    The best 8 years this economy has seen was when Bill Clinton was President. It would be wonderful to have all three of these great minds to work together for the good of this country!

    Once again, you have judged to early and you are not being journalistic...Instead you are trying to influence the election through your column, which makes you the worst type of journalist....not one at all.....you go ahead and quit your job and see if Barack is willing to hire you as a speach writer...god know he needs one....words do matter....make them your own...... Maybe you can help him come up with something original.... Oh, wait, you have to have substance to come up with your own words..... that's the difference between the Show and the "minor leagues.....Sen. Obama, don't talk to me me about hope, it's time to start telling people about what your plans are nad how you plan on executing them.....Time to grow up, they will clean your clock come general election time if all you have is Hope and not answers.

    I am shocked at the division of democrats. Obama is a very worthy individual, intelligent and authentic, yet the word experience is something that does matter. He is a president in waitng, but in waiting is all. For now. Hillary may have flaws, each individual does, but she has the only chance of beating McCain, a man who will condemn America and the free world to a lifetime of war, and that of our children. Obama does not have the qualifications to beat him. Not this time. Not now. Obama would do well to sit at Hillary's side and learn. To help formulate policies which bring the change he hopes for, and that of every other American, but to put him against McCain would be democrat suicide. If Gore could not beat Bush, Obama has as much chance as a chocolate teapot of holding in tea. If you want education, universal healthcare, trade that generates US jobs and a country where the leader is strong enough to repel those who smoulder freedom but sustain and build the American vision of a free world, then elect Hillary. She's not perfect but she will fight every step of the way, standing up for the freedoms Americans take for granted. Obama will get there, but he needs training in global politics, just as a doctor needs his residency before becoming a consultant.

    If you think Obama getting in is going to spark some sort of "change" like they're throwing out on the tv, then you my friends are brain washed by that little hypno box. The only "change" you'll see is the complete freezing of the presidential position. Remeber, he still has to get thing okayed by 2 other sections of the government. With all this talk about "i'm going to change this" and "washington's going to be different." its only obvious that whats really being said is "i'm looking to piss off people on both sides of the fence and not get anything passed." I'm sorry, but that is the reality of things. History's a funny thing, the race card has always been played big when it comes to slavery. History dictates that all races during one point in time were slaves, from the blacks, to yes, even the whites during the time of the pilgrims. The pilgrims, to get to this country, had to sign waivers of workmanship to help build the colonies, Many dying in the process due to the hardships and treatment during the period, much like the slaves. Today is no different, they just changed the definition of the word slave. The People are the slaves to the corperations. 80% of the US go and bust butt every day at work just so we can pay our bills and support our familys, bitting and scratching threw it all. Who gets rich? The corperations. The very people were supporting on the tv in this election are the very slave owners of the people. Every last one of them. Proof is there is no strong emphasis on what they can do for the economy or enviornment or for the people, just little remarks stating "we will change it." No plan, just a promise. Here's a hint for everyone. If a person promised unthought of riches by following a program that requires you to worship him and bring more follows, its not reality, its a pyrmid scheme and guess what, "You've just been conned."

      Hilary promises change, so does Mcain. So maybe you should listen to your own advice. All politicians promise change,that's how they get elected. P.S. the pilgrims weren't slaves-they were endentured servants-they had their trip to america paid for and only worked a limited amount of years to pay it off. But, whites have been slaves-just not the pilgrims.

I am and always have been a devout democrat, and i can tell you for sure that if he is chosen to represent the democratic party, we will definately end up with another republican president. I for one, along with so many other democrats will be forced to vote for Mcain that he wont have a chance in hell to win. If Clinton loses the nomination, I think she should run without the nomination as an independant just to make sure that the no snake oil sa;esman does'nt have a chance. Besides that, if she did run without the endorsement......chances are, she would win. How in the world did you get the job you have anyway? I mean being such an idiot and all......

    By the way, there is nothing graceful about slimy politics that much of media and Obama's campaign have been serving us.     Hillary must stay as far as the convention! She has to stay in to (1) get her main planks voted into the platform and (2) If nececessary, swallow her pride and accept the VP slot on the ticket.     I understand that it is your "job" as a "writer" to provoke the discussion -- but it reads like another "let's bash Hillary" or better "let's bash the Clinton's" commentary. I am a democrat - but definitely have not and will not jump on the barackobanwagon! No way! The barackomaniacs have a right to their view (however uniformed it is as their candidate clearly does not stand for much, other than the rhetoric of "change," "dreams," and "coming together" ) If Obama gets the nomination, I will most likely change my party affiliation to "decline to state." Nader and McCain provide another option. Oh, I almost forgot, let me put my "surprised" face on - as I continue to read, tune in on-line and on the network and cable news -- as they continue to show their unequivocal bias toward Obama and their disdain for the first viable woman candidate to the presidency of the US.
