Sometimes in our lives, we come across powerful people who might appear to be a bit unscrupulous in business, but we do business with them anyway. Business is business and we leave the decision of who is doing illegal deeds to the law. It is not for business people to decide. So we all can make flawed decisions. The Clintons had their own muddy mess in the Whitewater scandal and luckily escaped unscathed, leaving close friends to take the hit alone.

The fact is that it is fabulous that so many Americans of so many different ethnicities can be inspired and feel motivated by Barack Obama, regardless of the colour of his skin. This shows a change in America that is overwhelmingly positive. With unity there is strength. I feel hope in our young people that they are not allowing themselves to be prejudicial in their choices. Even if Obama does not win, it shows that America is truly on the way to being the United States, and United people.

Jenniferaz -- Oh, it's worse that a week before -- look at the date on the article at the top of the page. It's actually the Mar. 3rd issue of Newsweek -- it's coming out in hard copy the DAY BEFORE the March 4th primaries in those states.

sherall -- Thank you for that much more informative expansion of the Rezko connection.

Folks, there is some serious bad money that is funding the Obama campaign. Not only is it funding the campaign but it is apparently lining the pockets of enough media folks that the OBAMA MARKETING MACHINE is also able to control the flow of information from the Press level.

It's unbelieveable how close this guy is getting to being elected to the highest office of our country. We need to take this election back. NOW. The MEDIA WILL NOT DECIDE WHO WE GET TO VOTE FOR!!!!

Hillary has more experience and connections. Obama has charisma and the power to inspire.

What Hillary has, Obama can get. What Obama has, Hillary cannot get. Case closed.

Articles such as the one above have done wonders for Mr. Obama's campaing....You should be congratulated!
As the article clearly illustrates, Mr. obama has been "forgiven" time after time for any/all misstatements by the news media while Ms Clinton's errors have been emphasized and amplified.
    WHY?
Is Mr. Obama really the all knowing/perfect/ideal candidate which will be our "savior" and therefore cannot be questioned and is beyond reproach?
If not, why is the media portraing him as such.......it would appear that this man has been placed on a pedastal and our country may have to suffer the consequences......
We have had to endure SEVEN long years of Mr. Bush's tutelage, now we need someone who can get things done and more than ever, we NEED AND DEMAND that news coverage be impartial equal for all candidates.

I think it is premature to ask Sen.Clinton to step aside but I also agree that it is one way she could prepare for a second try at the presidency if she loses now. she has run such a dreadful campaign, such a negative, dirty tricks one that I beleive she has been hampered by very bad, if very expensive, strategy advisors. Besides, it would make her look very classy. and right now, her class quotient is really down there. Texans for Obama

Jonathan Alter, you ought to be ashamed to call yourself a "journalist". You are worse than the papparazzi.

Good folks of Texas and Ohio, please don't listen to such media and don't act like a flock of sheep like the Obama maniacs want us to! I am a Obama fan too, for your information. But I am not dancing to his tunes or acting all wonderstruck by his eloquence, oratory and charms. It is so clear now that for his good qualities Obama does not have the qualifications to lead this greatest nation on earth!!

Lets us do the TEXAS TWO-STEP: Hillary steps forward and Obama steps backward!!!

Saw you on MSNBC this weekend Jonny. Please please shave that mangy dome. You look like a chernobyl victim.

Enter Your CommentSorry, Jonathan, I hate to see anyone be so personally humiliated. But, you should have known better than to write this insane article. Maybe this is what we needed for Hillary's "silent majority" to come forward. We absolutely will NOT let you, MSNBC, CNN, or anybody else deprive us of promoting our candidate to the fullest. Who do you think you are at this early stage of the game suggesting such proposterous idiocy? Perhaps you thought Hillary supporters were gullible enough to go to Obama's side to save party unity. Well, so much for that fairytale. I hope you have gotten a belly full of NOT SO FAST, Buster. Hillary supporters have crucified you and boy, did you deserve every word of it. Maybe you ought to consider another line of work. You should at least be suspended, like David Shuster, for a few weeks as punishment. I will never, NEVER listen to you again. I have for a number of years. I never dreamed you could be brain-washed to the same degree these Obama maniacs are exhibiting. So much for my years of respect for "Newsweek".

