This is for "hillwoman143" : There is a spell and grammar check on your computer. I suggest you learn to use it before posting a comment on the internet for everyone to read. Seems to me that you're the one who "beleives" what ever you read, seeing as you read "Time". Read a real "political" magazine. Maybe it would help you write and sound like an educated adult. And you can also find real stats on who will win. Just a suggestion.

obama talks change, change, change, but to achive change you need to know and work with the other members of congress. hillary knows washington, she can achive change. obama does not know anyone in washington. hillary can pull the women from the republican side, who is obama going to pull? nobody. if obama gets the nomination then the republicans have the white house again. do you really want that? the republicans are pushing abama because they know if he gets the nomination they win. just watch the rich tv people. do you think they are demacrates?

I normaly lean toward republican myself when I vote, but I always vote for who I think is best for the position. The only time I ever voted for any other reason is when I voted this time for the canidate in Georgia's Super Tuesday election. I too voted for Oboma because I didn't want Hillary to have a chance to destroy this nation. If she reads this I know her jaw will tighten like it always does when Oboma hits her where it hurts like in the debates. I'm not against Oboma nor McCain but I tend to lean more toward Oboma for several reasons. I'm greatful for what McCain has done for this country but I'm afraid he just doesn't have totally what this country needs right now. Out of the 2 I think Oboma may be our best choice.. Either would be better the Hillary ANYDAY!!!

Are you an expert? If Obama was white, he would not be considered a candidate.
We won't vote for a woman in this country; we are bigoted against them.
If electing Hillary gets Bill back in the White House; I'm for it.

If Obama wins the nomination he will need the votes from the Hillary supporters, but his arrogance and disrespect for Hillary will cost him a lot of our votes and he will never win the presidency..All us Hillary supporters shud band together and stick it to Obama and the media...Talk about being called idiots all over the world...

    • Posted By: wick25 @ 02/25/2008 10:18:11 PM

I'm with you......I will not vote for Obama in November. I hope all of Hillary's supporters feel the same way. Stay away from the polls. Lets show The media and the Democratic party and those Obama freaks how much clout we really have.

God help us if Obama wins

God's been helping us through the Bush administration? Maybe this is his solution.. (smile)

When you look at the narrowing landscape of Hillary's winning possibilities, in contrast to Obama's flooding appeal, I could'nt agree more. Right now the race is not between Hallary and Obama, it is between Democrats and Republicans, new ideas versus the statusquo, a new America in the eyes of the world versus the dying vestiges of political cronnies growing cold.
Obama's ability to inspire a movement is in itself a wonder, a political wonder of the 21st century. The best of this tussle is to subscribe to the views of the author, and pitch in with Obama as a VP. What a team it would be. Excellent article. thumbs up.

I really have to disagree about Alter's article saying that Clinto n should get out of the race now. Yes the numbers are not in her favor at this time, but we as Democrats should allow the prpocess of democracy to play out. There may be surprises down the road that we don't know about at this time. From what I have seen Mr. Obama has tripped up and may just trip over his own swagger. The attention of the press changed rapidly away form talk about Mrs. Obama's racist comments about finally being proud of her country when John McCain's name was called to dragged through the mud. That is the really sad part of the press coverage. How do we as a country allow the wife of a presidential candidate to put down all the heros of 911 and the volunteers who gave of their own time to rebuild New Orleans? This country has had far too many examples of Americans being just themselves and doing what was thought impossible. How can she only be proud of the people of this country when they vote for her husband. The unstated reason is that she is racist, that could be the biggest disaster the country could face. We as a people should be voting on ability and leadership skills, not race or sex. I fear that her feelings are representative of his beliefs. I also suspect that if Senator Clinton were to back out of the race now, before Texas and Ohio, that Mr. Alter would be the first journalist to call her a weak woman and a quiter. Let the race work itself out, jsut like Senator Clinton said that the superdelagate issue would work itself out. By the way Mr. Alter, I suspect that you might want to rerun your recording of that portion of the debate, I think you misread what she was saying. Maybe you are just like far too many men and unable to understand what a woman means!

I feel that the people who answer on this e-mail should run for President. They are just as qualified as the two candidates and could do as well in Washington. Sorry, but there a very few of you who know what you are talking about. It's really unfortunate that so many people have all the answers but don't know how to get anything done.

As a woman, I don't need to support Clinton to be pleased that she was the candidate with gravitas in this race. And she doesn't have to win to demonstrate that my daughter's prospects in this country are eversomuch better than my own were at her age. Therefore, in my eyes, when she loses her dignity as she has since Friday, it is my daughter who she is hurting. Please, please, please, Senator Clinton - make it stop.

Lady there are 46% of the delegates to be had and the polls show she will get the major portion of them. Obama has won 11 states but Bill won with only 12 states.. The right state are better then the number of states! They know this and want her supporters to give up. This is a article with and agenda! They will at some point have to put the MI and FL delegates in her count and that they hope to avoid! Not going to happen! WE ARE IN TO WIN! GO HILLARY

Not only do we let Newsweek run the primaries, after they get their president of choice elected......what's next? Take over Congres???? Boycott Newsweek, Boycott Time, Boycott All Media. Make up your own mind by reading material about the issues posted by the candidates. NOT READING OR LISTENING TO EDITORIALS

Comment: Aggiebob should be ashamed of himself but ignorant redneck, inbred hillbillies like him have no shame. Comparing Hillary to a prostitute is reprehensible. Didn't your mother teach you any manners?Sounds like somebody should! Are all Texans as ignorant and as filthy-mouthed as you, you little virus?

Surprise, surprise, another negative headline for Hillary. Seems the only way for the media to save face is for her to drop out of the race. Somehow Obama can keep the free ride going without taking any position on how he will actually lead America. Sure Hillary is smart, she is tough, and yes she is a woman. When did it become so wrong to have a backbone? I guess, you think the black vote will carry Obama in the general election, if you really think the liberals and independents will vote for him in November, please vote for Hillar now.. At least her campaign is with true democrats and not relying on walking on water.

I will vote for Obama, because I believe he can cross party lines and actually get thing done for this country. I believe he will take care of Americans before trying to bully the rest of the world with our Bush's belief in how every other country should be a democracy. The claim he has no experience, maybe he doesn't have that much, but Bush has quite a bit and look where he's got us.

    • Posted By: realitycheck04 @ 02/25/2008 10:14:36 PM

misconception...actually Bush did not have the experience, his brother Jeb was suppose to run but becuase of family issues the Bushes put W out there. W is a good old boy, love the people tell them what they want to hear guy... and look what we got. I can't trust a pulpit speakerlike Obama...I want substance, our country needs it, our world needs it...so I am voting for Senator Clinton

  • Posted By: ladyintexas @ 02/25/2008 10:13:40 PM

I will never vote for Clinton and I am a yellow dog Democrat-- I am moving with you!!
