Ity is truly amazing the amount of people that think the democrats have the answer. Universal Health care, show me one country where this has been a success. Realignment of wealth, are you going to give up what you have worked hard for because the guy next door is lazy, unlucky, a druggie, a proffesional student etc? Amnesty for the illegal aliens, if I jumped your fence, broke into your house, took your kids job, piled up my car into your Benz with no license, registration or insurance wouldn't you be PO'd. The only reason for Illegal Aliens is so the democrats will have someone to do their gardening and housekeeping. WHY WHY WHY would anyone vote for Obama? Do you feel that guilty about the black mans oppresion that you will vote for someone with NO track record? A guy who has a wife that untill last week wasn't proud to be American? I know Hillary isn't much, but, at least she has been to Washington and has somewhat more to offer. This counrty is in bad shape, we don't need someone who is going to learn as he goes, maybe.

Jonathan Alter is an idiot pure and simple. Just because Mr. Atler is an unabashed Obama supporter is no reason for the rest of us to try and avoid the Liberal George Bush - e.g. all rhetoric, no action, or cynical perverse backwards action. I personally would vote for John McCain before I ever vote for that absolute fraud Mr. Obama. Shame on you Mr. Atler, why don't you go live somewhere where there is only 1 candidate on the ballot, perhaps that will make things simple enough for you.

Fraud would be misleading America into WAR or bringing shame to the Whilehouse.
      Go OBAMA

shame is right obama wouldnt have us in war he would serender to every enmy we have and hand the usa over

        • Posted By: Moriah272727 @ 02/25/2008 5:20:20 PM

If Obama would surrender to the enemy and hand the USA over, then I Pray to the Lord that he won't be President. The United States has never surrendered in a War, and we always win, and we will win the war. :)

Actually, the United States has lost two wars, the Vietnam War and the War on Drugs.

            • Posted By: MissyOIL @ 02/25/2008 9:27:19 PM

... Add to that the war in Iraq.

  • Posted By: lodmi @ 02/25/2008 9:26:58 PM

Experience: That was a Great ???experience??? of her voting for the War in Iraq? Should we need that?
Governor Bush did not have experience enough but Governor???s wife Clinton ??? has and more than?
Agree ??? she did a lots of statistics in Healthcare, how does it count to manage anything?
She demonstrated already how week she is managing her campaign. Right now. Still need more evidence?
Well: poor financial management of this campaign with unreasonable spending ??? that what we eager for our Economy?
Whatever her husband did ??? not a sense here, but her hysterical manners ??? the real shame to see and disgrace for any Leader.
The thing is ??? she is NOT a leader.
    Why should we bother ?

  • Posted By: bigmacsmama @ 02/25/2008 9:26:48 PM

Hillary Clinton???s actions and statements as of late are typical of someone desperately trying to hang on. Her frustration is coming through loud and clear and it???s not helping her campaign at all. Barack Obama has remained consistent and steadfast in his policy statements, and his defenses against political enemies remain generic and specifically designed to point out the errors in their attacks. This is the kind of calm, thoughtful response we want from a president at this time in our nation???s history, especially after the knee-jerk Bush administration. Senator Obama will continue to maintain the calm and confidence of a candidate who has nothing to hide and everything to offer. Senator Clinton will dig her own political grave.

With regard to the picture of Senator Obama dressed in native Kenyan attire--anyone who wants to believe and promote that picture as an indication that he is Muslim isn???t someone who would vote for him anyway. And I wonder...if he were Muslim, would that make a difference for his supporters? His lifetime of achievements characterize him, not his choice of religion (which happens to be Christianity).

For Hillary to give up now, I think would be as stupid as the 10 hairs on top of your head look.. I think she should fight all the way. Why not? All this crap about it will ruin Obama's chances in the general election. Well if he lives in that fragile a glass house then maybe HE should step down for good of the party, else the Republicans will being hurling some pretty big stones at him which frankly, I do not have the confidence he will withstand. Newsweek have made thierandAmericans like a fight contrary to what media says. .and

  • Posted By: psullivanll @ 02/25/2008 9:26:19 PM

If you think Obama could make even one single Republican vote Democratic, you are deluding yourself. He is just abouty the last person any Republican wants running this country. Also, as a Christian, I am insulted that you have allowed yourself to be duped into considering him a Christian. A person who is raised and educated Muslim, but buys himself into one of thos ridiculous "church of christ" franchises to fluff his resume is NOT a Christian. Perhaps you should learn what these words mean before you call someone ELSE "stupid".

I am deeply offended at a suggestion that Hillary should exit. Let Ohio and Texas Speak. Let the politically excluded delgates (for ex Florida) speak. What happened to letting the people of this country choose their president?