Hillary is certainly not measuring up to the youth in her oponent. His vigor and vitality and enthusiasm for this country are coming through loud and strong. You better go back to the Senate, Hillary, and mellow out with all the good old boys. You can stay there as long as you can get re elected, and keep singing your same old song.

You should be ashamed of yourself!!!!! Obama is Fake and labeled as a big fat liar! He's gay! He let someone suck his penis and we're letting this guy enjoy the fringe benefit of abusing our trust? C'mon, let's all be realistic here. We all have imperfections, but let us not forget that aside from being black, he embraced "Islam".....let the 911 be an instant opener to us all...we can't afford a Black Muslim to derail us once again....enough is enough!!! Barack Obama is not on your side neither on everyone side- he's after his own welfare!!!! America, we need Hilary!!!!!

I am white as if that matters. Blacks and whites are intellgent enough to choose their own candidate. As for blacks voting for Ombama, isn't it Sen.Clinton who said, "It's my turn now," and expected all women to race to the polls and hand over the White House to her. I chose and choose Sen. Obama because I am certain he will keep as many of his promises as his Congress will permit, and more than he gets from negotiating, one of his prime skills. I believe he will aid in the foreign affairs arena because he is willing to talk to everyone, not give in to them as has been implies by less honorable candidates than he, but LISTEN to others before jumping into fighter mode. I believe you sincerely support Sen.Clinton; please for the sake of the Democratic party, do not denegrate those who have made a different choice. Perhaps their rationale is the most valid one after all. Texans for Obama, Texas Veterans for Obama, Texas Women for Obama. I guest you get it. I am voting for Sen. Obama... oops, I already voted for him. :-)

and what they say, and what does it mean to the people on front of public eyes?...
Did Hillary Clinton hurt herself on this Campaign trail ?What is Hillary Clinton think after this game it over?

unracist latino -- You took the words right out of my mouth...and don't forget the pole-dancing Obama-Girl (who is an actress who will not reveal who she is ACTUALLY voting for). Women are just so thrilled that a gyrating butt-baring female is drawing in young voters for the president of the United States.

Stupid, stupid Americans. You deserve the consequences for falling for this fake, contrived Obama MARKETING MACHINE. The man is a facade.

Instead of the press going after what is behind the facade -- the press has actually fallen for it also. Stupid, gutless press.

The best 8 years this country has ever seen was when Bill Clinton was President! We would be lucky to have another 8 years of the Clinton's in the White House.

I am very prud of Obama and even HILARY, however as this articles suggests, it would make more sense for Hilary to bide out and offer support for OBAMA because the polls show its improbable for her to win agains MCCAINE and ultimately it was not about wh can win the battle of hilary vs barack for the candidacy or the nomination, but more about who can win the war.. .and its clear that Obama is the better candidate..

    ould get behind hime

I understand that it is your "job" as a "writer" to provoke the discussion -- but it reads like another "let's bash Hillary" or better "let's bash the Clinton's" commentary. I am a democrat - but definitely have not and will not jump on the barackobanwagon! No way! The barackomaniacs have a right to their view (however uniformed it is as their candidate clearly does not stand for much, other than the rhetoric of "change," "dreams," and "coming together" ) If Obama gets the nomination, I will most likely change my party affiliation to "decline to state." Nader and McCain provide another option. Oh, I almost forgot, let me put my "surprised" face on - as I continue to read, tune in on-line and on the network and cable news -- as they continue to show their unequivocal bias toward Obama and their disdain for the first viable woman candidate to the presidency of the US.
