and shame, written by a fellow Harvard grad (Obama and Alter both graduated from Harvard). Yeah, those secret society ties run deep.

For all you idiots drinking the wacky Obama Kool Aid, get real. This is about fixing our country not "rock star idolization". I've watched all the debates and thoroughly read up on both candidiates. I see through the hype and support Hillary Clinton. To see how the media has chosen to endorse Sensationalism over Substance, is extremely pathetic. Hillary is better qualified and has always been committed to solving the problems of America. She is not some Johnny-come-lately. I'm also disgusted by the "Obama bullies" banging their drums for a candidate whose accomplishments they can't even list. I recently asked a few Obama supporters to list just one of Obama's accomplishments for me. Not a single one of those five people could come up with anything!!!! Just ridiculous!!! Just because you're legally old enough to vote doesn't mean you have good judgment.

Wake up America and turn down the noise, get real, and look at the person who actually has a proven track record of solutions. As with any job that needs to be filled, you hire the candidate with the best qualifications, commitment, and proven track record, that's Hillary Clinton, end of debate!!!

Reporters in a lot of mainstream media outlets usually belong to Obama's core constituencies. (college educated, upper income caucasians) Also, just like anyone else, they are entitled to their opinion, especially since this is an opinion column; it's not supposed to be factual reporting.

People such as Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter are equally protected under the right to free speech. Unfortunately for them though, they simply can't command the audience a respected mainstream publication such as newsweek has. People would be hurling the same accusations at them if they constituted the mainstream media.

My point? If you don't like the opinions, you're perfectly free to read a different publication.

There's an even better reason for Hillary to get out of the race: she is less--perhaps much less--electable in a race against John McCain.

Example: the LA Times story ( www.latimes.com/.../la-na-gopobama25feb25,0,4658669.story ) this week on Republicans for Obama. In it, one of Obama's GOP campaign workers said that, as strongly as he feels that a change of political direction is needed, he'd nevertheless vote for McCain over Clinton if she were to become the nominee.

What struck me about the remark was the frequency with which I've heard it myself: nearly all the Republicans and independents I know are disgusted with Bush and set to vote for a Democrat--but not if that Democrat is Hillary. (A vehement "I CAN'T STAND HER" usually follows this declaration.)

Now, this probably only proves how effectively conservatives have demonized the woman over the past decade and a half. Still, when people are punching their ballot cards in November, the whys will not be important.

This country CANNOT survive another 4-8 years of conservatives' self-serving ideological nonsense. A Democratic victory in November is essential, and having Hillary as our candidate may well put that outcome critically at risk. Vote Obama.

Get serious. Who in Hillary's circle is going to tell Hillary it's time to throw in the towel. Their scared to death of her. Would you tell someone who thinks she should be President just because she's more liberal then Obama to drop out. It's a bitter pill to swallow when you find out your not the rock star you use to be. There's a new rock star out there who sings totally different then Hillary does and his fans are listening to the words.

This feels like Bush all over again. You and the MSM didn't do your job then, and your not doing it now. How about some substantive questions for Obama, a little more indepth reporting and less bias. I can not get over the lack of objectivity in journalism these days...what the hell are you all smoking?
