I am from Texas and am THRILLED that we are having a primacaucus. Why would you take my right to vote away from me you sexist pig?

I am very disappointed in the media's poor performance of revealing the facts for each candidate. Why don't you just come right out and say "We want Obama to win and Clinton to lose." This way you point out your bias from the beginning. Stop calling yourselves journalists. As a journalist major in a top university you make me feel ashamed of our work. No facts, no proof, no investigating. Just pure opinions and favortism. Do us a favor and let the people who are undecided decide for themselves.
Jonathan,
Hilary should get out only after you agree to shave that hopeless bald spot in the center of your head. What an idoit you are!
There have been several references in this blog regarding a candidates resume, or lack of one. As if Hillary has a credible one, and Barack has not. The run for the White House is not so unlike jobs in the everyday sector, and our president IS of course OUR employee. Simply having a stellar resume is no guarantee of success or even a good fit with the job at hand. 'Experience' has little to do with the 'heart and mindset' of the individual in question. Hillary has tried every game out there...from direct attacts to feigned 'weariness' and attempted sincerity. She will continue to fake whatever emotion the day calls for...and it is overly apparent that others can see through her phony BS as well. I am fed up with her, and if she wishes to remain gracious, she SHOULD step aside and allow a real leader to lead the way. Barack may not have all the experiences she has had, but he has remained stable, consistant, and strong. We need that now more than ever.
I am a staunch democrat and will not vote for Obama. I have searched and searched the internet looking for something, anything he has accomplished to qualify him for this position. There is nothing. I care too much about this country to put him at the helm. Should Hillary lose the nomination, I will vote for McCain as will many other Democrats I have spoken to.
wOW!!! tHIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WAS SAID ABOUT BILL WHEN HE FIRST RAN. Have you all forgotten that Bill had no experience whatsoever and now Hillary says its all about experience. She also says she was against NAFTA but then what does her book say? She supported it. Hillary Clinton a woman for all seasons or whatever benefits her the most.
excuse me. Bill was the governer of Arkansas. Thats way more than the Obama hype can even get near to.
can't handle the truth, eh? wait until the general, if he wins. you'll all be hysterical. HE AIN'T READY
Newsweek and MSNBC should have to register as PAC's for Obama. Hillary is 100 delegates behind coming up on three big states where she is leading in the polls and she should drop out? She is the democrat with an actual plan. Obama-mania is also a media creation, she is getting just as many people at her rallies, but that goes unmentioned.
Alter, maybe if you play your cards right you will get to be the next Larry Sinclair!
Is this man sober??? How can someone who should be well informed write such a senseless article? ... and to think that a reputable (or is it??) magazine would publish such trash. I expect that Newsweek would have better informed reporters willing to publish real, up tp date, information. If this continues, McCain will have the White House with no effort!
Jonathan,
Hilary should get out as soon as you shave that hopeless bald spot on your head. What an idoit!
nveonline -- Wow I thought I was the only one who had thought up the idea of having more than one "president". Sheesh -- we have SO MANY different groups of people who get totally shut out of the candidate they would like to see in office that, really, by the time one president is elected, 80 percent of us are only voting for what we call "the lesser of two evils".
How quickly we forget that Bill Clinton himself was elected by grandoise speeches and an uncanny ability to look people in the eye while he swiped their wallet from their back pocket. He didn't get the title Slick Willy for nothing. Clinton himself was a dreamer, someone who could speak to the people, someone the people generally liked. I think it funny that people criticize Obama for that, all the while supporting Hillary Clinton. If we backtracked 8 years and really listen to Bill Clinton's speeches, the tactics are not that dissimilar. What the Hillary Clinton camp refuses to admit, is that America will take an inexperienced rhetorician over a experienced angry shrew anyday of the week. If she had half the poise and grace of Obama, this race wouldn't be close. But America quickly tires of the irrate female appeal to pathos. Whether right or wrong, voters of all countries are going to vote for the candidate with the greatest ability to convince us of their ability to lead. Elections aren't a test of leadership abillities. If they were, the race would be held out on some desert island and we would be receiving regular updates on the competitors perfomance on various tasks, a "survivor" type of political competition. In the end, both candidates are a gamble and no one really knows. 9 times out of 10, the vote is going to go to the most convincing candidate. And it's not just here in the US, it's that way everywhere. Why else would Cuban's pledge there support to Raul Castro? Bottom line, elections are not about who can best lead. They are about who can sound like they will be able to lead this country. Hands down, Obama is the superior candidate for President of the United States.
are you crazy... I remember it like yesterday! his command of details blew all of us away! yes he did inspire hope but it was through details not lighting bolts from above or borrowed speeches and line from other greats!
I wish Hillary supporters would wake up to the fact that she is all about the power, she'll say what is convenient at the time then switch it up to suit her purposes...hmmm wonder who gave Bush his power to start this War? Think People
i'd love to see your faces when obambi's egomaniacal nature screws it all up royally. you're going to realize you've been taken by a flim-flam man, fronted by oprah and pushed down our throats by a dissolute coward named teddy kennedy ---- who by the way, PAID SOMEONE TO TAKE HIS LAW EXAMS AT VIRGINIA.
No truer words have been spoken. I would indeed love to have a woman president but JUST NOT THIS WOMAN.
My feelings exactly.
Hillary milked every political position she has from her marraige to Bill Clinton. She's also acting like an imbecile.

