Hillary Clinton was very involved ...probably more than the vice-president was..

As to Obama...when has there ever been a candidate who has no military exp., never a govenor, never a vice president, never a business leader....starts running for President within the first year of his first term of his first stab at national service?

While affirmative action was a needed and great idea, seems kind of silly to use it for President of the United States.

I agree, Hillary should get out now and help the Democratic Party. All she is doing now is hurtful. She is just starting up alot of drama in order to make something happen. She does'nt understand that it isn't helping. Look at how she has run her campain. The rats are jumping ship just like in Bushe's Cabinet. I doubt she would have run the White House any differently.

Do we want to go in this blind? Obama has NOOOOO experience, HELLO. Just another sweet talker. At least Hilary has back up from her husband with experience that put our country in a better position than Bush has. Does China own us yet? The money we owe them is insain!!! I say Hilary because I'm a Democrat-but if she drops out I will vote for McCain.

To "pasbair" - In response to your question about the money behind Obama. Well, he's a Senator from Illinois. Illinois = Chicago. Hmmm...Where's the money there? Ever heard of Mayor Dailey and the mafia in Chicago? Oops, I mean the democratic political machine in Chicago...

This Texas Democrat is for Hillary and will vote Republican before voting for Obama. His wife's remark about just recenlty being proud of her country and Obama's church states "We are unashamedly Black . . . . Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land." tells me he is not for everyone. How can he be for all the people of every race when he goes to a church that remains true to their native land? If a white person went to a predominanty white church and made this kind of statement, they would be considered racist.

JUST BECAUSE BO JANGLES DANCED- DOESNT MEAN WE SHOULD MAKE HIM PRESIDENT.
PLEASE WAKE UP AMERICA WE CANNOT AFFORD THE MISTAKE.

Are you an expert? If Obama was white, he would not be considered a candidate.
We won't vote for a woman in this country; we are bigoted against them.
If electing Hillary gets Bill back in the White House; I'm for it.

Yeah, let's get Bill back in there. Brilliant. What better way to clean up after a President who violated the constitution and broke the law, than to violate the constitution and break the law in taking power for OUR team!

Next you'll be saying we should tap phones and torture people.... just *different* people than Bush does.

Bill lied in court, it cost Gore the presidency by standing by Clinton, Bill lied in court and it will cost Hillary the presidency. We all can forgive all, but not lieing in court and not admitting to it. If he had, he would have been the greatest, Gore would have been President , then Hillary.

    • Posted By: cdmomega @ 02/25/2008 10:42:35 PM

Bill did not lie in court, he made a false statement (he lied) in a deposition. The thing is, if it had been in court, the questions would have been objected to as irrelevant and the objection would have been upheld. The rules of evidence for depositions allow almost unlimited leeway in questioning which allowed Ken Starr to carry on a near-infinite fishing expedition. Have you ever asked yourslf how questions about Lewinxky even came up in an investigation about Whitewater? Or why a second special prosecutor was appointed after the first one had completed his investigation and concluded the Clinton's had committed no criminalacts? This was a political hit job from the start.

Hillary is the only candidate that can fulfill this position without any hiccups - come on she has already ran our country - we don't need any further delays from the war ending and waiting for a candidate to get up/running - Hillary and Bill did a phenonmenal job - we had full employment, America's ratings were great, and our country was at peace

Hey!!!! I have little political experience but I am educated, well spoken, and charismatic. Also, I have a lot of life experience and common sense. I have a vision and people like me. I know! Let me win the Democratic Nomination! Just kidding. Hang in there Hillary! We love you in PA! It ain't over till its over!

Obama is a creation of the media, every day they are selling him to us. Why? So they can influence him later on. He will owe his success to the.
You are wrong, Hillary should not quit now.

Hey tjake13 I'm for that too. Put Billy back in there. He certainly knows how to handle women. And what's so great about it, is the Feminists love him.

In 1976 the US was running Watergate and the Vietnam war. A smart inexperienced one term Governor from rural Georgia captured the imagination of a nation looking for change. The US economy barely survived that experience. Are we going to relive that experience?

  • Posted By: twilight_arises @ 02/25/2008 10:40:08 PM

I find your bias incredible, and your disregard for the political out even more stunning. Hillary is our only shot. I'm not sure if you understand exactly what Obama will do to our country. Our last president virtually destroyed our economy. Only Hillary can save it. Obama will just tear it to pieces until it crashes. I'm sure you don't care about that, because you're a reporter and you can just write about all of the people dying in the streets, but for some of us it would be a big deal. For some of us, we would lose our jobs and be unable to take care of our families.