  • Posted By: spk2me @ 02/25/2008 9:06:22 PM

I also have heard that Obama refuses to salute the American Flag! What kind of president would he turn out to be? So help us God, America does NOT NEED a President who refuses to salute the American Flag!

    • Posted By: pink pearl @ 02/25/2008 9:23:48 PM

he wont put his hand on his heart, he wont salute the flag, he wont wear a flag pin, or say the pledge of allegiance, or stand up during. or sing the national antthem , if you cant dont that how could you be our leader? this is a place i would never want to go or follow. and more people need to know and hear and understand.

Truth is finally coming through loud and clear! Her supporters have been saying this since Iowa and all the blogs are full of her comments months ago. We have done this unity and positive crap so much that it has suppressed truth. Hey the truth will set you free is correct even if it is a negative statement or a merited attack! We all know we can't depend on the media to print or say truth anymore. Not a single American is not talking about the Obama media bias!

Hilary was "toast" in all 40 voting districts in Alaska by a very wide margin. Taking Bill Clinton on the campaign trail was the killer! We have no use for him!

    • Posted By: lastjournaliststanding @ 02/25/2008 9:23:25 PM

uh. let me see if i can remember. when was the last time a democrat WON ALASKA in the general? hmmm. another AWESOME obama victory, which won't mean *** in november. brilliant.

Where as everyone is seeing the King in his robe of gold I say he is naked. The media will not decide for me.

you've seen what the media wants you to see.

Hello!?! This race is NOT over. Personally, I am supporting Huckabee, on the long shot that we might see no winner until the Rebublican convention floor, so I find it quite amusing that you would dare to tell Hillary she should hang it up! What happened to the democratic process???? It is quite clear that your motive is to exert your wishes on the public, rather than to do any form of impartial reporting . . .

  • Posted By: bigmacsmama @ 02/25/2008 9:20:55 PM

Adversaries tend to make up inflammatory accusations when there's nothing of substance to criticize. Barack Obama's Muslim heritage is a huge bonus with regard to dealing with Muslim nations. He, however, isn't a Muslim. The people who perpetuate this falsehood are not only without anything of substance to criticize, they are making the case for racist ultraconservatism. Not a very good tactic if you ask me.

I live in TEXAS and am THRILLED that we are having a primacaucus. How can you even think of taking this right away from me you sexist pig?

  • Posted By: Imaaden @ 02/25/2008 9:20:15 PM

It is obvious to all but the dead because even the deaf and blind can see that the media has been force feeding their selective views and tailoring this campaign, democrat and republican alike, like a wrestling main event. Qualified candidates and/or viewpoints have been excluded from wide broadcast. Personally, I am still waiting for a person of quality to appear. I am not holding my breath!

Whoever I vote for, the decision will be based on their record, and based on the records of our 3 media chosen candidates, their record sucks. The problems we have, were created by them. The issues they promise to fix were fostered by them. Why didn't they fix these problems before? They have been in office and certainly had the opportunity to do so? So, like many elections before, thousands of Americans will be forced to choose between the lesser of two evils.....................

You are wrong. Senator Clinton can also go to the convention and cut a backroom deal for the delegates she would need. Any kind of a win is a win in the Clinton book. Graciously ? Not the Wicked Witch of the West Wing ! Quit ? Not this war horse.

    • Posted By: lastjournaliststanding @ 02/25/2008 9:19:54 PM

exactly. and that's why she'd make a better president. you're guy only wins WHEN THERE IS NOT A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD. check out his background. he ELIMINATED the other people of color from the ballot in Illinois. People who he was supposed to be supporting, by hiring big time lawyers and finding ways to GET THEIR NAMES REMOVED. so he goes to his part time job in the illinois senate, then runs against ALAN *** KEYES. my grandmother could beat him. you're all morons

  • Posted By: debgo330 @ 02/25/2008 9:19:40 PM

Abdul, personally I prefer the residuals of BUSH than to that which was left on the walls (or the blue dress) by Bill Clinton! As for Clinton supporting the war on Iraq, she voted based upon what she was told by those whom she should have been able to trust. I admire her more for being brave enough to CHANGE her mind after the fact, and admit it. Look at Obama's voting record as a US Senator for Illinois - does he vote as one who wants to UNIFY and bring CHANGE to this country? Or does he vote strictly along party lines. I've compared Clinton and Obama's voting records and I certainly prefer someone who is willing to WORK with the other party. I'm sick of all of this fighting between the Democrats and Republicans - all the finger-pointing and placing blame. The Democrats are in power - why haven't they done anything? They said they were going to end the war. They haven't. They said they were going to do a lot of things. They haven't. It's politics as usual - say whatever it takes to get elected, then don't do what you said you would do. They ALL spend their time positioning themselves to remain in office rather than doing their jobs. While Americans sit and watch...and wait... Obama is more of the same. We just don't know enough about him yet!