There is nothing wrong in advising Hilary to quit in dignity and grace. I was her supporter until Thursday night but changed my mind irrevocably when she evaded two important questions. First, she was asked if she thought she was wrong for voting against the Iraq troop surge and it now seems to e working???would she now admit she had made a mistake? She went on and on and never answered the question.
The second question was about earmarks, of which she seems to be one of the heaviest spenders. She supplied an ???answer??? that was totally unrelated to the question. Hello, Hilary? You spent $343 million of taxpayers??? money and you did not think we voters needed to know what your rationale for spending that money was or that we are not intelligent enough to see you are taking us for a ride.
On the other hand, Mr. Obama admitted that the troop surge seems to have reduced violence in Iraq, and gave the world the reference to where to find information about his earmark spending.
I suddenly realized that Hilary???s behavior in that debate is actually a pattern. As much as I yearn for answers, I still don???t know if she admits she made a mistake for voting for the Iraq war. What is she hiding? What does she seem perpetually allergic to the truth? Is being smart and a fighter one and same with evasiveness?
I also became angry at how I had been duped by the press all this time. The questioners did not insist that she provided an answer and just let her get away with these two important questions. Frankly, even Hilary???s campaign manager cannot do more if you got her to moderate the debate. It was a shame that CNN would supervise such a sham.
Up until that time, I had rationalized her words and actions on the basis of political exigency, but Hilary is now way past the threshold of acceptable political attack in any situation, much more so when it is against an opponent from your own party.
I will shortly make a donation to Mr. Obama???s campaign.
Yes it doesnt look good for Hillary, and that saddens me. Who indeed is Barack Hussein Obama? My take on the matter is that he is the anti-christ. Its been foretold that the beast would be given a mouth with which he can voice a message of hope and change and peace to the world, and many will fall under his spell.
He is supposed to arrive out of nowhere, and Obama wasnt even known outside his own state constituancy five years ago. And his message is all about hope, change and peace. He doesnt say how he will accomplish it, because he doesnt have any intention of accomplishing it.
I'm glad I'm not the only one whose hair is standing up on the back's of their necks when it comes to Barack Hussein Obama. Of course he hasn't, and will not, specifically outline His plan to change the country. It's because he has no plan to change this country. He's going to distroy this country.
that is ridiculous!

HILLARY ON HEALTHCARE = HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT! YOU ALL SHOULD WATCH MICHAEL MOORE'S DOCUMENTARY ON HEALTHCARE! SCREW THE REPUBLICANS!!!
Hillary time to say by by you tried but your coldness, mechanical thinking won't take you anywhere.......Mc Cain time to retire, you must be very tired and we need energy.......Obama time to prove the world that you are the right and only electable candidate!
If Hillary really were for her party as she claims, she would see that if Obama gets the nomination, the chances of a Democratic President are much better. Republicans like myself actually like Obama and would probably vote for him. ( I plan to if he gets the nomination) On the other hand, if Hillary gets the nomination, I would vote for Miss Piggy before I would vote for her.
there is no way on the face of the earth that you are a republican. only a fake republican who is really an OBAMA freak, would invoke JIM HENSON'S PUPPETS as a masterful zinger. you're a moron.