Obama is not what the country needs right now. Maybe he would have been a good president pre-Bush, he could have destroyed the economy instead of bush. He doesn't even know what he's doing, really. Obama has good intentions, I'll give hhim that, but he has no PLAN. Hillary, like it or not, has a plan for everything. She is perfect in those regards. If you ask Hillary a questions, she delivers. Obama, on the other hand, delivers these heart felt speeches that inspire and motivate. That's great and all, but what does the ability to inspire mean in times of war? Starvation? Economic destruction? All the ability to inspire will do is keep people calm, prevent anarchy, and that doesn't even matter if our president is horrible to begin with. I'd prefer anarchy to Obama.

The fact of the matter is: people are stupid. America is completely warped. If anyone had the drive to look deeper than flowery speeches, Hillary would be president hands down. The woman can be a bit annoying, but unlike Obama, she knows whhat she's talking about. She can make this country into a good place, a place most of us have not seen in a very long time. Unfortunately, Obama is probably going to be elected. Democrats are just shallow. They are caring more about personality and eloquence than the actual politics. If you think the Obama should become president and Hillary should give up, you are just part of the warped democrats populating america.Hillary can't give up now. I have faith that people like you will eventually look past these foolish impressions and see that Hillary is the right one. If Hillary drops out, I will be forced to leave the country, because I don't want to be here when Obama takes us all down.

Maybe she should withdrawl and declare herself an independant. I for one would vote for her. I will vote for Ralph Nader rather than accept McCain or Obama. The media and the democratic party leadership are forcing Obama down our throats and I for one can't understand why. It would serve the party right if she ran as an independant. Remember the old saying if sounds to good to be true it probably is. Once again we will be stuck choosing from two really bad candidates in the general election.

What kind of person would want to see our Commander-in-chief in a dress? Hillary Clinton is a temper tantrum throwing, smug face lying, sore loser. One day she cries and the next day she is screaming mad about something she has only herself to blame. President Obama has a cool demeanor, is calm under fire and has the words to inspire the nation and the world. The differences they have on the health care is important because mandatory health insurance means someone will be fined or their wages will be garnished. Smart move lady. Not! Oh, I bet hard working middle class folks love that they loss their jobs due to NAFTA which Hillary had overwhelming support for. Democrats do not let your skepticism of a minority (being politically correct) or your wish to see the first woman president stop you from supporting this party's on hope to beat Mc Cain. I can tell you that the alternative, John Mc Cain will be the worst president ever. This guy will have your sons and daughters not only in Iraq and Afghanistan, but soon Iran and probably North Korea. Get ready for the draft, a recession, higher taxes, rebates, and a deficit the U.S. will never recover from. Don't worry about this small issue of experience, he will have the Congress, military advisors, economic advisors and the power of the people to help him guide us to the Promise Land. YES WE CAN! OBAMA '08

Enter Your CommentAnd you are a sexist jerk! Don't hold your breath while you wait for Hillary supporters to come on over for party unity. Forget it, buddy! I will vote for McCain if this second coming happens.

You underestimate her. If she goes down ugly--like you say she will if she chooses to stay in the race--it won't hardly phase her. Grace and class are not words that can be used to describe the Clintons. Avoidance may be a good term to use. She will show back up next time and not reference her humiliating defeat--if that's what happens. It will be just like healthcare reform--not only did she not reform it, but the fact that she failed, was swept under the rug--not to mention other things she was involved in. Not that I am trying to point out the she failed miserably at healthcare reform so much as I am trying to point out that her ambitions are limitless, but that doesn't mean that her abilities are.
All of the claims about the press burying the bad things about Obama and dismissing them--hello? It may be true but i think the press has done its fair share of burying Clinton scandals for as long as they have been in the limelight of politics. Maybe, turn about is fair play? Either way it is getting old fast!

I don't get where Hillary CLinton comes off by touting her experience over Obama?
She has been married to Bill Clinton all of her adult lifeand as such she has been a politicians wife.
    Does that count as experience?
If you were to use that logic in any other profession it would not stand up.
An airline pilot is sick so his (or her) spouse shows up to fly the plane... would you get on board?
Your mechanic is not able to work on your car... the spouse can do it?
Your Doctor is not available to perform a C-section, no problem the spouse can handle it...

call her out on the experience factor already !
